Profil USAha Nasi Kuning di Kecamatan Tuminting Kota Manado (Studi Kasus Nasi Kuning Ci\u27 Ida)
The aim of this study was to determine the profile of the business yellow rice in District Tuminting, Manado City. The business profile is limited to the amount of profit earned. The study was conducted in Yellow Rice Ci\u27Ida Tuminting District of Manado City. Data were collected by interview directly with the owners of yellow rice. Variables are calculated for characteristic of entrepreneurs, age, education, long sought, establishment, the owners of capital, organization structure, licensing, production, product type, production process, type of production, packaging and sales, raw materials, labor, buildings and equipment. Yellow rice effort Ci \u27Ida is a small business has been operating since 1962 using its own capital and maintain recipes from parents. The yellow rice businesses serve customers every day from 07.00- 11:00 am and 05:00 to 10:00 p.m.. The amount of raw materials used rice ranges between 8-12 kg. On Saturday and Sunday is the highest demand. The highest demand on the benefits obtained is Rp 445 039 per day
The Unique Neonatal NK Cells: A Critical Component Required for Neonatal Autoimmune Disease Induction by Maternal Autoantibody
Human maternal autoantibodies can trigger autoimmune diseases such as congenital heart block in the progeny of women with lupus or Sjogren’s disease. The pathogenic effect of early autoantibody exposure has been investigated in a murine neonatal autoimmune ovarian disease (nAOD) model triggered by a unique ZP3 antibody. Although immune complexes are formed in adult and neonatal ovaries, ZP3 antibody triggers severe nAOD only in <7 day-old neonatal mice. Propensity to nAOD is due to the uniquely hyper-responsive neonatal NK cells that lack the inhibitory Ly49C/I receptors. In nAOD, the neonatal NK cells directly mediate ovarian inflammation and oocyte depletion while simultaneously promoting de novo pathogenic ovarian-specific T cell responses. Resistance to nAOD in older mice results from the emergence of the Ly49C/I+ NK cells that regulate effector NK cells and from CD25+ regulatory T cell control. In preliminary studies, the ovarian resident FcgRIII+ macrophages and/or dendritic cells were found to be as indispensable players. Activated by ovarian immune complexes, they migrate to lymphoid organs where NK cell priming occurs. Remarkably, the findings in nAOD are very similar to those reported for neonatal responses to a retrovirus and its cognate antibody that lead to long-lasting immunity. Studies on nAOD therefore provide insights into maternal autoantibody-mediated neonatal autoimmunity, including congenital heart block, while simultaneously uncovering new properties of the neonatal innate and adaptive responses, lethality of premature infant infection, and novel neonatal antiviral vaccine design
Succinct Representations for Abstract Interpretation
Abstract interpretation techniques can be made more precise by distinguishing
paths inside loops, at the expense of possibly exponential complexity.
SMT-solving techniques and sparse representations of paths and sets of paths
avoid this pitfall. We improve previously proposed techniques for guided static
analysis and the generation of disjunctive invariants by combining them with
techniques for succinct representations of paths and symbolic representations
for transitions based on static single assignment. Because of the
non-monotonicity of the results of abstract interpretation with widening
operators, it is difficult to conclude that some abstraction is more precise
than another based on theoretical local precision results. We thus conducted
extensive comparisons between our new techniques and previous ones, on a
variety of open-source packages.Comment: Static analysis symposium (SAS), Deauville : France (2012
A fixed point theorem for multifunctions and an application
The main result is a fixed point theorem for compositions of chain faithful multifunctions (Corollary 2.3). The theorem is then applied to get sufficient conditions for the fixed point property of the product of two partially ordered sets.Peer Reviewedhttp://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/45583/1/12_2005_Article_BF01195267.pd
Climate change affecting oil palm agronomy, and oil palm cultivation increasing climate change, require amelioration
Palm oil is used in various valued commodities and is a large global industry worth over US$ 50 billion annually. Oil palms (OP) are grown commercially in Indonesia and Malaysia and other countries within Latin America and Africa. The large-scale land-use change has high ecological, economic, and social impacts. Tropical countries in particular are affected negatively by climate change (CC) which also has a detrimental impact on OP agronomy, whereas the cultivation of OP increases CC. Amelioration of both is required. The reduced ability to grow OP will reduce CC, which may allow more cultivation tending to increase CC, in a decreasing cycle. OP could be increasingly grown in more suitable regions occurring under CC. Enhancing the soil fauna may compensate for the effect of CC on OP agriculture to some extent. The effect of OP cultivation on CC may be reduced by employing reduced emissions from deforestation and forest degradation plans, for example, by avoiding illegal fire land clearing. Other ameliorating methods are reported herein. More research is required involving good management practices that can offset the increases in CC by OP plantations. Overall, OP-growing countries should support the Paris convention on reducing CC as the most feasible scheme for reducing CC.Portuguese Foundation for Science and

Using Bounded Model Checking to Focus Fixpoint Iterations
Two classical sources of imprecision in static analysis by abstract
interpretation are widening and merge operations. Merge operations can be done
away by distinguishing paths, as in trace partitioning, at the expense of
enumerating an exponential number of paths. In this article, we describe how to
avoid such systematic exploration by focusing on a single path at a time,
designated by SMT-solving. Our method combines well with acceleration
techniques, thus doing away with widenings as well in some cases. We illustrate
it over the well-known domain of convex polyhedra
Ambivalence towards discourse of disaster resilience
This paper investigates empirically how the international aid community (IAC)—donors and practitioners—considers and implements disaster resilience in a specific country setting, Nepal, and throughout the rest of the world. A key finding is that there is ambivalence about a concept that has become a discourse. On a global level, the IAC utilises the discourse of resilience in a cautiously positive manner as a bridging concept. On a national level, it is being used to influence the Government of Nepal, as well as serving as an operational tool of donors. The mythical resilient urban community is fashioned in the IAC's imaginary; understanding how people create communities and what type of linkages with government urban residents desire to develop their resilience strategies is missing, though, from the discussion. Disaster resilience can be viewed as another grand plan to enhance the lives of people. Yet, regrettably, an explicit focus on individuals and their communities is lost in the process
