    Get PDF
Energy efficiency in cellular networks is growing and emerging concern for cellular operators and it is called green cellular networks. It not only maintain profitability, but also to reduce the overall environment effects to give a green environment. This raising trend of achieving energy efficiency in cellular networks depends upon the heterogeneous network deployment motivating the standardization authorities. Network operators to continuously explore future technologies in order to bring improvements to the whole network infrastructure to give good and green infrastructure to the word. The survey of this article, we present a brief survey of methods to improve the power efficiency of cellular networks, exploit some new research issues and challenges and suggestion of some techniques to enable an energy efficient or "green" cellular network. All the base stations absorbs maximum portion of the total energy used in a cellular system, we will first provide a comparative survey on techniques to obtain energy savings in base stations. This thesis is an International relations research in diplomacy studies study to describes the role of Commission of Truth and Friendship in normalizing bilateral relations between Indonesia and the Republic Demoratic Timor Leste. Commission was used as a facilitator to establish conclusive truths relating to events before and after the 1999 ballot and to promote reconciliation and friendship and ensure similar things did not happen in the future. This thesis used a pluralist perspective that views International relation not limited to relations between countries, but also relationships between individuals where the state is not always the main actor. This thesis hypothesis using the International organizational analysis level. In case the author used clive archer theory that the purpose of International organizations as arena can create prosperity through cooperation and collective action. The commssion of truth and friendship was formed from the agreement of Indonesia and the democratic republic of timor leste to find out the facts of human rights abuses throughout the history of east timor disintegration As well as reconciliation efforts that prioritize national interests through collective action to achieve common goals

[Title: Improvement Issuance Process To Reach Components On-Time Delivery in PT. United Tractors Pandu Engineering (UTPE)] PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering (UTPE) moves as an agent of heavy equipment (Heavy Equipment). Warehouse on PT. UTPE have a major role in maintaining the accuracy of stock and supply of goods into the production, as well as organize and maintain inventory warehouse. Warehouse conditions today have a process that is still a long Issuance by man hour high, namely 641 minutes. At the stage of the process Issuance highly influential component, namely the stages of preparing and searching for components. Placement, grouping, and identification of components in the system maintained at two locations, namely Warehouse Management (WM) and Inventory Management (IM) which has not been implemented and standardized well. The method is performed using Six Sigma DMAIC approach using SIPOC diagram to identify all the relevant elements in the Define phase. Analyze the process used in the Drilldown Tree Analysis to determine the root cause of the problem which then obtained some alternative solutions. Furthermore, Pareto diagram is used to determine where the most alternative solution needs to be done to produce the greatest benefits. The result, there are three main alternative solutions, which is improve storage bin, fixing the system to the WM, and re-layout storage location. Thirdly it is proven to speed up the delivery of components to production so that the production process is not hampered, and targeted delivery of products to consumers is reached

In re Harrods Ltd.: The Brussels Convention and the Proper Application of Forum Non Conveniens to Non-Contracting States

Although the doctrine of forum non conveniens is unknown in Continental legal systems, Community law does not prevent English courts from preserving their discretion to stay proceedings, in conflicts involving a defendant domiciliary, in favor of more appropriate courts in a non-Contracting State. Where the provisions of the Brussels Convention do not address a legal question, the answer must be sought in the objectives and scheme of the Convention. The English Court of Appeals in Harrods properly understood that Community law does not require ritualistic reliance on the Convention\u27s jurisdiction conferring provisions in cases involving a defendant domiciled in a Contracting State and the jurisdiction of a court in a non-Contracting State

Pengujian Kekhususan Inang Parasitoid Anagyrus Lopezi (De Santis) (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) Pada Empat Spesies Kutu Putih Yang Berasosiasi Dengan Tanaman Singkong

A parasitoid, Anagyrus lopezi (De Santis) (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) was introduced from Thailand into Indonesia in early 2014 to control the cassava mealybug Phenacoccus manihoti Matile-Ferrero (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae). To determine its potential uses and effect on non-target species, behavioural observation of the parasitoids were made on four species of mealybugs, i.e. P. manihoti, Paracoccus marginatus Williams-Granara de Willink, Pseudococcus jackbeardsleyi Gimpel-Miller, and Ferrisia virgata Cockerell (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae). For that purposes, a set of tests were conducted wich includes host susceptability, preference, and suitability. Tests were conducted by exposing a female parasitoid to 3rd instar nymphs of each mealybug species in a petri dish. For susceptability test, parasitoid A. lopezi encounterend P. manihoti more often (13.70 ± 7.18 visits per 30 minutes) as compared to P. marginatus (985 ± 10.24), P. jackbeardsleyi (6.60 ± 3.62), and F. virgata (5.75 ± 4.09). So did ovipositor probing occurred more on P. manihoti (8.20 ± 5.68 probes per 30 minutes) than on P. marginatus (0.70 ± 1.84), P. jackbeardsleyi (0.35 ± 0.68), and F. virgata (0.10 ± 0.45). For preference test, host encounter and ovipositor probing by the parasitoid were more common on P. manihoti as opposed to other mealybug species. Out of four mealybug species tested, P. manihoti was the only suitable host for parasitoid development, with the number of progenies emerged 7.40 ± 2.17 individuals per 3 female parasitoids exposed in 24 hour. Host specifity exhibited by parasitoid A. lopezi may prevent adverse effect to other mealybug species inhabiting cassava fields

Analisis Penerapan Kebijakan Total Productive Maintenance pada Proses Produksi Transformer (Studi Kasus : PT. Nikkatsu Electric Works)

PT. Nikkatsu Electric Works is a company of manufactures that the product is an electrical equipment and energy saving lamps. At the company there is no exact methode to measure the effectiveness of the machines on the production process of transformers, it's make the production process not optimal and impact on not achieving the target production company and need to identify the factors that influence the effectiveness of the machine and analysis of maintenance activities that can be input to the implementation of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) for the company. The purpose of this research to measure the level of effectiveness of the total equipment in the production process of transformers, determine factors which is causing the value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is low by identifying damages / losses that occur and give proposed improvement for the implementation of TPM. The result calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness ( OEE ) for winding machine period July 2012 - June 2013 had a value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness ( OEE ) ranged from ,80% - 81,19% that is where the value is still below the standard value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness ( OEE ) world class 85 % and the six big losses calculation results obtained : reduced speed loss 42,50%, breakdown loss 21,90%, setup and adjustment 20,20%, quality defect loss 8,67%, idle and minor stoppage loss 6,73%. With calculating the effectiveness of the equipment using the Total Productive Maintenance ( TPM ) which is the calculation formula is Overall Equipment Effectiveness ( OEE ) the company will know if the machine has working effectively or not with Total Productive Maintenance ( TPM ) and be expectedy to increase the effectiveness of equipment that can eliminate large losses for the company, that called as Six Big losses , so it's make getting closer to the main goal of TPM that is zero breakdown
