    Fisherman's Wife Perception to Manage TIME for Providing Incomes Activity at Melai Village West Rangsang District Kepulauan Meranti Riau Province

    This research was conducted in July 2014 on Melai village West Rangsang District Kepulauan Meranti Riau Province. The location was deliberately determined ( purposive ). The method used in this study is survey method, the type of data, obtained directly from the first responden, the secondary data of additional data such as geographic location, demographic total population, total population besed on gender. The purpose of this research was to determine the fisherman's wife perception to manage time for providing incomes activity.The fisherman's wife characteristic in Melai Village consist of 7 persons (43.75% ) at 32 – 37 years old, thas have graduated primary school. Fisherman's wife in Melai Village dominated as a farmer about 10 persons (62.50 %) . Fisherman's wife perception to manage tie for providng income activity that lacated in agree rate was 6 person with the score about 1306- 1680. While spending time for activities that not able to generate revenue at agree category and spending daily time at disagree category

    Radiation induced grafting of styrene onto poly(ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene) (ETFE) copolymer film was carried out to prepare graft copolymer (ETFE-g-polystyrene) that can host sulfonic acid groups and form proton exchange membrane for polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC). The effect of monomer concentration and type of solvent on the degree of grafting was investigated. The formation of graft copolymer film was confirmed by FTIR spectrum analysis

    Deep Multi-view Models for Glitch Classification

    Non-cosmic, non-Gaussian disturbances known as "glitches", show up in gravitational-wave data of the Advanced Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory, or aLIGO. In this paper, we propose a deep multi-view convolutional neural network to classify glitches automatically. The primary purpose of classifying glitches is to understand their characteristics and origin, which facilitates their removal from the data or from the detector entirely. We visualize glitches as spectrograms and leverage the state-of-the-art image classification techniques in our model. The suggested classifier is a multi-view deep neural network that exploits four different views for classification. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model improves the overall accuracy of the classification compared to traditional single view algorithms.Comment: Accepted to the 42nd IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP'17

    Performance evaluation of a linear predictor frequency estimator for mobile flat fading wireless channels

    A well known frequency estimation algorithm using the linear prediction method is analyzed for flat fading wireless channels. The estimator outputs are statistically analyzed and its jitter performances are compared with the non-fading case and the Cramer-Rao bound. We provide a closed form solution for the distribution and the variance of the frequency estimates under fading conditions by making valid assumptions. We also verify the theoretical model using simulations. Analysis shows that the variance of the estimates for flat fading channels reaches a threshold point and increasing the transmit power does not necessarily improve the performances any further

    The Work TIME Spent by Female Rabbit Breeders and Its' Influential Factors

    The aim of this research was to find out the work time spent by female rabbit breeders and factors influencing the work time spent to raise rabbits in Soppeng, South Sulawesi. The research used survey method with female rabbit breeders as analysis unit. Population of 356 female rabbit breeders in Soppeng was used and a sample of 78 female rabbit breeders were selected by region. The result of the research showed that average work time of female rabbit breeders was 3.044 hours per day, which was spent cleaning cages and equipment, preparing feedstuffs and feeding on rabbits, assisting bunnies breastfeed to their mother and health care. The F-test results reveal that the most significantly influential factors affecting female rabbit breeders work time was household income, number of dependents, rabbit breeding income, and the level of experience in breeding rabbits

    Monitoring of Cochlodinium polykrikoides blooms as a harmful phenomenon in the Persian Gulf (2010-2011)

    The monitoring of the harmful bloom of Cochlodinium polykrikoides in the northern Persian Gulf was studied during 2010 to 2011. The results revealed that in the waters of Hormozgan Province, the Diatoms and Dinoflgellates had the highest frequency. No significant difference was found for amount of nutrients in three sub- regions. The bloom of C. polykrikoides was higher in central sub-region in spring and was occurred in the eastern sub-region in summer, but no mortality of fishes was recorded. In Bushehr Province, four classes of Bacillaryophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Dynophyceae and Prymnesiophyceae were determined. Furthermore significant different values of nutrients were recorded. In waters of Khuzestan Province, different values of NH4 were measured for different months. In total, the measured ratio of N: P in all months was lower than Redfield Ratio (16:1) in which subsequently the environmental condition was not suitable for bloom of C. polykrikoides
