    Get PDF
Myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack is the disease of the blood vessels supplying the heart muscle (Myocardium) i.e. coronary heart disease. The area of heart muscle that has either zero flow or so little flow that it cannot sustain cardiac muscle function is said to be infracted and the overall process is called a myocardial infarction. MI are of two types; transmural and subendocardial. Mainly it is caused due to oxidative stress and atherosclerosis.Chest pain is the most common symptom of acute MI and is often described as a sensation of tightness, pressure, or squeezing. Other symptoms include diaphoresis (an excessive form of sweating), Shortness of breath (dyspnea), weakness, light-headedness, nausea, vomiting, and palpitations. The most common symptoms of MI in women include dyspnea, weakness, and fatigue, sleep disturbances. It can be treated by using  blockers, diuretics, ACE inhibitors, calcium channel blockers and nitrates

The aspire and intention of the present study is to expand moreover authenticate a novel as well as rapid reverse phase chromatography separation technique for the estimating Cefotetan in bulk as such active pharmaceutical ingredient and dosage form to justify the presence of drug in the developed dosage forms and give satisfaction towards presence of medicine and its assay estimation. As the drug Cefotetan compendial monograph is not available in Indian Pharmacopoeia and British Pharmacopoeia, but a compendial monograph is available in United Sate Pharmacopoeia i.e. USP-40. USP monograph has a drawback that the standard solution and sample solution must be kept away from the light and to be used within 90 minutes after freshly preparation and which is time consuming, expensive and non eco-friendly method. To overcome these problems a new method is developed and validated in this research. Keywords: chromatography, Cefotetan, HPLC metho

The market mesmerized innumerable count of medicine especially in south Asian countries as well in middle east, irrationalities on drug promotional activities, lack of proper monitoring in existing system, failure on to promote individual patient care through proper advices, In simple words, pharmacovigilance insights needs to be elaborated, because the activities related purely on drugs, and no one free from adverse effects. Even in the existing pharmacovigilance system were found under reporting on ADR amongst the health care providers, it needs to develop new dimensional view, and to create public awareness programs on this regards. The illustrated data collected 463 experts in health care field from Middle East and South Asian region, specially emphasized on introspective view of participants’ on reporting adverse drug reaction and indirectly asked general population views on this regards. It needs to address pharmacovigilance system have major role to play improve quality of life, It is concluded that on reporting adverse drug reaction most of the people hesitated in existing facilities due to complicacy in procedure, factors like time constraints, lack awareness about this programs, But almost welcomed if the patient going to report adverse drug reaction directly. Simplicity in procedure is the major concern. Keywords: Pharmacovigilance, ADR, Quality of Lif

Plant parts such as seeds, berries, roots, leaves, bark, or flowers can be used medicinally. This practise is known as herbal medicine, botanical medicine, or phytomedicine. Outside of mainstream treatment, herbalists have long used herbalism for conventional medicine. Grewia subinaequalisDC in the family Tiliaceae, only one genus, Grewia, yields edible fruit. Saccharum officinarum is a species of grass belonging to the genus Saccharum that is characterised by its robust growth and size. Neisosperma oppositifolium is a tree that typically exhibits a height range of 6 to 25 metres, although it has been observed to vary from as low as 2.5 metres to extraordinarily high heights of 45 metres, and in rare cases, even up to 60 metres. The presence of moisture in crude pharmaceuticals is an unavoidable factor that should be minimised to the greatest extent possible9,10. The process of drying significantly influences both the quality and purity of the material. &nbsp

In the present research work mixed hydrotropic solubilization phenomenon is used to enhance the solubilization of poorly water-soluble drugs. Bulk drug samples were identified by the observed IR spectra and the melting points determination. Sodium benzoate, niacinamide, and urea are the hydrotropes were selected for the solubility enhancement of drugs Solubility enhancement ratios for selected poorly water-soluble drugs were determined. Results showed that remarkable increase in aqueous solubility of Miconazole in presence of large concentration of hydrotropes. Marketed Miconazole tablets determined by spectrophotometric analysis using hydrotropic solubilization techniques. Validation of the proposed analysis methods is  confirmed by  satisfactorily low  values of statistical parameters  viz., standard deviation, percent coefficient of variation and standard error. A field experiment was carried out at Research Farm of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India to evaluate the performance of pearl millet genotypes (HHB 67 ‘Improved’, HHB 197, HHB 223 and HHB 234) under different environment (rainfed and irrigated). Results showed that irrigated condition recorded significantly (p < 0.05) higher plant height, dry matter accumulation, root dry weight, ear head girth, test weight and yield of pearl millet than rainfed condition. Root length was significantly (p < 0.05) higher under rainfedthan irrigated condition. Genotypes were found significant (p < 0.05) with respect to plant height at harvest and HHB 234 recorded higher plant height. Genotype HHB 223 recorded higher earhead girth (2.6 cm) and test weight (11.16 g) compared to other genotypes. Interaction effect was also found significant (p < 0.05) with respect to plant height, dry matter accumulation, root length and weight and yield. These were higher in genotype HHB 223 and HHB 234 under irrigated and rainfed condition respectively but at 20 days after sowing, longest root was observed in genotype HHB 67 ‘Improved’ under rainfed condition and genotype HHB 197 under irrigated condition. To examine the performance of pearl millet genotypes in terms of survivality and yield potential, evaluation trials are necessary under different environment. Therefore, release of those varieties under different situations are essential for the sustainability of the fragile arid and semi arid regions of country
