In the title centrosymmetric dinuclear dioxidovanadium(V) complex, [V2(C13H19N2O3)2O4], the VV ion is coordinated by an N,N′,O-tridendate 2-ethoxy-6-{[2-(2-hydroxyethylamino)ethylimino]methyl}phenolate ligand and three oxide O atoms, forming a distorted cis-VN2O4 octahedral geometry. The bridging O atoms show one short and one long bond to their two attached VV atoms. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring of the ligand and the V2O2 plane is 75.2 (3)°. The deviation of the VV ion from the plane defined by the three donor atoms of the tridentate ligand and one bridging oxide O atom is 0.337 (2) Å towards the terminal oxide O atom. Two N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds help to establish the conformation of the dimer. In the crystal, the complex molecules are linked by O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming [100] chains

In terms of unusual crimes, terrorism is one of the most heinous acts. One only needs to look at the crimes that have been committed across national borders to recognize how devastating they can be for the victims and their families. The research method employed in this study is a combination of the Statute Approach and the Literature Approach. Since there are a variety of criminal activities that have been branded as terrorist crimes yet their perpetrators' goals and backgrounds differ, there is no agreed-upon definition of terrorism, according to a study. As an example of a crime that has been condemned as an act of international terrorism at the national level, the WTO event of September 11, 2001, and the Bali Bombing incident of 2002 come to mind. Therefore, it is imperative that all parties, including legal professionals, agree on the limitations of terrorism, as well as work together to prevent this unique crime from occurring. Keywords: Terrorism; National Law; International law; Extraordinary Crim

Provide a Model for Improving Work Safety Value Using Fuzzy Performance Indicators: A Case Study of Small Scale Power Plant

Today, occupational accidents, like one of the substantial agents in the damage of efficient human resources, money and time, are considered a menace to the extension and improvement of each state. These accidents have a massive stroke on the productivity of the laborer of different industries and eventually in the economy of society. The purpose of this study is to provide a model to improve safety value, according to productivity indicators in manufacturing industries. In most studies, the cost of each damage has often been used for the calculation of the safety-related costs in the workplace, and this important issue is still neglected despite the high impact of job productivity loss due to occupational accidents. hence, on the present etude, the multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) method has been used to present a model to improve the safety value according to the proposed solutions. The results showed that among the studied criteria, capital productivity had the most impact and holding classes and training courses for the workforce, according to the studied criteria was identified as the most appropriate solution to improve the value of safet

    {5,5′-Dimethoxy-2,2′-[1,1′-(2,2-dimethylpropane-1,3-diyldinitrilo)diethylidyne]diphenolato-κ4 O,N,N′,O′}copper(II) monohydrate

The tetradentate dianion in the title complex hydrate, [Cu(C23H28N2O4)]·H2O, provides the CuII atom with a cis-N2O2 donor set. There is a significant twist from a regular square-planar geometry with the dihedral angle formed between the two six-membered CuOC3N chelate rings being 32.14 (8)°. The water molecule forms hydrogen bonds to each of the coordinating O atoms of a given complex molecule. Supramolecular layers in the bc plane are formed in the crystal packing through C—H⋯O and C—H⋯π interactions

In the title compound, [Ni(C19H18Br2N2O2)], the NiII ion, lying on a twofold rotation axis, is coordinated by two N atoms and two O atoms from the Schiff base ligand in a distorted square-planar geometry. Weak intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal structure

Molecules of the title compound, C23H30N2O4, are located on a crystallographic mirror plane. The molecule has a curved shape with the dihedral angle formed between the two benzene rings being 55.26 (5)°. Intramolecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds are noted. In the crystal, supramolecular layers are formed in the ac plane owing to the presence of C—H⋯π interactions

An Investigation of Family Therapy-Based Training on an Adolescent\u27s Self-Harm and Character Strengths

Background: The prevalence of non-suicidal self-injury has increased in adolescents. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of family therapy compared with treatment as usual in improving character strengths and reducing self-harm repetition in adolescents. Methods: The research was designed as semi-experimental with a pre-test, post-test, and control group. The statistical population was all students of Tehran\u27s middle schools with self-injury from October to September 2022. 53 eligible adolescents were selected purposefully. The participants were randomly divided into two groups: a family therapy counseling (n=27 people) and a control group (n=26 people). The experimental group received sixteen 75-min counseling sessions held weekly, while the control group underwent no interventions. Both groups received post-test evaluations following these sessions. Then, the Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory and Values in Action Inventory of Strengths scale (VIA-Youth) pre- and post-intervention were implemented. SPSS 24 used a multivariate analysis of the covariance (MANCOVA) version. Results: The effect of family therapy on the self-injury variable was significant (F=32.61; Pvalue<0.001). Also, the effect of family therapy on character strengths (F=24.81; Pvalue<0.001) was confirmed. In addition, it related the largest effect size to the self-injury variable (0.648), which shows that 64% of the total variances of the experimental and control groups result from a family therapy approach. Conclusions: The results showed that family therapy could effectively improve character strengths and reduce self-injurious behaviors in adolescents aged 13-16.
