Optimal Power Allocation for Channel Estimation in MIMO-OFDM System with Per-Subcarrier Transmit Antenna Selection
A novel hybrid channel estimator is proposed for multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal frequency- division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system with per-subcarrier transmit antenna selection having optimal power allocation among subcarriers. In practice, antenna selection information is transmitted through a binary symmetric control channel with a crossover probability. Linear minimum mean-square error (LMMSE) technique is optimal technique for channel estimation in MIMO-OFDM system. Though LMMSE estimator performs well at low signal to noise ratio (SNR), in the presence of antenna-to-subcarrier-assignment error (ATSA), it introduces irreducible error at high SNR. We have proved that relaxed MMSE (RMMSE) estimator overcomes the performance degradation at high SNR. The proposed hybrid estimator combines the benefits of LMMSE at low SNR and RMMSE estimator at high SNR. The vector mean square error (MSE) expression is modified as scalar expression so that an optimal power allocation can be performed. The convex optimization problem is formulated and solved to allocate optimal power to subcarriers minimizing the MSE, subject to transmit sum power constraint. Further, an analytical expression for SNR threshold at which the hybrid estimator is to be switched from LMMSE to RMMSE is derived. The simulation results show that the proposed hybrid estimator gives robust performance, irrespective of ATSA error
Comparison Of Modified Dual Ternary Indexing And Multi-Key Hashing Algorithms For Music Information Retrieval
In this work we have compared two indexing algorithms that have been used to
index and retrieve Carnatic music songs. We have compared a modified algorithm
of the Dual ternary indexing algorithm for music indexing and retrieval with
the multi-key hashing indexing algorithm proposed by us. The modification in
the dual ternary algorithm was essential to handle variable length query phrase
and to accommodate features specific to Carnatic music. The dual ternary
indexing algorithm is adapted for Carnatic music by segmenting using the
segmentation technique for Carnatic music. The dual ternary algorithm is
compared with the multi-key hashing algorithm designed by us for indexing and
retrieval in which features like MFCC, spectral flux, melody string and
spectral centroid are used as features for indexing data into a hash table. The
way in which collision resolution was handled by this hash table is different
than the normal hash table approaches. It was observed that multi-key hashing
based retrieval had a lesser time complexity than dual-ternary based indexing
The algorithms were also compared for their precision and recall in which
multi-key hashing had a better recall than modified dual ternary indexing for
the sample data considered.Comment: 11 pages, 5 figure
Traffic Performance Analysis of Manet Routing Protocol
The primary objective of this research work is to study and investigate the
performance measures of Gossip Routing protocol and Energy Efficient and
Reliable Adaptive Gossip routing protocols. We use TCP and CBR based traffic
models to analyze the performance of above mentioned protocols based on the
parameters of Packet Delivery Ratio, Average End-to-End Delay and Throughput.
We will investigate the effect of change in the simulation time and Number of
nodes for the MANET routing protocols. For Simulation, we have used ns-2
simulator.Comment: 12 pages,12 figure
Chitosan/Modified Banana Epidermis Starch Composite Films for Food Packaging Applications
Banana epidermis is a waste material and starchier, it can be used to made biodegradable composite film and their properties were characterized. The aim of this study was to develop biodegradable composite films based on modified banana epidermis starch. The role of modified banana epidermis starch (MBES) particle loadings were analyzed on chitosan semi-crystalline structure, in addition to studying the composite film properties such as barrier, thermal and mechanical properties. Antimicrobial activity of the composite films is developed based on chitosan and MBES particle. The composite films are produced by solution casting method. The composites exhibit a significantly good in the mechanical and thermal stability. The resulting Chitosan/MBES films exhibit better oxygen permeation rate while compared with normal commercial films. The new prepared composite films have a high potential, mechanical, morphological, antimicrobial activity, and to improve their long-lasting antimicrobial efficiency for food packaging applications

Performance Analysis of Network Coding with Exponential back off Algorithm Using Multi Path Transfer Protocol in Wireless Network
Network coding is an effective technique to boost the capacity of wireless networks. In that network, transmitted data is encoded and decoded to increase network throughput and to reduce end to end delay and make the network more robust. In this paper, the throughput and end to end delay of network coding is investigated under IEEE802.11 DCF. It is proposed that this can be achieved with CSMA/CA as in IEEE802.11 distributed coordination function with Multi Path Transfer Protocol (DCF-MPTP). CSMA/CA is based on the combination of physical carrier sensing and exponential back off algorithm. Proposed model prevents the delay and packed loss
IN SILICO SCREENING AND PREDICTION OF LYCOPODIELLA CERNUA L. AGAINST CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF DNA GYRASE
Objective: The point of the review was centered around hindrance DNA Gyrase by mixtures of Lycopodiella cernua L., a perpetual plant through in silico studies.
Methods: The Chemical mixtures of the plant test was gathered from the L. cernua L. Molecules that fall inside Lipinski’s standard of five such particles are frequently distinguished and finished for docking. The natural action of the mixtures was dissected utilizing the pass online device. The worth of Probability to be dynamic (Pa) and idle (Pi) are investigated. The few mixtures recovered from the plant were examined for its conceivable critical cooperation with the objective protein utilizing sub-atomic docking studies.
Results: The compound 2-Ethylacridine had G-Score of - 7.1 Kcal/mol and framed hydrogen bonds with the buildup GLY showing the bond length of 2.0. The future point of view of the review is to decide the strength of the protein-compound complex through elements studies. The connections were noticed utilizing Pymol.
Conclusion: The came about compound showed higher adequacy than controlled (anti-microbial) compound, this demonstrates the plants potential to be a successful medication compound towards the objective. The plant mixtures ought to be investigated more to be an effective and potential medication particles

Signal Integrity Analysis of Modified Coplanar Waveguide Structure Using ADI-FDTD Method
Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) technology shrinks to Deep Sub Micron (DSM) geometries, interconnect is becoming a limiting factor in determining circuit performance. High speed interconnect suffers from signal integrity effects like crosstalk, and propagation delay thereby degrading the entire system operation. In order to reduce the adverse signal integrity effects, if is necessary for the interconnect to have accurate physical dimensions. The interconnection and packaging related issues are main factors that determine the number of circuits that can be integrated in a chip as well as the chip performance. In this paper, it is proposed to simulate high speed interconnect structures using Alternate Direction Implicit Finite-Difference Time-Domain Method (ADI-FDTD) method. The electrical parameters such as mutual inductance and mutual capacitance were calculated from E and H fields for Coplanar waveguide (CPW) and Stacked Grounded Coplanar waveguide (SGCPW).
