Liberation movement in Sumy region in 1917
Also positively to the Ukrainian Central Rada treated and military who were stationed in the Sumy region. This attitude to the Central Council was dominant among all Ukrainian population Sumy, evidence of archival documents. Generally, ukrainization positive effect on military discipline , because now the soldiers were on their own land and had to defend the homeland. Moreover, with the emergence of a new geopolitical map formation UNR , there urgently need to create their own army.Central Council, which consisted mostly of socialists considered it inappropriate to establish their own army. This political shortsightedness played a negative role in the war against Bolshevik forces in late 1917.Forming their own armed forces and armed groups took place «below», because of the energy and the desire of ordinary people who united the ranks of the Free Cossacks , originally performed militias function, and then in 1919 20s were the basis of the insurgency. Also enriched Ukrainian army of the former imperial army.Create Ukrainian voluntary groups went across the Sumy region in Gluhovschina, Shostkivschyna , Romenshchyna, Lebedynschyna .It may be noted that 1917 was a turning point for the Ukrainian state and Bolshevik’s aggression December 9, 1917 the catalyst through which began forming self Ukrainian peasant population.

Supercurrent noise in quantum point contacts
Spectral density of current fluctuations in a short ballistic superconducting
quantum point contact is calculated for arbitrary bias voltages . Contrary
to a common opinion that the supercurrent flow in Josephson junctions is
coherent process with no fluctuations, we find extremely large current noise
that is {\em caused} by the supercurrent coherence. An unusual feature of the
noise, besides its magnitude, is its voltage dependence: the noise decreases
with increasing , despite the fact that the dc current grows steadily with
. At finite voltages the noise can be qualitatively understood as the shot
noise of the large charge quanta of magnitude equal to the charge
transferred during one period of Josephson oscillations.Comment: 12 pages, revtex, 2 figures by fax/conventional mail upon reques
Theory of suppressed shot-noise at
We study the edge states of fractional quantum Hall liquid at bulk filling
factor with being an even integer and . We
describe the transition from a conductance plateau to
another plateau in terms of chiral Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid
theory. It is found that the fractional charge which appears in the
classical shot-noise formula is on the
conductance plateau at whereas on the plateau at
it is given by . For and an alternative hierarchy
constructions is also discussed to explain the suppressed shot-noise experiment
at bulk filling factor .Comment: Typos in Eqs. (5-7) correcte
Transport of a Luttinger liquid in the presence of a time dependent impurity
We show that the macroscopic current and charge can be formulated as a
Quantum Mechanical zero mode problem. We find that the current is given by the
velocity operator of a particle restricted to move around a circle. As an
explicit example we investigate a Luttinger liquid of length which is
perturbed by a time dependent impurity. Using the statistical mechanics of zero
modes we computed the non-equilibrium current. In particular we show that in
the low temperature limit, , the zero mode method introduced here
becomes essential for computing the current
Observation of structures at and MeV/c in the invariant mass spectra in pC, dC, and dCu collisions at of a few GeV/c per nucleon
The results of an analysis of the invariant mass spectra of photon pairs
produced in dC, pC and dCu interactions at momenta of 2.75, 5.5 and 3.83 GeV/c
per nucleon respectively, are presented. Signals in the form of enhanced
structures at invariant masses of about 17 and 38 MeV/c2 are observed. The
results of testing of the observed signals, including the results of the Monte
Carlo simulation are presented. The test results support the conclusion that
the observed signals are the consequence of detection of the particles with
masses of about 17 and 38 MeV/c2 decaying into a pair of photons.Comment: arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:0806.279
Liquid crystal anchoring transitions on aligning substrates processed by plasma beam
We observe a sequence of the anchoring transitions in nematic liquid crystals
(NLC) sandwiched between the hydrophobic polyimide substrates treated with the
plasma beam. There is a pronounced continuous transition from homeotropic to
low tilted (nearly planar) alignment with the easy axis parallel to the
incidence plane of the plasma beam (the zenithal transition) that takes place
as the exposure dose increases. In NLC with positive dielectric anisotropy, a
further increase in the exposure dose results in in-plane reorientation of the
easy axis by 90 degrees (the azimuthal transition). This transition occurs
through the two-fold degenerated alignment characteristic for the second order
anchoring transitions. In contrast to critical behavior of anchoring, the
contact angle of NLC and water on the treated substrates monotonically declines
with the exposure dose. It follows that the surface concentration of
hydrophobic chains decreases continuously. The anchoring transitions under
consideration are qualitatively interpreted by using a simple phenomenological
model of competing easy axes which is studied by analyzing anchoring diagrams
of the generalized polar and non-polar anchoring models.Comment: revtex4, 18 pages, 10 figure
Proposal For A Quantum Hall Pump
A device is proposed that is similar in spirit to the electron turnstile
except that it operates within a quantum Hall fluid. In the integer quantum
Hall regime, this device pumps an integer number of electrons per cycle. In the
fractional regime, it pumps an integer number of fractionally charged
quasiparticles per cycle. It is proposed that such a device can make an
accurate measurement of the charge of the quantum Hall effect quasiparticles.Comment: 4 pages, LaTeX, 4 figures include
Low frequency admittance of a quantum point contact
We present a current and charge conserving theory for the low frequency
admittance of a quantum point contact. We derive expressions for the
electrochemical capacitance and the displacement current. The latter is
determined by the {\em emittance} which equals the capacitance only in the
limit of vanishing transmission. With the opening of channels the capacitance
and the emittance decrease in a step-like manner in synchronism with the
conductance steps. For vanishing reflection, the capacitance vanishes and the
emittance is negative.Comment: 11 pages, revtex file, 2 ps figure
