Software-based fast failure recovery in load balanced SDN-based datacenter networks
Load balancing is currently considered as a candidate solution to tackle the emerging problem of increasing bandwidth demand in intra-datacenter networks. Furthermore, because a short disruption of data transfer would corrupt the result of a long procedure of computation, fast failure management mechanisms are considered as integral part of current datacenters. In this paper, we propose a method which uses active probing to detect and manage failures in an OpenFlow based datacenter network exploiting load balancing among equal cost multiple paths. The proposed method is scalable and effective based on the actions it takes without involving the controller in the fast failure recovery procedure

Software-based Fast Failure Recovery in Load Balanced SDN-based Data Center Networks
A mechanism to detect and manage failures in a datacenter network exploiting load balancing among equal cost multiple paths, based on active probing and without involving the centralized controller, was introduced.
The proposed mechanism was deployed and validated on a data center-liked network test bed based on OpenFlow and consisting of several Open VSwitches controlled by a Ryu Controller. The experimental results successfully showed failure detection and recovery time of less than 5ms for probes produced every millisecond and around 10ms for probes produced each 2.5ms, without introducing scalability issues at the centralized controller
Discourse Analysis in Schizophrenic Patients on the Basis of Grice\'s Cooperative Principles
Objective: The ultimate goal of this study is one of the discourse fields analysis, i.e. Grice's cooperative principles.
Materials & Methods: In this comparative and case - control study, two groups of normal individuals and schizophrenic patients were selected by simple method from sample of convenience and interviewed based on the spontaneous part of Persian Aphasia Test. All the answers were analyzed with respect to the percent rate of errors in the 4 "cooperative maxims", and the errors were collected. Data were analyzed by Independent T Test, ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney.
Results: There were significant differences between two groups in respect to all the Grice’s cooperative principles (P<0.001), maxim of quantity (P<0.001), maxim of relevance (P<0.001) and maxim of manner (P=0.02), but in maxim of quality there was no significant differeance (P=0.07). The mean percent of errors in the course of illness, education and age varieties were not significant.
Conclusion: Schizophrenic patients have incoherence speech and this problem exists in the discourse field and social interactions, thus the patients frequently fail in observing the Gricean cooperative principles
