Irena Ramik-Mażewska, Employer’s Assistant – new value in employing persons with disabilities. Interdisciplinary Contexts of Special Pedagogy, no. 27, Poznań 2019. Pp. 417–432. Adam Mickiewicz University Press. ISSN 2300-391X. e-ISSN 2658-283X. DOI: https://doi.org/10.14746/ikps.2019.27.20 The purpose of this article is to present the initiative of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland, which is aimed at increasing the professional activity of persons with disabilities. The developed and tested model of the employer’s assistant is, in the special pedagogy, a new quality directed towards the labour market. The Employer’s Assistant does not deal, in essence, only with a person with a disability, but mainly with the environment of employers to hire persons that suffer from disabilities. In the article, I refer to the assistant of the disabled person as a result of the biopsychosocial model of disability, which creates a great opening to the discussion on various models of assistance. I would like to point out the specific consequences of the lack of employment among people with disabilities. I present the premises of the employer’s assistant model and the evaluation of its effectiveness, the main consequence of which is the ability to build social capital of persons with disabilities. By cooperating with many environments, the employer’s assistant develops specific social behavioural patterns and becomes a foundation of social activity of persons with disabilities.Irena Ramik-Mażewska, Employer’s Assistant – new value in employing persons with disabilities. The Analytic Hierarchy Process is frequently used approach for solving decision making problems. There exists wide range of software programs utilizing that approach. Their main disadvantage is that they are relatively expensive and missing intermediate calculations. This work introduces a Microsoft Excel add-in called DAME – Decision Analysis Module for Excel. Comparing to other computer programs DAME is free, can work with scenarios or multiple decision makers and displays intermediate calculations. Users can structure their decision models into three levels – scenarios/users, criteria and variants. Items on all levels can be evaluated either by weights or pair-wise comparisons. There are provided three different methods for the evaluation of the weights of criteria, the variants as well as the scenarios – Saaty's Method, Geometric Mean Method and Fuller's Triangle Method. Multiplicative and additive syntheses are supported. The proposed software package is demonstrated on couple of illustrating examples of real life decision problems

Classroom as a Space for Another

In Pedagogy the world of values is widely understood as a range of upbringing processes that aim at changing the personality of a pupil. It does not concern the cognitive instrumental aspect, but mostly the development of an attitude of a person toward the world and other people, the development of views, attitudes, hierarchies of values, and life objectives. Therefore, one may find in that theoretical domain a place for Another. It is not however something very obvious. An existence of an appearance is a very distressing and daily phenomenon in the Polish school. The realization of aims in education and upbringing is an excuse for attempting different other activities. Educational institutions display the consent for integration of politics and economy and in so doing they agree on indicating what should be important and proper in the learning process. The consequence may be the incapacitation of schools (teachers) or institutions that take care of schools and the distortion of the process of upbringing, whose effect is more often pupils’ conformism.34891005Studia Edukacyjn

In article for oligomerization and alkylation processes, to obtain a useful and highly stable active catalyst, New Catalytic Complex (NCC) synthesized which is based on aluminum metal using C2H4Cl2 and this complex has shown high stability in alkylation, oligomerization processes compared to other aluminum-containing catalysts. It is difficult to regulate the molecular mass distribution of received products during oligomerization, either Intensificate the oligomerization process of olefins that is why this process take place in presence of obtaining of bimetal catalytic complex with a highly stable activity from the modification of the New Catalytic Complex(NCC) with transition metal chloride. Comparatively studied oligomerization of Hexen-1 in present of new bimetallic catalytic complex which was modified by NCC and chromium salt (NCC/CrCl3), effect of temperature, reaction time, concentration of the catalyst and the proportion of catalyst components (Al:Cr) in the process was investigated. It was determined that at the initial time (10 min) conversion hexene-1 and the yield of purposeful oil fraction were low. Increasing time, conversion rate of Hexen-1 increases and the optimal time for the process is considered as 60 minutes. In low concentrations of catalyst (0,1-0,3)  oligomerization of hexene-1 is low but in high concentrations(>1%) reaction goes with high rate, at optimal concentration 0,5% mass both the yield of oil fraction and its chemical-physical properties were high.In oligomerization process investigated  ratio effect of catalyst components Al: Cr that was used  Al: Cr=(4-32):1 mol.It has been revealed that oligomerization of Hexen-1, at low mol ratio of components (4:1), received yield of oligomer fraction decreases while mol ratio increases (16:1, 32:1).Studies determined that bimetallic complex at 8:1 mole has shown the maximal activity in  oligomerization process of Hexen-1.The effect of the temperature on the oligomerization process was studied in the range of 30-60ºC, increasing the temperature up to 50 °C has a positive effect on the course of the process and despite providing complete oligomerization of hexene-1 its also providing increasing the amount of oil fractions with high viscosity. According to the researches, the optimal conditions for the oligomerization process of hexene-1 with the participation of the bimetallic catalytic complex: reaction time – 60 min., concentration of catalyst – 0,5 % by wt., mol ration of components Al:Cr = 8:1, temperature – 50 °C. In known optimal condition its possible to obtain oligomers with physical indications, characterized by narrow molecular mass distribution, by new catalytic complex that was modified by chromium salt.Such products have special importance, as low-freezing, high viscosity index qualitative engine oils.Synthesis of bimetallic catalytic complexes, with their presence in oligomerization of olefins and fractions, opens wide range perspectives in synthesis of different high-molecular compounds in industr

Education is a complex process. Very often it is defined as a general set of action aimed at education, which comprised of aims and rules. Exemplification of education are educational institutions, and educational programmes on each its level. Among many of its aims the most crucial is leading the individual to full independence. Independence is a complex process, demanding not only the example but also own and very often verified experiences. Experiences, which allow the individual to recognize own possibilities, needs and roles, which are going to be fulfilled. Independence allows then for asking questions concerning oneself, own place among others, and these always stay in a close bond to own identity. In special education the subject of identity gain greater significance. Pedagogues concentrate mainly on language expression and on actions, by which disabled are expressing themselves. More important become examining if undertaken educational actions allow disabled to perceive themselves as independent individuals. Are they equipped with emancipated, inner strategies of controlling? Or, another way round, is their independence controlled from outside and depends on retrieving inner patterns of behaviours?Education is a complex process. Issues of normalisation, autonomy and self-determination of people with intellectual disabilities in special education have already taken their fixed place. The consequence of this continuing discourse is the personal nature of disability, international, timeless declarations and modifications of already established rights. Recently, the emancipatory trend is gaining in importance in this discourse. It remains in close correlation with the primary objective of educating people with intellectual disabilities, which is comprehensive preparation for life. It is a form of conscious self-reliance, self-knowledge and the capacity to take autonomous action. One of the areas of development of self-reliance is work. The resulting interpersonal and intrapersonal experiences can become the path to emancipation. Sometimes one that goes beyond the standards of rehabilitation. The problem of normalization, autonomy and self-determination of people with intellectual disabilities in special education has already taken its place. The proposed solution reposes on the assumption that it is the curiosity which motivates a cognitive system to acquire new knowledge. Further, two distinct kinds of curiosity are identified in conformity to human cognitive system. On this I build a two level cognitive architecture. I identify its lower level with the perceptual saliency mechanism, while the higher level performs knowledge acquisition from observation and interaction with the environment. This thesis brings the following contribution: A) Investigation of the state of the art in autonomous knowledge acquisition. B) Realization of a lower cognitive level in the ensemble of the mentioned system, which is realizing the perceptual curiosity mechanism through a novel fast, real-world robust algorithm for salient object detection and learning. C) Realization of a higher cognitive level through a general framework for knowledge acquisition from observation and interaction with the environment including humans. Based on the epistemic curiosity, the high-level cognitive system enables a machine (e.g. a robot) to be itself the actor of its learning. An important consequence of this system is the possibility to confer high level multimodal cognitive capabilities to robots to increase their autonomy in real-world environment (human environment). D) Realization of the strategy proposed in the context of autonomous robotics. The studies and experimental validations done had confirmed notably that our approach allows increasing the autonomy of robots in real-world environmentPARIS-EST-Université (770839901) / SudocSudocFranceF
