In this study, Co0.5Ni0.5-xMnxFe2O4 (x=0, 0.15, 0.25, 0.35, 0.5) ferrite nanoparticles were prepared by sol-gel auto-combustion method. Structural, magnetic and morphology properties of obtained nanoparticles were investigated with X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM), respectively. The XRD results show that the most dominant peaks for samples is related to the Spinel phase. Crystalline size using Scherrer's equation for different values of x were obtained between 44 to 64 nm. VSM results showed that the saturation magnetization and coercivity values changed with increasing Mn. TEM images obtained results are in good agreement with the XRD results

Growing of science and technology and extending of knowledge-based organizations, the development and maintenance of high-performance knowledge workers with high-potential will be very critical institutionally and nationally. This study aimed to explore the predictability of knowledge workers’ intention to stay through their work attitudes and beliefs including believe in reliability of managers, job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the context of the academic community of Iran. Standard questionnaires were used to measure the variables. In order to gather data, stratified random sampling of faculty members in colleges and higher education institutions in South Khorasan, was accomplished. The results obtained in method of path analysis with AMOS software show that believe of knowledge workers in reliability of managers and organizational commitment can anticipate intend to stay. Among them, trust in management has the strongest indirect effect on the intention to stay. Also, job satisfaction through organizational commitment can predict the intention to stay of knowledge workers

Significance of compressional tectonic on pore pressure distribution in Perth Basin

    Get PDF
The Perth Basin is one of the major tectonic structures along the western continental margin of Australia and was initially formed through the rifting and break-up of the Indian and Australian plates. The severe tectonic movements accompanied and occurred after the break-up are responsible for the most structural elements and for the distribution of pore pressure in the basin. Investigations on the well log data from the Perth Basin have identified shale intervals which are characterised as overpressured in some parts of the basin, whereas similar shale intervals found to be normally pressured in other parts of the basin. The phenomena of overpressure have frequently been reported while drilling the same intervals. Based on this research, sections with overpressure were observed in the majority of the wells in the basal section of the Kockatea shale where there were less tectonic activities have been recorded. Normal pore pressure was observed in shallower wells in the Kockatea shales which were located within uplifted sections that were more tectonically active areas. Based on the results of this research, the pore pressure distribution in the Kockatea Shale varied significantly from one part of the Perth Basin to another as a result of compressive tectonic stress. Compressional tectonic activities either induced fracturing in shallower localities (e.g. Beagle Ridge, Cadda Terrace and the adjacent terraces) or removed part of the Kockatea Shale as a result of faulting resulting in overpressures being released. Regions with less intensity of the tectonic activities showed an increase in pressure gradients as approaching away from the centre of uplift

Some classes of perfect strongly annihilating-ideal graphs associated with commutative rings

summary:Let RR be a commutative ring with identity and A(R)A(R) be the set of ideals with nonzero annihilator. The strongly annihilating-ideal graph of RR is defined as the graph SAG(R){\rm SAG}(R) with the vertex set A(R)∗=A(R)∖{0}A(R)^*=A(R)\setminus\{0\} and two distinct vertices II and JJ are adjacent if and only if I∩Ann(J)≠(0)I\cap {\rm Ann}(J)\neq (0) and J∩Ann(I)≠(0)J\cap {\rm Ann}(I)\neq (0). In this paper, the perfectness of SAG(R){\rm SAG}(R) for some classes of rings RR is investigated

Explaining the Competitiveness of West Azerbaijan Province with a Foresight Approach

Development is an important issue in the policy of developing countries such as Iran. In the meantime, paying attention to low-development areas, espite the high potentials, canbe considered in the direction of sustainable development, where competitiveness as a new approach tries to identify the capabilities of regions to emerge in the field of competitiveness. In this context, given that wehave entered the era of uncertainty, in order to maintain the status of survival and continuity, it is necessary to pay attention to the conditions and contexts of competitiveness. Therefore, the present study, withthe aim of explaining the competitivenessof West Azerbaijanprovince, has triedto identify theprimary and key factors affecting the competitivenessof the province, to identify possible competitiveness scenariosin thefuture horizon, nd finally the reasons for such scenarios to decide Appropriate actiontoimprove thecompetitivenessof the province, to lead the officials. For this purpose, 54 indicators in 4 dimensionsthat have been identifiedbasedonlibrary-field studies have beenanalyzedusing micmacsoftware, ScenarioWizardand IPA model. It should be noted that since the present study was basedon experts, the research sampleof 20 people was selected in a targeted manner (snowball).Theresultsof the research show that the competitiveness patternof West Azerbaijan province hasbeenunstable and the probable situation for the future of the province's competitiveness has been compatible scenarios with unfavorable scenarios having a higher realization rate, which is why Conditions have been less attention to high-quality indicators such as(investment security, resilience to infectious diseases, branding, free competitionand meritocracy, paving theway for the development of a creative society), while emphasizing on some indicators such as monopoly of production activities, export-import have  caused cost loss

Persuasive Strategies among Iranian EFL Learners

This study aimed to investigate the application of persuasive strategies among Iranian learners of English as a foreign language. To this end, 150 Iranian English learners took part in this study. The data were collected by means of a discourse completion test (DCT) consisting of 6 questions similar to real life persuasive situations. The Chi-square test was applied to compare the frequencies of persuasion strategies’ application among Iranian EFL learners. Moreover, the influence of gender on the preference of persuasive strategies by respondents was discussed. Results demonstrated some differences and similarities inutilization of this speech act by male and female Iranian learners. Finally, the results were discussed in the context of language teaching and learning.Key words: Interlanguage pragmatics; Speech act; Persuasion strategies; Iranian EFL leaner

Liquid loading in wellbores and its effect on cleanup period and well productivity in tight gas sand reservoirs

    Get PDF
Tight gas reservoirs normally have production problems due to very low matrix permeability and significant damage during well drilling, completion, stimulation and production. Therefore they might not flow gas to surface at optimum rates without advanced production improvement techniques. After well stimulation and fracturing operations, invaded liquids such as filtrate will flow from the reservoir into the wellbore, as gas is produced during well cleanup. In addition, there might be production of condensate with gas. The produced liquids when loaded and re-circulated downhole in wellbores, can significantly reduce the gas pro-duction rate and well productivity in tight gas formations. This paper presents assessments of tight gas reservoir productivity issues related to liquid loading in wellbores using numerical simulation of multiphase flow in deviated and horizontal wells. A field example of production logging in a horizontal well is used to verify reliability of the numerical simulation model outputs. Well production performance modelling is also performed to quantitatively evaluate water loading in a typical tight gas well, and test the water unloading techniques that can improve the well productivity. The results indicate the effect of downhole liquid loading on well productivity in tight gas reservoirs. It also shows how well cleanup is sped up with the improved well productivity when downhole circulating liquids are lifted using the proposed methods
