    Kajian ini membahas tentang pembinaan tanggung  jawab warga negara. Pembinaan tanggung jawab warga tidak hanya dilakukan oleh pendidikan formal, namun perlu dilakukan oleh pendidikan informal dan pendidikan non formal. Mengingat sekarang bangsa Indonesia memasuki era globalisasi maka perlu diadakan pembinaan tanggung jawab warga negara melalui Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan baik dalam domain akademik, domain kurikuler, maupun domain sosial kultural. Ketiga domain ini harus berjalan secara seimbang, berkesinambungan dan berlangsung terus menerus.     Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh gambaran faktual mengenai proses pembinaan tanggung jawab warga negara dalam memecahkan pencemaran sungai Kapuas melalui community civics. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dan data-data diperoleh melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, studi literatur dan studi dokumentasi. Pembinaan tanggung jawab warga negara melalui Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan baik dalam domain akademik, domain kurikuler, maupun domain sosial kultural. Ketiga domain ini harus berjalan secara seimbang, berkesinambungan dan berlangsung terus menerus. Hasil pembinaan tanggung jawab warga negara dalam memecahkan masalah-masalah sosial melalui beberapa LSM yang ada di Pontianak dapat dikatakan dapat menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab, cinta dengan lingkungan, peduli lingkungan, dan berubah pola perilaku menjadi prilaku hidup bersih dan sehat.

    A review of literature on communication skills development (CSD) in the engineering curriculum

    Engineering education has expanded recently to include emphasis on the development of some very specific non-technical attributes that match a strong technical base to produce well-rounded engineering graduates who are flexible and adaptable to suit the constantly developing and changing requirements of the workplace. These non technical skills include communication skills, the ability to function in teams, knowledge of societal and contemporary issues, development of global perspective, and ethics awareness. A great importance of these abilities to engineering education has emerged over the last decade even within the international and local scene. Within the Malaysian context, the Engineering Accreditation Council’s (EAC) Engineering Program Accreditation Manual(BEM, 2007) , outlines ten learning outcomes that encompasses both the technical and non technical skills which are considered essential for graduating engineers. Similarly, the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) Criterion 3 (ABET, 2000), outlines eleven criterion which targeted many of these as essential program outcomes in order for engineering programs to be accredited and which are seen as critical for the success in the twenty first century. Communication skills development(CSD) is one of the outcomes required by an undergraduate engineering program in the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) for Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) in Malaysia as well as in the ABET Engineering Criteria 2000 (ABET, 2000). CSD is essential for an engineer who aspires to carry out his/her professional practice in the global arena and especially in the English language. With an increasingly global economy, the Malaysian education system must produce graduates who can communicate effectively in English. Otherwise, it would lose one of its vital selling points for foreign investors to ensure that skilled labor force are sufficient to support internationally competitive commerce and industry and to provide individuals with opportunities to optimize their potentials (Muhammad Rashid bin Rajuddin, 2006; Riemer, 2002)

    Cooperative Learning Method Type "Student Teams Achievement Division" (STAD) is used in an effort to improve mathematics learning outcomes in Class IX-F Students of SMP Negeri 80 Jakarta Odd Semester TP. 2017/2018 The researcher conducted this research with the aim of improving mathematics learning outcomes in class IX-FSMP Negeri 80 Jakarta students in the odd semester of the 2017/2018 school year. The learning method chosen in an effort to improve learning outcomes is the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) cooperative learning method, in which students learn independently through teacher guidance. While the research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, testing, analyzing and reflecting. The instruments used are learning instruments and data collection instruments. The learning instruments are in the form of lesson plans, teaching materials and worksheets, while the data collection instruments are in the form of test and non-test instruments in the form of questionnaires and observation sheets. After following the learning process using the STAD Method for two cycles of Mathematics, the results showed a very significant increase in learning outcomes. This can be seen from the test results, namely the average value in the pre-cycle was 55.11, increased sharply to 75.05 in the first cycle, then increased again in the second cycle which reached 78.30. When compared between the average value in the pre-cycle and the end of the second cycle, the average value increased by 42%. The level of completeness (with a KKM of 75) also shows the same thing, namely in the pre-cycle at first it was only 29.73%, then jumped drastically to 72.97% in the first cycle and continued to increase to 86.49%. at the end of the second cycle. Thus the use of the STAD method, the level of completeness increased by 191% compared to using the conventional method used in the pre-cycle or before the research was conducte

    This research is mainly based on social issues on moral decrease among learners in Elementary Schools in Riau Province such as cheating habits, absences, bullying, student brawls and smoking habits as the effect of the disorganized educational system in developing the character building of learners. This research is aimed to assess how effective learning process in Social Studies in Secondary Schools through values-based social studies learning the Malay culture in secondary schools in developing social skills of learners in Riau Province. From educational philosophy perspective, lesson planning, learning process, and learning outcomes are integral parts. This research is conducted in CIPP model evaluation methods, purposive random sampling, and mixed methods. It is concluded that firstly, the grounding philosophy in values-based social studies learning the Malay culture in secondary schools in developing social skills of learners in Riau Province implementing the 2013 curriculum is mainly based on social reconstruction philosophy and progressive

    PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN KONSUMSI TABLET FE PADA IBU HAMIL

    Anemia   pada   ibu   hamil   berisiko meningkatkan kehamilan prematur, kematian ibu dan anak serta infeksi. Data tahun    2018   di    Indonesia    terdapat  sebanyak    48,9    %    ibu    hamil    yang mengalami anemia dan sebanyak 84,6% .Cakupan  pemberian tablet  tambah  darah  di  Indonesia  tahun 2019  adalah  64,0%  yang  masih  belum mencapai target Renstra tahun 2019 yaitu sebanyak  98%.  Untuk  Kalimantan  Barat, data  cakupan  pemberian  tablet  tambah darah yaitu sebesar 89,7 %. Metode yang digunakan untuk dapat mencapai target dari kegiatan ini adalah dengan cara pendekatan, penyuluhan, dan pelayanan konseling gratis. Dengan demikian masyarakat akan mendapatkan pelayanan malalui berbagai rangkaian kegiatan yang menunjang peningkatan kualitas kesehatan dan pendidikan masayrakat tentunya. Luaran akhir dari kegiatan ini adalah ibu hamil  memahami anemia cara konsumsi tablet Fe dengan benar. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dan konseling pada ibu hamil didaptkan peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang cara konsumsi tablet Fe dalam kehamilan sehingga dapat mencegah anemia dalam kehamilan. Diharapkan kegiatan penyuluhan dan konseling pada ibu hamil tentang cara konsumsi tablet Fe ini dapat dilaksanakan berkesinambungan oleh petugas kesehatan
