O COMÉRCIO INFORMAL, POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS E TERRITÓRIO URBANO MOSSOROENSE

Consiste num estudo de cunho teórico e empírico que objetiva analisar a relação conflituosa entre o Estado e os comerciantes informais – os camelôs – na cidade de Mossoró (Rio Grande do Norte), tomando por base a discussão do conceito de território, enquanto espaço apropriado a partir de relações de poder, e a relação entre as políticas públicas e sua contribuição para a configuração do território. Constata que a atividade comercial informal tem se apropriado dos espaços públicos do centro urbano em tela, contrapondo-se a leis e normas urbanísticas vigentes. Essa apropriação ilegal tem sido a força motriz e impulsora dos conflitos ocorridos entre o Estado e os camelôs na urbe mossoroense. Aponta que não é apenas essa dinâmica que alimenta esse impasse Estado x Camelôs, havendo outras forças e jogos de interesses envolvidos nesse processo - que sobrepuja o cumprimento (ou não) das regras urbanísticas. Resulta de um estudo desenvolvido por meio da leitura de materiais teórico-conceituais, que abordam a discussão de território e de políticas públicas, bem como documentos oficiais normativos, os quais se fizeram o aporte teórico para a análise da realidade do território urbano mossoroense, através de pesquisa de campo em seu núcleo urbano (observação da dinâmica citadina)

Tomografia computadorizada como instrumento para diagnóstico precoce de ameloblastoma na infância: relato de caso: Computerized tomography as a tool for early diagnosis of ameloblastoma in childhood: case report

Introdução: A tomografia computadorizada de feixe cônico (TCFC) auxilia a investigação de processos patológicos na Odontopediatria, sendo fundamental na estratégia do tratamento cirúrgico. Objetivo: Relatar o caso clínico de uma criança com ameloblastoma abordando o uso da TCFC no diagnóstico e plano de tratamento. Relato de caso: Trata-se do relato do caso clínico de uma paciente de 11 anos de idade diagnosticada com ameloblastoma. A criança foi encaminhada para a equipe de Cirurgia e Traumatologia Bucomaxilofacial das Obras Sociais Irmã Dulce, com dor e edema no lado esquerdo da face. Ao exame intraoral, observou-se dentição mista com higiene bucal satisfatória, bem como oclusão dentária classe I. A radiografia panorâmica evidenciou a presença de imagem radiolúcida com margens bem definidas, unilocular, associada a coroa do dente 37, com deslocamento dessa unidade em direção ao 36. Além disso, foi possível perceber o deslocamento da unidade 38 para a incisura mandibular. Na análise da TCFC, observou-se a expansão das corticais ósseas com afilamento e perfuração, evidenciando o caráter agressivo da lesão de extensão 30,0 x 26,0 x 57,85 mm. O diagnóstico de ameloblastoma do tipo plexiforme foi elucidado pelo exame anatomopatológico. Conclusão: A partir dessa análise proporcionada pela tomografia, foi possível constatar o caráter agressivo da lesão e o comprometimento dos tecidos ósseos circundantes e dentes adjacentes, orientando com precisão o plano de tratamento cirúrgico. O diagnóstico precoce e o conhecimento sobre a extensão das lesões são importantes para que haja um tratamento adequado e melhor prognóstico

Impactos da COVID-19 na saúde mental dos profissionais de enfermagem: revisão integrativa: Impacts of COVID-19 on the mental health of nursing professionals: integrative review

O objetivo foi descrever os impactos da pandemia da Covid-19 na saúde mental dos profissionais de enfermagem, a partir da literatura científica. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de revisão integrativa de natureza descritiva, exploratória e qualitativa. A busca se deu a partir das bases de dados, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde do Ministério da Saúde (BVS), Literatura Latino-americana do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e Scientific Eletronic Libray Online(Scielo). A amostra final compôe-se por oito artigos que atendem aos critérios estabelecidos, entre os anos de 2020 e 2022, por meio de descritores e operadores boleanos. Observou-se que os impactos mentais como, ansiedade, depressão, estresse ocupacional e burnout foram frequentemente apontados nos estudos, mediante a sensação de sobrecarga, afastamento do convívio social e atuação em ambientes insalubres com falta de equipamentos e treinamentos efetivos durante a assistência na pandemia. Tal fato demonstra que asaúde mental dos profissionais de enfermagem foi impactada negativamente e de maneiras diversas pela pandemia de Covid-19. Conclui-se a urgência no desenvolvimento e melhorias nas estratégias que minimizem o desgaste emocional dos enfermeiros, mesmo em tempos não pandêmicos

The importance of Cone-Beam computed tomography in diagnosis of associated mandibular osteonecrosis: case report / A importância da TCFC no diagnóstico e prognóstico da osteonecrose mandibular associada aos bisfosfonatos: relato de caso clínico

The Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is very useful in diagnosis and treatment planning, as well as in the prognosis of osteonecrosis of the jaws. This study reports a clinical case of Bisphosphonate-Associated Mandibular Osteonecrosis from the perspective of CBCT. The patient, female, 83 years old, presented painful symptoms in the posterior region of the right mandible and reported Bisphosphonate medication for more than five years to treat osteoporosis and osteopenia. Based on clinical and CBCT imaging characteristics, the patient was diagnosed with Bisphosphonate-Associated Mandibular Osteonecrosis. Initially, the treatment consisted of oral antibiotic therapy, pain control, hyperbaric oxygenation and oral hygiene (mouthwashes). After 11 months of clinical therapy, CBCT revealed bone reconstruction of the buccal cortex, but also a hypodense imaging in the lingual cortex compatible with bone lysis and bone sequestration. The patient was referred for bone debridement and sequestrectomy. The histopathological diagnosis consisted of osteonecrosis with secondary acute osteomyelitis. After 60 days of the surgical procedure and hyperbaric sessions/systemic antibiotic therapy, an oral healthy mucosa in the region of the right mandibular body was evidenced in the intraoral examination. Cortical bone regeneration was observed on CBCT. Concluded that the use of CBCT, in this case report, makes it possible to estimate the extent of the lesion and the post-treatment outcome, assessing bone density, the presence of bone sequestration and the involvement of the involved areas. In fact, early diagnosis is essential for the success of the therapeutic approach

COMÉRCIO E SERVIÇOS NO ESPAÇO URBANO REGIONAL

Texto apresentado em mesa de debate durante a realização do III Seminário Regional sobre comércio, consumo e cultura nas cidades, ocorrido em Sobral-CE. Tem como objetivo principal discutir as mudanças no espaço urbanorregional decorrentes da dinâmica das atividades de comércio e serviços, vivenciada em cidades do Nordeste brasileiro. Como vetores principais dessas mudanças foram considerados: o fortalecimento da economia das cidades, a expansão dos serviços de saúde e a expansão do ensino técnico e universitário. A análise dos referidos vetores, orientada por leituras e pesquisas empíricas realizadas em cidades nordestinas, principalmente em cidades do Rio Grande do Norte, conduziu a reflexões de caráter conclusivo que aponta para a redefinição dos papeis urbanos das cidades médias e pequenas. Essa redefinição, apoiada na dinâmica do comércio e dos serviços, favorece a reprodução do capital que, por meio da dialética homogeneização/diferenciação, cria e recria as condições favoráveis à produção capitalista do espaço.Palavras-chaves: Comércio; Serviços; Dinâmica urbanorregional. ABSTRACTText presented at a discussion table during the III Regional Seminar on trade, consumption and culture in cities, held in Sobral-CE. Its main objective is to discuss changes in the urban-regional space resulting from the dynamics of trade and services activities, experienced in cities in the Brazilian Northeast. As main vectors of these changes were considered: the strengthening of the economy of the cities, the expansion of health services and the expansion of technical and university education. The analysis of these vectors, guided by readings and empirical researches carried out in Northeastern cities, mainly in cities of Rio Grande do Norte, led to conclusive reflections that point to the redefinition of the urban roles of medium and small cities. El análisis de los referidos segmentos, orientada por lecturas e investigaciones empíricas realizadas en ciudades nordestinas, principalmente en ciudades del Río Grande del Norte, condujo a la reflexiones de carácter conclusivo que apunta para la redefinición de las funciones urbanos de las ciudades medias y pequeñas. O urbano no Rio Grande do Norte: uma realidade diversa

The objective of this article is to understand the fragmentation of the territory from a political-administrative perspective and the dynamics of the formation of cities in Rio Grande do Norte and, therefore, show the urban that presents itself as a result of this fragmentation. The article is based on the idea that the territory of the Potiguar fragmented under the influence of two well-defined dynamics: one related to traditional economies such as sugar cane, livestock and agriculture; and another politic, articulated to the interests of oligarchies and local political groups that used the process of creating municipalities to establish their electoral territories. The reflections exposed in the text resulted from the dialogue undertaken with the bibliography related to the topic, as well as authors who discuss the reality of the RN and the result of research that we carry out in the context of the academy. The results of the research showed that the process of fragmentation of the territory supported by the indicated vectors produced a diverse urban network, marked by the presence of an expressive number of cities with less than twenty thousand inhabitants, of few cities with intermediate functions that assume important roles In the urban-regional context, and the presence of two urban-regional centralities represented by Natal, the capital of the RN and by Mossoró the second largest city, located in the west of the state. However, this configuration of the potiguar urban network did not inhibit the emergence of an urban reality that, through developed social and spatial practices, articulates with the reproduction of the contemporary world as totality

Urban planning and social equipment in small cities in Rio Grande do Norte.

Analisa o planejamento de equipamentos de saúde, de educação e de lazer nas pequenas cidades do RN, tendo sua base na pesquisa: “Planejamento, Gestão do território e desenvolvimento socioespacial nas pequenas cidades do Rio Grande do Norte- RN”. A pesquisa investigou a lógica de funcionamento das pequenas cidades, considerando as ações de planejamento e de gestão territorial, sendo orientada pelo questionamento: como ocorre o planejamento de equipamentos de educação, de saúde e de lazer nas pequenas cidades do RN? A análise qualitativa e a quantitativa, subsidiaram a pesquisa documental e a empírica. O trabalho nos mostrou que as pequenas cidades do RN apresentam um quadro econômico precário, com parcos recursos financeiros, oriundos, basicamente, do Fundo de Participação dos Municípios (FPM), ficando o planejamento urbano e as políticas públicas dependerem de emendas parlamentares, que nem sempre atendem às necessidades da população, comprometendo, a reprodução social em bases democrática e cidadã.Analyze the healthy, education and leisure equipments planning in the RN small cities, centered in the research “Planning, Management of Territory and socioespacial development in the Rio Grande do Norte-RN small cities”. The research investigated the working logical of the small cities, considering both planning actions and territorial’s management, being oriented by the question: how the healthy, education and leisure equipments planning in the RN small cities? The quantitative and qualitative analyze supported the bibliographic and documental research. The work has shown to us that RN small cities shows a precarious economic frame, with meager financial resources, which are originated, basically, from “Municipal Participate Found” (FPM), getting the urban planning and policies submitted to parliamentary amendment, which not always are destined to real needs of the population, committing, thus, an social reproduction in democratic and citizen bases

Trata-se de um artigo que se propõe a relatar as ações de capacitação de comunidades para a discussão e a efetivação de propostas voltadas para o desenvolvimento local, tendo por referência as dimensões cultural e ambiental nos municípios de Pureza e Vera Cruz que, embora situados em diferentes microrregiões geográficas, apresentam uma realidade muito próxima. A referência metodológica utilizada foi a da pesquisa-ação, por tratar-se daquela que melhor respondeu às demandas propostas pela indissociabilidade entre o ensino, a pesquisa e a extensão; além de permitir a multidisciplinaridade e a troca de conhecimentos entre o saber universitário e o saber popular.It is a paper that proposes to describe the actions of empowering communities for discussion and execution of proposals aimed at the local development, with reference to the cultural and environmental dimensions in the cities of Vera Cruz and Pureza that, although located in different micro geographic regions, have a very similar reality.
