Mefenamic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects. Mefenamic acid works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis as an inflammatory mediator. Mefenamic acid has low drug solubility and a long process of dissolution in the body which greatly affects the speed of absorption and bioavailability of the drug. In this study, mefenamic acid nanoemulsion formulation was carried out through a Self-Nanoemulsifying Drug Delivery System (SNEDDS) delivery system. SNEDDS is a drug delivery method through isotropic oil extraction, surfactants, cosurfactans and drug that form oil in water (m/a) emulsions which when in contact with the water phase in the digestive tract wiil from a nanoemulsion that occurs spontaneously so that the drug dissolves with a particle size small so as to increase the effective surface area for absorption. The purpose of the study was to determine the ratio of surfactant and cosurfactant composition to the optimum formula of SNEDDS of mefenamic acid with VCO as an oil phase. The SNEDDS formula was obtained by mixing the surfactants tween 80 and span 80, cosurfactant PEG 400 and VCO as the oil phase using the characterization of determining the optimum formula, namely emulsion formation, transmittance and emulsification time. The composition of the optimum formula of SNEDDS of mefenamic acid is 1 mL VCO; 1 mL PEG 400; 6 mL tween 80; 1 mL span 80. Optimum formula showed clear emulsion results, with transmittance values of 89,04% and emulsification time under 1 minute. In this study produced the optimum formula SNEDDS the met the criteria based on droplet size parameters of 153,5 nm, potential zeta value of 8,2 mV and showed good stability

The quality of life of asthma patients is influenced by many factors, including the type of therapy and asthma control. The purpose of this community service is to provide insight and knowledge for the community/hospital visitors about the quality of life of asthma patients. The method used is a question-and-answer lecture/discussion and the provision of leaflets. The results obtained by the respondents' knowledge increased from before being given counseling to after being given counseling. The conclusion is that giving counseling increases the respondents' knowledge about types of therapy, asthma control, and the quality of life of bronchial asthma patients. It is hoped that by doing this community service, the community will share information with others about improving the quality of life Keywords: Type of Therapy, Asthma Control, Quality of Life, Counselin

The Study substitute Fish Meal with Maggot Meal Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) Appearance Against Quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) was carried out at 36 Jalan Palasari Waas RT. 1 RW. 4 Rural District Sukasari Pameungpeuk Bandung regency, West Java, which runs from January to February 2012. The research aims to  determine the substitution of fish meal with maggot meal Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) the appearance of the female quail in the growth phase. The design used in this study is completely randomized design (CRD) with four replications per treatment 5 replicates consisted of 10 female quails so that the whole 200 tail. As for treatment, namely R1 (16.00% + 0% fish meal flour maggot), R2 (12.00% + 6.47% fish meal flour maggot), R3 (8.00% + 12.94% fish meal flour maggot ), R4 (4.00% + 19.41% fish meal flour maggot), and R5 (0% fish meal flour maggot + 25.88%), with an average initial body weight of 48.01 grams / tail-old 3 weeks. The results showed that the substitution of fish meal with maggot meal significantly (P <0.05) in female quail consumption. While the weight gain, feed conversion and weight gain end female quail had no significant effect (P <0,05)

We report the synthesis of a composite from domestic waste with the strength of wood building materials. We used original domestic waste with only a simple pretreatment to reduce the processing cost. The wastes were composed of organic components (generally originating from foods), paper, plastics, and clothes; the average fraction of each type of waste mirrored the corresponding fractions of wastes in the city of Bandung, Indonesia. An initial survey of ten landfills scattered through Bandung was conducted to determine the average fraction of each component in the waste. The composite was made using a hot press. A large number of synthesis parameters were tested to determine the optimum ones. The measured mechanical strength of the produced composite approached the mechanical properties of wood building materials. A fire-retardant powder was added to retard fire so that the composite could be useful for the construction of residential homes of lower-income people who often have problems with fire. Fire tests showed that the composites were more resistant to fire than widely used wood building materials

The new pyrazolo-pyridine compounds derived from monoketone curcumin analogues (P4Cl and P2CL) were synthesized in two stages. The first stage was the synthesis of curcumin monoketone (Cs) analogue through the Claisen-Schmidt reaction in the heating method using reflux. The second step was the synthesis of P2CL and P4Cl through nucleophilic addition and intramolecular cyclization in the heating method using a Monowave 50 apparatus. The structures of the compounds P2CL and P4Cl were confirmed by spectroscopic analysis including UV-Vis, FT-IR, 1H-NMR and HRMS. Based on molecular docking studies, the compounds P2Cl and P4Cl have weak potential as COX-2 enzyme inhibitors with a binding free energy value of -4.02 kcal/mol and an RMSD of 1.19
