Hubungan Kondisi Lingkungan Fisik, Biologi dan Praktik Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk dengan Kejadian Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Ngawi (Studi Kasus di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Ngawi, Kecamatan Ngawi, Kabupaten Ngawi)

Puskesmas Ngawi merupakan salah satu dari 24 Puskesmas di Kabupaten Ngawi, yang pada tahun 2015 terdapat kasus DBD paling banyak, yaitu sejumlah 116 kasus. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan lingkungan fisik, biologi dan praktik PSN dengan kejadian DBD di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Ngawi. Disain penelitian ini menggunakan case control. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas populasi kasus dan kontrol serta sampel sejumlah 102 yang terdiri atas 51 kasus dan 51 kontrol. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji chi square menunjukkan variabel yang berhubungan dengan kejadian DBD yaitu keberadaan breeding place potensial di dalam rumah (p-value=0,016; OR=3,429), keberadaan resting place di dalam rumah (p-value= 0,001; OR=6,667), keberedaan resting place di luar rumah (p-value=0,001; OR=5,405), praktik menguras TPA (p-value=0,001; OR=11,985), praktik menutup TPA (p-value =0,001; OR=8,727), praktik mendaur ulang barang bekas (p-value =0,001; OR=4,785), praktik menghindari kontak dengan Aedes aegypti(p-value =0,005; OR=3,217), sedangkan variabel yang tidak berhubungan yaitu keberadaan breeding place potensial di luar rumah (p-value=0,338; OR=1,869), keberadaan ikan pemakan jentik (p-value=0,4; OR=0,480), dan keberadaan tanaman anti nyamuk (p-value=1; OR=1). Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu ada hubungan antara keberadaan breeding place potensial dalam rumah, keberadaan resting place dalam rumah, keberadaan resting place luar rumah, praktik menutup TPA, praktik menguras TPA, praktik memanfaatkan barang bekas, praktik menghindari kontak Aedes aegypti dengan kejadian DBD di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Ngawi. Oleh karena itu, perlu digalakkan kampanye PSN 3M plus dengan lebih intensif kepada masyarakat untuk mencegah kejadian DBD. Kata Kunci: DBD, lingkungan fisik, biologi, praktik PS

PROFIL KEMAMPUAN LITERASI MATEMATIKA DITINJAU DARI GAYA BELAJAR

Learning style is a method used by each individual to absorb information easily and quickly. Learning style is one of the supporting factors related to mathematical literacy ability. This can happen because learning styles can affect learning outcomes and student achievement. In this study, the learning style used is the VAK learning style (Visual, Audiotori, Kinesthetic). The purpose of this research is to describe how students' mathematical literacy skills at VAK learning style. Selected 1 student who has the highest score on the visual learning style, 1 student who has the highest score on the auditory learning style, and 1 student who has the highest score on the kinesthetic learning style. The results obtained from this study are students with the highest visual learning style can complete level 1 correctly. at level 3 and 4 students with the highest visual learning style came to the indicators of translating problems. Meanwhile, students with the highest auditory learning style were only able to complete level 3 correctly. Meanwhile, students with the highest kinesthetic learning style can complete level 1 correctly. At level 3 only errors occur when drawing conclusions. So it can be concluded that students with the highest visual learning styles can achieve higher competencies than students with auditory and kinesthetic learning styles

Pengembangan media pembelajaran operasi aljabar berbasis articulate storyline berbantuan quizwhizzer untuk mendukung pemahaman konsep

The purpose of this research are to describe the development process and result of algebra-based learning media by articulate storyline with help quizwhizzer website of valid, practical, and effective to support the student’s concept of understanding in algebra. This research model is ADDIE type, which has five steps, they are : analyse, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Algebra-based learning media by articulate storyline with help quizwhizzer websitewas tested by two examinations, which are limited examination and direct examination to studenst of MTs Al-Mahrusiyah Lirboyo Kediri. The research tools used were validated papers, student’s and teacher’s assessment response, and the sheets of concept understanding. Algebra-based learning media by articulate storyline with hrlp quizwhizzer website has reached the validity percentage of 79,6%. The practical result showed the number 83%, previewed from studen’s assessment response. Therefore, it is valid to state that it has fulfilled the practical criteria. The effectiveness result showed 72% previewed from the result of student’s concept of understanding test. In addition to that, it has fulfilled the criteria effectively

Pemodelan Karakteristik Penyerapan Air pada Jagung (Zea mays L.), Sorgum (Sorghum bicolor L.), dan Hanjeli (Coix lacyma-jobi L.) Selama Perendaman

Karakteristik penyerapan air dari biji jagung, sorgum, dan hanjeli  selama perendaman dipelajari pada dua jenis larutan yaitu pH netral dan alkali, serta pada tiga suhu yang berbeda yaitu 30, 45, dan 60 °C.   Persamaan Peleg digunakan untuk mengetahui laju penyerapan air dan kapasitas penyerapan air maksimum serta untuk menentukan kadar air kesetimbangan. Kinetika absorpsi mengikuti hukum difusi Fick. Nilai koefisien difusi meningkat karena peningkatan suhu dan jenis larutan perendaman. Hasil perhitungan nilai koefisien difusi berkisar 1,61 – 1,82x10-11 m2s-1 untuk sorgum; 1,97 – 2,64x10-11 m2s-1 untuk hanjeli; dan 4,80 – 5,66x10-11 m2s-1 untuk jagung. Perendaman pada larutan alkali menghasilkan nilai energi aktivasi yang lebih kecil. Persamaan Arrhenius dapat digunakan dengan baik dalam pendugaan nilai koefisien difusi berdasarkan nilai energi aktivasi dan suhu perendaman

CURATION AND MANAGEMENT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE THROUGH LIBRARIES

Libraries, museums and archives hold valuable collections in a variety of media, presenting a vast body of knowledge rooted in the history of human civilisation. These form the repository of the wisdom of great works by thinkers of past and the present. The holdings of these institutions are priceless heritage of the mankind as they preserve documents, ideas, and the oral and written records. To value the cultural heritage and to care for it as a treasure bequeathed to us by our ancestors is the major responsibility of libraries. The past records constitute a natural resource and are indispensable to the present generation as well as to the generations to come. Libraries preserve the documentary heritage resources for which they are primarily responsible. Any loss of such materials is simply irreplaceable. Therefore, preserving this intellectual, cultural heritage becomes not only the academic commitment but also the moral responsibility of the librarians/information scientists, who are in charge of these repositories. The high quality of the papers and the discussion represent the thinking and experience of experts in their particular fields. The contributed papers also relate to the methodology used in libraries in Asia to provide access to manuscripts and cultural heritage. The volume discusses best practices in Knowledge preservation and how to collaborate and preserve the culture. The book also deals with manuscript and archives issues in the digital era.
