    Strategic planning is not only applied in business, but also already implemented in public organizations such Social Departement of Tangerang, a technical institute of local government where the fundamental duty is to implement the preparation and execution of regional policy. Difficulties in projecting the future to face the changes that occur are the reason of the importance of strategic planning to solve the problem through programs and activities. The planning process is implemented properly will produce the right and excellent programs in order to achieve organization goals, therefore the strategic planning process must be observed at every stage, started from preparation until establishment so the organization is well prepared to face changes in the future. The preparation starts from presentation of the data and the determination of the role by analyzing the environment, until the strategic issue is attained in order to determine the right programs and activities. This study aims to analyze the strategic planning process in Social Departement of Tangerang in order to be evaluated at each steps of the plan in order to achieve the organization goal by using planned program and activity.     A quality service rated if already meet the satisfaction of its customers , if customers feel satisfied then these services could be said that quality. The rapid growth of Semarang city increase transportation necessity. The government of semarang city hold public transport based on fast with the fare affordable, such as bus rapid transit (BRT) Trans Semarang but BRT Trans Semarang service corridor IV is still not optimal. There are many problems in several factors like time for a long wait for the bus, the officers in shelters, the complete facilities and infrastructure, lack of priorities for users who have special needs and the officer's behavior to passengers. The author using a technique quantitative data analysis using mean to find the average score the implementation level service performance and the average level of the interests of service. There are 15 service element used as a material assessment of performance and the interests of service are the clarity, the ability of officers, the responsibility of the officers, discipline of officers, courtesy and kindness officers, procedures, the convenience of the environment, the terms of service, security, get the service of justice, the completeness of facilities and infrastructure, the certainty of cost, the speed of service, the schedule of certainty and reasonable costs. The average of service performance element is 2.80 so that an element that has the value of the average under that needs to be improved. While the average of interest element is 3,84 so that an element that has the value of the average above that need attention for its performance. Based on this research result that there are still some element of the services need to be the main priority in the repair because it is still poorly and is important that the courtesy and kindness comfort environment, the security services, fairness to get the service, the complete facilities and infrastructure and the service schedule

    This research aims to identify and assess the tourism development strategy undertaken by the department of tourism and culture district of Jepara, and to recommend new strategies in Jepara district tourism development. Based on the results of the study indicate that tourism development strategy undertaken by the department op tourism and culture has not quite succeeded in Jepara district, while there are some indicators which is considered very successful, but more will be considered less successful writers. The conclusions of this study is the overall tourism development strategy Jepara District by the Department of Tourism and Culture District of Jepara has not succeeded. The writers recommends strategies to improve the strategy has not been successful

    This research is a qualitative research motivated by the National Program for Urban Community Empowerment (PNPM Mandiri Perkotaan) that still experience difficulties to reducing poverty in Indonesia. The research is focused on the implementation of PNPM Mandiri Perkotaan in Winong, Boyolali and it is influencing factors covering communication, resources, implementor dispotition, bureaucratic structure, implementing organizations, and socio-economic environment.The results showed that the PNPM Mandiri Perkotaan in Winong, Boyolali still less effective and also less positive impact on the development of community life caused by low levels of human resource and poor socialization. So it takes a strategy to improve the quality of human resources as well as good communication strategy in order to improve the welfare of the people in Winong

    Pertumbuhan kepemilikan kendaraan yang pesat dalam tahun-tahun terakhir ini memberikan tekanan yang cukup berat pada jaringan jalan dan alat pengatur lalu lintas. Peningkatan jumlah kendaraan bermotor mengakibatkan muncunyal beberapa dampak, salah satunya adalah peningkatan angka pelanggaran di jalan raya. Fenomena ini terjadi karena peningkatan jumlah sepeda motor tidak diiringi dengan peningkatan kesadaran dari masyarakat. Pelanggaran lalu lintas kian memprihatinkan, sehingga mengakibatkan peningkatan kecelakaan lalu lintas dengan korban meninggal ataupun luka-luka yang tidak sedikit. Oleh karena itu, pemerintah mengeluarkan Undang-Undang No. 22 tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan. Adapun tujuan dan sasarannya adalah untuk membina dan menyelenggarakan Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan yang aman, selamat, tertib, dan lancar.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi UU No. 22 tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan, khususnya pelaksanaan sosialisasi di kalangan siswa SMA Negeri 4 Magelang. Kemudian tujuan kedua adalah komunikasi dan sikap yang mempengaruhi implementasi UU ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan wawancara mendalam kepada narasumber, serta kuesioner sebagai pelengkap. Pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik acak (random sampling).Berdasarkan hasil penelitia dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi UU No. 22 tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan, khususnya sosialisasi di kalangan siswa SMA Negeri 4 Magelang belum sesuai dengan ketentuan yang ditetapkan. Saran untuk meminimalisir penyimpangan adalah hendaknya pemahaman petugas terhadap isi UU No. 22 tahun 2009 dan aturan pelaksanaannya perlu ditingkatkan, sehingga petugas memiliki dasar yang kuat dalam mengambil suatu keputusan, dan masyarakat memperoleh informasi yang memadai

    The increase in population has always been follow by the rapid construction of buildings and settlements. With the increasing density of settlements and bulidings, fire risk become higher. Competent authorities to prevent and deal with disaster fire firefighter is an institution. In Semarang competent institution os Fire Department of Semarang. This study was carried out based on the problems that occur in the implementation of programs and activities of the Fire Department of Semarang. the purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of Semarang Fire Department and identify factors supporting and inhibting performance Semarang Fire Department as a firefighter institution. Performance assessment Semarang Fire Department visits of inputs, service quality, efectiveness, and responsiveness. While the factors that affect the performance seen from the structure of the organization, cooperation, and infrastructure. This study used a qualitative descriptive informant derived from Semarang Fire Department employees and from people lived in Semarang. Based on research, the performance of Semarang Fire Department has not been optimal. Therfore, some recommendations can be given to optimizing the use of energy performance such as outsourching and additonal training and education to employees. Immediately prepare Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to minimize errors. Improved employee competence and completeness of infrastrucuture.
