(1600x1600 pixels at 700 fps). According to the calculations involved, the solutions must consider to run on specialized
hardware as Graphical Processing Units (GPUs) or Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), among others.
In the case of a Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor is finally selected, the wavefront slopes can be computed using
centroid or correlation algorithms. Most of the developments are designed using centroid algorithms, but precision ought
to be taken in account too, and then correlation algorithms are really competitive.
This paper presents an FPGA-based wavefront slope implementation, capable of handling the sensor output stream in a
massively parallel approach, using a correlation algorithm previously tested and compared to the centroid algorithm.
Time processing results are shown, and they demonstrate the ability of the FPGA integer arithmetic in the resolution of
AO problems.
The selected architecture is based in today’s commercially available FPGAs which have a very limited amount of
internal memory. This limits the dimensions used in our implementation, but this also means that there is a lot of margin

An instrumental puzzle: the modular integration of AOLI
The Adaptive Optics Lucky Imager, AOLI, is an instrument developed to deliver
the highest spatial resolution ever obtained in the visible, 20 mas, from
ground-based telescopes. In AOLI a new philosophy of instrumental prototyping
has been applied, based on the modularization of the subsystems. This modular
concept offers maximum flexibility regarding the instrument, telescope or the

Relación de la calidad de vida profesional y el burnout en médicos de atención primaria
ObjetivoConocer la relación, si es que la hay, entre la calidad de vida profesional (CVP) y burnout de facultativos de atención primaria.DiseñoEstudio transversal mediante cuestionario CVP-35 y MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory), por correo postal.ÁmbitoTres centros urbanos y 3 zonas de atención rural. Participó un total de 131 profesionalesMedicionesDel CVP-35 se obtienen puntuaciones que van de 0 (mínimo) a 10 (máximo). El cuestionario Maslach clasifica en nivel alto, medio y bajo de cada dimensión.ResultadosContestó a la encuesta el 71,7%. La edad media era de 44 años y la media de tarjetas sanitarias, 1.339. El número de consultas/día fue de 37; en cuanto las visitas domiciliarias, realizaban una diaria. El valor medio de la CVP fue de 4,48 (intervalo de confianza [IC] del 95%, 4,08-4,88). La percepción de la demanda tuvo una puntuación de 5,9 (IC del 95%, 5,6-6,1); la motivación intrínseca del profesional se situó en 6,5 (IC del 95%, 6,2-6,7) y el apoyo de los directivos en 3,8 (IC del 95%, 3,6-4,1). En cuanto al cuestionario MBI, se observó una despersonalización alta en el 54,3%, cansancio emocional alto en un 56,2% y realización personal alta en el 9,3%. La correlación mayor fue entre las demandas en el puesto y el cansancio emocional (r=0,6; p<0,0001), la motivación intrínseca y la realización personal (r=0,46; p<0,0001) y la calidad de vida profesional frente al cansancio emocional (r=−0,4; p<0,0005).ConclusionesLa CVP y el burnout miden dimensiones diferentes pero relacionadas. Por tanto, su utilidad es diferente en función de los objetivos. MBI: high depersonalization 54.3%, emotional exhaustion (r=0.6; P<.0001), intrinsic motivation, and personal accomplishment (r=0.46; P<.0001) and profesional quality of life front emotional fatigue (r= −0.4; P<.0005).ConclusionsCPL and burnout measure different but related dimensions. High spatial resolution optical imaging of the multiple T Tauri system LkH{\alpha} 262/LkH{\alpha} 263
We report high spatial resolution i' band imaging of the multiple T Tauri
system LkH 262/LkH 263 obtained during the first commissioning
period of the Adaptive Optics Lucky Imager (AOLI) at the 4.2 m William Herschel
Telescope, using its Lucky Imaging mode. AOLI images have provided photometry
for each of the two components LkH 263 A and B (0.41 arcsec separation)
and marginal evidence for an unresolved binary or a disc in LkH 262.
The AOLI data combined with previously available and newly obtained optical and
infrared imaging show that the three components of LkH 263 are
co-moving, that there is orbital motion in the AB pair, and, remarkably, that
LkH 262-263 is a common proper motion system with less than 1 mas/yr
relative motion. We argue that this is a likely five-component gravitationally
bounded system. According to BT-settl models the mass of each of the five
components is close to 0.4 M and the age is in the range 1-2 Myr. The
presence of discs in some of the components offers an interesting opportunity
to investigate the formation and evolution of discs in the early stages of
multiple very low-mass systems. In particular, we provide tentative evidence

A counterfactual impact evaluation of a bilingual program on students’ grade point average at a spanish university
This observational study intends to estimate the causal effects of an English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI)
program (as predictor) on students Grade Point Average (GPA) (as outcome) at a particular University in Spain
by using a Counterfactual Impact Evaluation (CIE). The need to address the crucial question of causal inferences
in EMI programs to produce credible evidences of successful interventions contrasts, however, with the absence
of experimental or quasi-experimental research and evaluation designs in the field. CIE approach is emerging as
a methodologically viable solution to bridge that gap. The program evaluated here consisted in delivering an
EMI program in a Primary Education Teacher Training Degree group. After achieving balance on the observed
covariates and recreating a situation that would have been expected in a randomized experiment, three matching
approaches such as genetic matching, nearest neighbor matching and Coarsened Exact Matching were used to
analyze observational data from a total of 1288 undergraduate students, including both treatment and control
group. Results show unfavorable effects of the bilingual group treatment condition. Potential interpretations and
recommendations are provided in order to strengthen future causal evidences of bilingual education programs’

Percepción sobre las vacunas y nivel de conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas hacia la COVID-19 en adultos mayores de Lima, Perú
El objetivo fue describir la percepción sobre las vacunas y el nivel de conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas hacia la COVID-19 en adultos mayores que acuden a un hospital en Lima, Perú. Estudio descriptivo y transversal de marzo a noviembre del 2021. Se adaptó y validó un instrumento para medir el nivel de conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas, y se evaluó la percepción sobre vacunas con un cuestionario exploratorio. Se encuestaron a 83 adultos mayores, la media de edad fue 74,0 años y el 62,7% fueron mujeres. La mayoría conoce la causa y síntomas, y el 50,6% cree que puede transmitirse por alimentos contaminados. El 61,7% usa medicina tradicional para prevenirla, y el 65,4% considera insuficiente el nivel de conciencia social. El 91,5% se vacunó contra la COVID-19, y el 65,4% considera que estas vacunas son seguras. En conclusión, la mayoría de los adultos mayores presenta un alto nivel de conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas y una percepción positiva sobre la vacuna contra la COVID-19
