    Almighty Allah has given us two main objects in this world, i.e. Power of intelligence and resources to be utilized in an optimum way to fulfill our unlimited needs. Among all these natural and scarce resources, manpower resource is the most valuable one. That is why those countries having strong intelligent manpower rule over the whole world even though they are in lack of other natural resources as compare to the rest of the world. In this research an effort has been made to provide a frame work, which in turn, leads to optimal utilize the manpower resource. The aim of this study is to search out techniques to utilize the manpower resources in a best possible way with special reference to Lucky Cement Ltd and how it can be generalized. It is the liability of the human kind to dig out these natural secrets which are beneficial for the mankind and for the sustainable development as well. In this regard, the appropriate knowledge is the key to pursue the phenomenon. The most supreme and wise creation of the God is human kind to whom He has awarded a great sort of potentials. The human being possesses such type of processing unit, named as brain, through which he/she can manifest extra ordinary type of intelligence. Furthermore, it is the knowledge alone which can impart super intelligence to the mankind by which he/she can revolutionize any sector of economy.     Modelling the effect of access to information, political interest and policy satisfaction on youth online political participation in Malaysia

    The non-participation of youths in the politics of their nation is a global phenomenon. Yet not much research is being carried out in this area. Thus, this study conducted a cross sectional survey of 168 randomly selected Malaysian undergraduate students of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) to find out if Access to Information on Facebook and Twitter (APIFT), Political Interest (PI) and Policy Satisfaction (PS) leads to Online Political Participation on Facebook and Twitter (OPPFT). Data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modelling (PLSSEM). The results of this study revealed there is a significant positive relationship between APIFT, PI and OPPFT, however PS was not significantly related to OPPFT. This shows that while PS does not lead to OPPFT among youths in Malaysia, APIFT and PI promotes OPPFT among this group. Consequently, access to information and political interest could be used to engender Malaysian youth’s participation in politics. Aside empirically adding to the growing body of knowledge on political participation, this study has implication both in terms of theory and practice in the field of political communication

    This study is conducted to measure the influence of social media over the democratic behavior of the students. Social media is the main component of political participation in democratic societies and the study of democratic behavior is a highly specialized sub-field in political and social science. The study was concerned with the reasons that to what extent the social media play a significant role in promoting the democratic behavior of the students. The main objectives of the present study were to find out the factors like the social media which affect the democratic behavior of the students in Gomal University. A sample of 70 respondents (students) was selected by simple random technique from Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Specifically, this study explored the relationship of democratic behavior with social media and the other factors that had strong effect on democratic behavior. The results of the present study showed a diverse response of the student regarding the impact of social media on the democratic behavior.

    Frequency and Associated Factors for Care Giving among Elderly Patients Visiting a Teaching Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan

    Objective: To study frequency and associated factors for care giving among elderly Patients visiting a teaching hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. Methodology: A cross sectional questionnaire-based study was conducted at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) Karachi, Pakistan from September to November 2009. All individuals, visiting the CHC and aged 65 years or above were interviewed after taking written informed consent. Results: A total of 400 elderly completed the interview. Majority were females, 65-69 years age, More than half of the individuals ie: 227 (85%) had received Care Giver experience for assistance and among these 195(72%) had care provided by an immediate family member. A large proportion of them stated that their Care Givers managed to provide less than four hours in a day for care giving. Around 37% showed substantial improvement in their relationship with the care givers. About 70% of the respondents stated that the care provided by the Care Giver improved their quality of life. Conclusion: Elderly care is provided by majority of the family members resulting in increased satisfaction level, however small number still not satisfied due to unfulfilled need of these older people. This demands that efforts should be made to strengthen the family support by increasing awareness regarding elderly care and arranging support system by the government

    Aksesibilitas Kendaraan PribadiKendaraan pribadi adalah Moda transportasi yang dikhususkan untuk pribadi seseorang dan seseorang itu bebas menggunakannya kemana aja, kapan saja, dan dimana saja yang diinginkan atau tidak menggunakannya sama sekali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat aksesibilitas kendaraan pribadi baik roda empat maupun roda dua dari titik asal atau kelurahan tempat tinggal menuju kampus Universitas Negeri Makassar Gunungsari. Tingkat aksesibilitas dinilai berdasarkan tiga variabel yaitu jarak rute, waktu tempuh dan kecepatan kendaraan. Dimana untuk aksesibilitas rendah diberi nilai 1 (satu), menengah diberi nilai 2 (dua) dan aksesibilitas tinggi diberi nilai 3 (tiga). Sehingga jika dijumlah dari tiga variabel tadi akan diperoleh nilai akhir yang kemudian dikonversi menjadi tingkat aksesibilitas. Hasilnya diperoleh tingkat aksesibilitas yang bervariasi pada masing-masing rute. Selanjutnya, dilakukan uji komparatif antara tingkat aksesibilitas kendaraan pribadi roda dua dengan roda empat pada rute dan didapatkan hasil bahwa kendaraan roda dua memiliki aksesibilitas lebih tinggi dibandingkan kendaraan roda empat
