LHC data and cosmic ray coplanarity at superhigh energies
A new phenomenological model FANSY 2.0 is designed, which makes it possible
to simulate hadron interactions via traditional QGSM-type particle generation
as well as coplanar generation of most energetic particles, observed in cosmic
ray experiments. FANSY 2.0 reproduces a lot of LHC (ALICE, ATLAS, CMS, TOTEM,
LHCf) data. Results of model simulations are compared with LHC data. Problems

Tests for covariance matrices, particularly for high dimensional data
Test statistics for sphericity and identity of the covariance matrix are presented, when the data are multivariate normal and the dimension, p, can be larger than the sample size, n. The statistics, derived under very general conditions, follow an approximate normal distribution for large p, also when p >> n. Simulation results, particularly emphasizing the case when p can be much larger than n, show that the proposed statistics are accurate for both size control and power. A discussion of the commonly used assumptions for high dimensional set up is also given, with the conclusions applicable in general as well as in the special case of high dimensional covariance testing

This article seeks to add to the debate on the role of informal institutions on innovations within firms. It argues that social capital arising from informal institutions can either help innovation or inhibit it within small enterprises. The paper attempts to provide a conceptual framework of how social capital fosters innovation within small firms. Like physical and human capital, social capital is also considered an explanatory factor in theories of innovation. A traffic classification method using machine learning algorithm
Applying concepts of attack investigation in IT industry, this idea has been developed to design
a Traffic Classification Method using Data Mining techniques at the intersection of Machine
Learning Algorithm, Which will classify the normal and malicious traffic. This classification will
help to learn about the unknown attacks faced by IT industry. The notion of traffic classification
is not a new concept; plenty of work has been done to classify the network traffic for
heterogeneous application nowadays. Existing techniques such as (payload based, port based
and statistical based) have their own pros and cons which will be discussed in this
literature later, but classification using Machine Learning techniques is still an open field to explore and has provided very promising results up till now
Professional self-efficacy scale for information and computer technology teachers: validity and reliability study
This study aims at developing a valid and reliable scale to measure information and communication technology (ICT) teachers' self-efficacy related to the Turkish national framework of ICT competencies. For statistical procedures, data were respectively analyzed with exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Furthermore, test-retest procedure was carried out to confirm the time invariance of the scale. EFA results revealed that the scale's seven-factor structure accounts for 65.90 percent of total variance. CFA results produced an acceptable statistical support for model-data fit between the observed item scores and the seven-dimension scale structure (X-2/df = 1.98, RMSEA = .073, CFI = .86). The standardized regression weights between the latent and observed variables ranged from .57 to .89 and Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the scale sub-dimensions ranged from .80 to .88. Besides, the item-scale correlations varied between values of .53 and .79. As a result, the developed scale is a likert questionnaire and composed of 33 five-point items with seven sub-dimensions
PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BOLDING “BOLA BERGELINDING” PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK TEMA 8 SUBTEMA 1 MATERI NEGARA ASEAN KELAS VI SEKOLAH DASAR
Based on a needs analysis carried out by the author through observations
and interviews with class VI teachers and students at SD Negeri 2 Panggul, they
found a problem, namely the lack of learning media that suited the students'
characteristics. The teacher's learning process still uses the lecture method and does
not use learning media. Under these conditions, students experience difficulty in
understanding the material being studied and cannot be accepted well. Therefore,
class VI students hope that there will be learning media that is easy to understand
and able to provide an understanding of ASEAN country material
This research uses the steps contained in the ADDIE model (Analysis,
Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. This research data is in the form
of needs analysis results, validation results from material experts and media experts,
and user response results including students and teachers. Collection techniques The
data used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The
subjects of this research were class VI students at SDN 2 Panggul.
The results of the media expert validation test got a score percentage of
87%, and for the material validation test they got a score percentage of 71%.
Meanwhile, the results from student user responses reached 85%. Meanwhile, the
results from teacher user responses reached 84%. Based on the results of this
research, it can be concluded that the rolling ball media shows valid criteria and can
be used in the thematic learning process for theme 8 subtheme 1 material on
ASEAN countries in grade VI elementary school
