The application of improving the quality of service is very much needed in this era of globalization. Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence-(MBCfPE) better known as the Baldrige Criteria is one method that can provide a solution to this problem. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management using the MBNQA criteria at the Isalam Faisal Hospital in Makassar. This type of research is a quantitative research using an observational study with a cross sectional study design. Collecting data in the form of a questionnaire. The sample in this study were all staff and leaders at the Faisal Islamic Hospital in Makassar, amounting to 258 respondents. The results showed, based on MNQA calculations, Faisal Islamic Hospital Makassar was at the Igood Performance level with a value of 738. The final conclusion of measuring the performance of Faisal Islamic Hospital Makassar with this score illustrates that the performance of Faisal Makassar Islamic Hospital is still not good. Therefore, proactive planning needs to be made and implemented, not only reactive to problems. It is suggested to the hospital management that it is necessary to conduct an evaluation using the PDCA cycle method, so that the strategic plan that has been made can be carried out effectively

In this paper, we conduct research by compiling an abridged life table using the graduation method based on real data obtained at Gegelang Village, West Lombok. The graduation methods used in this study included quadratic spline and Heligman-Pollard. Based on the results, a special case of A was chosen as a method used to make a rough life table before graduation. After the graduation process, it was found that the Heligman-Pollard method was the most suitable. This is based on the chart produced using this method, which is monotonous in nature and does not fluctuate like other graduation methods. In addition, the life expectancy obtained at 65.72 years is close to West Lombok's life expectancy based on 2015

Objective This study was aimed to describe the Makassar ethnic community's perception regarding pre-eclampsia in Gowa district. Methods This study used a descriptive phenomenological design; the respondents were the Makassar ethnic community in the SombaOpu and Bajeng Primary Health Care. The study began in May until July 2019 with 36 informants using non-probability sampling technique. Results People recognize as poisoning based on cultural perceptions adopted. For example, consuming shrimp, squid, crabs, moringa leaves, sitting in front of the door, and eating in bed. Conclusion Makassar ethnic perceptions about pre-eclampsia based on “taboo” or taboo during pregnancy

The Covid-19 pandemic is a period that must be passed by all groups without exception at this time. The significant impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has made all people pay attention to health anywhere and anytime. The transition period due to the existence of Covid-19, which is quite a concern, is checking body temperature when entering a place or building that contains a lot of mass such as shopping centres, offices, and so on. It is an obligation that cannot be avoided for the sake of safety and health for everyone. The examination of body temperature, in general, is through a thermometer close to the forehead. A few seconds later, the temperature measurement results will be seen through the display on the thermometer. Examinations like this are carried out alternately for each person so that there is a risk of mass accumulation in that place if the mass is in a sufficiently large state. Therefore, this research will provide a solution to reduce mass during body temperature checks by building a Smart Non-Contact Thermometer using the MLX90614 temperature sensor and face recognition technology assisted by a NodeMCU microcontroller. MLX90614 is a temperature sensor that can measure temperature remotely without making direct contact with the object to be measured. This sensor determines the temperature of an item by knowing the thermal radiation emitted by the object. Meanwhile, face recognition is a facial recognition technology that works by detecting human faces and scanning them in 2D or 3D. The microcontroller that helps integrate all components is the NodeMCU, which works as a data receiver from the MLX90614 sensor. The face recognition camera will then generate information in the form of a warning if someone has an above-average body temperature
