Tari Gandrung sebagai Identitas Budaya Suku Sasak dan Relevansinya terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Generasi Muda di Nusa Tenggara Barat.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan: (1) nilai identitas budaya dalam tari Gandrung dan (2) relevansi nilai identitas budaya dalam tari Gandrung terhadap pembentukan karakter generasi muda di Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari penari, seniman, tokoh adat, pemerintah setempat, dan tokoh masyarakat. Sumber data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi selama pertunjukan tari Gandrung dan mewawancarai para informan yang mengetahaui maupun yang terlibat dalam pertunjukan tari Gandrung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tari Gandrung sebagai identitas budaya suku Sasak meliputi aspek nilai-nilai religius yang dapat dijadikan pedoman hidup dalam bermasyarakat. Nilai-nilai tersebut terdiri dari (a) hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan meliputi nilai keimanan, nilai ketaqwaan, nilai ketaatan, (b) hubungan manusia dengan manusia meliputi interaksi, silaturahmi, gotong royong, dan sopan santun, dan (c) hubungan manusia dengan alam. (2) Nilai-nilai tersebut kemudian di relevansikan dengan pembentukan karakter generasi muda yaitu, tindih, saling jot, saling pesilaq, saling ajinan/saling ilaqin, dan saling ayoin
Membangun Pemikiran Kritis Melalui Metode Membaca Kritis Karya Sastra
Critical thinking has a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of thinking of humans. It is because it has impact on their quality of life. Consequently, encouraging and stimulating students is crucial in schools. This community service activity aims to eliciting the students’ critical thinking through critical reading method. Several steps were conducted in implementing this community service activity namely pretest, critical reading implementation, and posttest. The results of the activity show that critical reading pursue the students to more non-judgmental; therefore, they might be wiser to perceive differences. The students were encouraged to read deeply to the texts and interpret the story both explicitly and implicitly. The interpretation process is correlated by the phenomenon of society. Interpretation in literature works in more flexible that it depends on the knowledge and experiences of the readers. The students respect to the difference through the diversity of the interpretation. This activity is expected to be conducted continuously to drill students’ critical thinking
Tari Dedare Nyesek
ABSTRACT
This research aims to describe the existence of Dedare Nyesek dance to the appreciation of the community in art activities in the Village of East Pringgasela Lombok Timur Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that the existence of Dedare Nyesek dance in Pringgasela Village is evidenced by the use of Dedare Nyesek dance as an art learning material in schools. Besides, Dedare Nyesek dance is also often performed at major events as government support to preserve this dance. People's appreciation of Dedare Nyesek dance is still lacking. This is due to the lack of Dedare Nyesek dance performance as well as the lack of public understanding of the meaning contained in the dance. The conclusion of the research is to preserve or improve the existence of Dedare Nyesek dance can be done by making Dedare Nyesek dance as a learning material in school. Besides, the manager and the Cultural Office also strive to display in major events held by the Cultural Office of NTB.

Bentuk Dan Gerak Tari Tradisional Manuk Beberi
The purpose of this study was to describe the various forms and movements of the Manuk Beberi dance. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods using theories related to the research topic. The theory used is the theory of symbols which is translated into discursive and presentational symbols. The results showed that the Manuk Beberi dance is a regional dance originating from Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The Manuk Beberi dance was created based on the story of Dewi Anjani's pet. This dance is danced by two male dancers with energetic movements that reflect the character of Dewi Anjani's pet chicken. The various movements of the Manuk Beberi dance are classified into discursive symbols and presentational symbols. Movements that are included in the discursive symbol are the movements of the Keber, Notok, Ngaeh and Bekupu. These movements have certain meanings based on the results of mutual agreement in an area. Meanwhile, other Manuk Beberi dance movements are included in the presentational symbol, namely movements that are only complementary and do not have a core meaning. In conclusion, the traditional dance of Manuk Beberi has four forms, namely, the traditional dance form, which is the pet movement of Dewi Anjani.
