Single Object Tracking System By Using Labview
Moving object detection is an interesting area in the field of video tracking. When the object is moving then tracking that is challenging task in vision area. This paper is about detecting, tracking of moving objects from the source. Many image processing methods to detect and track the moving object from the source was proposed, but those methods require more time to implement and is complex. This paper gives information about the moving object detection based on the tracking mean shift algorithm. LABVIEW vision module introduces a recent algorithm for object detection and tracking, in this algorithm current location is searched based on the histogram of the object in the previous image frame and result of mean shift is used to find the peak of probability density function near the object old position. Initial location of the target object need to be determined for this to work correctly. Mean shift is an effective algorithm that has so many application especially in the field of computer vision like clustering, object contour detection etc
Are the distributions of Fast Radio Burst properties consistent with a cosmological population?
High time resolution radio surveys over the last few years have discovered a
population of millisecond-duration transient bursts called Fast Radio Bursts
(FRBs), which remain of unknown origin. FRBs exhibit dispersion consistent with
propagation through a cold plasma and dispersion measures indicative of an
origin at cosmological distances. In this paper we perform Monte Carlo
simulations of a cosmological population of FRBs, based on assumptions
consistent with observations of their energy distribution, their spatial
density as a function of redshift and the properties of the interstellar and
intergalactic media. We examine whether the dispersion measures, fluences,
inferred redshifts, signal-to-noises and effective widths of known FRBs are
consistent with a cosmological population. Statistical analyses indicate that
at least 50 events at Parkes are required to distinguish between a constant
co-moving FRB density, and a FRB density that evolves with redshift like the

Portal protein functions akin to a DNA-sensor that couples genome-packaging to icosahedral capsid maturation.
Tailed bacteriophages and herpesviruses assemble infectious particles via an empty precursor capsid (or \u27procapsid\u27) built by multiple copies of coat and scaffolding protein and by one dodecameric portal protein. Genome packaging triggers rearrangement of the coat protein and release of scaffolding protein, resulting in dramatic procapsid lattice expansion. Here, we provide structural evidence that the portal protein of the bacteriophage P22 exists in two distinct dodecameric conformations: an asymmetric assembly in the procapsid (PC-portal) that is competent for high affinity binding to the large terminase packaging protein, and a symmetric ring in the mature virion (MV-portal) that has negligible affinity for the packaging motor. Modelling studies indicate the structure of PC-portal is incompatible with DNA coaxially spooled around the portal vertex, suggesting that newly packaged DNA triggers the switch from PC- to MV-conformation. Histological evaluation of placenta in hypertensive pregnancies
Background: Maternal and fetal status are reflected in placenta. Toxemia of pregnancy exerts great impact on placenta and thereby fetal and maternal outcomes. Placenta reflects changes of toxemia and these changes are seen morphology as well as histology. Hence study of placenta gives information on the in-utero fetal condition.Methods: A total of 1000 placenta, 500 each from hypertensive and normotensive groups were included in this study conducted in Anatomy Department of SBKS Medical College and Research Centre, Vadodara. Histological evaluation of the samples taken was done under microscope.Results: Microscopic examination of the placenta revealed the presence of calcification, infarction, fibrinoid necrosis, villous hyalinization, syncytial knots and cytotrophoblastic cellular proliferation in both control and hypertension groups. In the present study, calcification was seen in 35.8% in the control group, while the same was seen in 53.8% patients in test group. Fibrinoid necrosis was seen in 48.8% patients in control group as against 69% patients in test group. Villous Hyalinization was seen in 7.40% and 21.4% patients in control and test groups respectively. On the other hand, syncytial knots were seen in 38% and 69% patients in control and test groups respectively. In test group, cytotrophoblastic cellular proliferation was seen in 69% patients while in control group, it was seen in 33.2% patients. Infarction was also seen in test (42.4%) and control (12.6%) groups.Conclusions: Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy have significant effect on the histology of placenta and also influences the fetal outcomes
Productivity improvement of a computer hardware supply chain.
Abstract Purpose -To determine the key reverse logistics variables, which the top management should focus so as to improve the productivity and performance of computer hardware supply chains. Design/methodology/approach -In this paper, an interpretive structural modeling (ISM) based approach has been employed to model the reverse logistics variables typically found in computer hardware supply chains. These variables have been categorized under "enablers" and "results". The enablers are the variables that help boost the reverse logistics variables, while results variables are the outcome of good reverse logistics practices. Findings -A key finding of this modeling is that environmental concern is the primary cause of the initiation of reverse logistics practices in computer hardware supply chains. For better results, top management should focus on improving the high driving power enabler variables such as regulations, environmental concerns, top management commitment, recapturing value from used products, resource reduction, etc. Originality/value -In this research, an interpretation of reverse logistics variables in terms of their driving and dependence powers has been carried out. Those variables possessing higher driving power in the ISM need to be taken care on a priority basis because there are a few other dependent variables being affected by them. Variables emerging with high dependence contribute to productivity and performance of green supply chain
The Next Generation Non-competitive Active Polyester Nanosystems for Transferrin Receptor-mediated Peroral Transport Utilizing Gambogic Acid as a Ligand
The current methods for targeted drug delivery utilize ligands that must out-compete endogenous ligands in order to bind to the active site facilitating the transport. To address this limitation, we present a non-competitive active transport strategy to overcome intestinal barriers in the form of tunable nanosystems (NS) for transferrin receptor (TfR) utilizing gambogic acid (GA), a xanthanoid, as its ligand. The NS made using GA conjugated poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) have shown non-competitive affinity to TfR evaluated in cell/cell-free systems. The fluorescent PLGA-GA NS exhibited significant intestinal transport and altered distribution profile compared to PLGA NS in vivo. The PLGA-GA NS loaded with cyclosporine A (CsA), a model peptide, upon peroral dosing to rodents led to maximum plasma concentration of CsA at 6 h as opposed to 24 h with PLGA-NS with at least 2-fold higher levels in brain at 72 h. The proposed approach offers new prospects for peroral drug delivery and beyond
Antibacterial property of neem nanoemulsion against Vibrio anguillarium infection in Asian sea bass (Lates calcarifer)
1222-1226Fish vibriosis is among the most common diseases that is caused by a bacteria belonging to the genus Vibrio (Vibrio anguillarium). It causes considerable economic loss in the commercial cultivation of Asian sea bass (Lates calcarifer). The resistance of microorganisms to antibiotics has resulted in a growing need for developing a new antibacterial therapy that is effective in aquaculture. The aim of this study is to develop neem nanoemulsion with antibacterial activity against V. anguillarium to identify a possible alternative to the commonly used antibiotics in aquaculture. Neem nanoemulsion was prepared and the effectiveness was studied both in vitro and in vivo (agar well diffusion assay and artificial infection). Injection and immersion challenge of neem nanoemulsion formulated the fish less susceptible to V. anguillarium infection. The results confirmed the potential use of neem nanoemulsion as a source of antibacterial compounds or as a health-promoting medicine for fish culture
Host Galaxies Catalog Used in LIGO Searches for Compact Binary Coalescence Events
An up-to-date catalog of nearby galaxies considered as hosts of binary
compact objects is provided with complete information about sky position,
distance, extinction-corrected blue luminosity and error estimates. With our
current understanding of binary evolution, rates of formation and coalescence
for binary compact objects scale with massive-star formation and hence the
(extinction-corrected) blue luminosity of host galaxies. Coalescence events in
binary compact objects are among the most promising gravitational-wave sources
for ground-based gravitational-wave detectors such as LIGO. Our catalog and
associated error estimates are important for the interpretation of analyses,
carried out for LIGO, to constrain the rates of compact binary coalescence,
given an astrophysical population model for the sources considered. We discuss
how the notion of effective distance, created to account for the antenna
pattern of a gravitational-wave detector, must be used in conjunction with our
catalog. We note that the catalog provided can be used on other astronomical
