    DIODE LASER STUDIES OF ISOTOPIC OZONE BANDS NEAR 10μm10 \mu m

    Author Institution: Department of Physics, College of William and Mary; NASA Langley Research Center, College of William and MaryVibration-rotation spectra of the ν3\nu_{3} fundamental band of 16O3{^{16}}O_{3} and the five isotopes obtained by substitution of each 16O{^{16}}O atom by 18O{^{18}}O have been recorded using a tunable diode laser system at NASA Langley Research Center. The various isotopic mixtures have been prepared from 99.98\% 16O{^{16}}O-enriched and 96.5\% 18O{^{18}}O-enriched oxygen samples by electrical discharge. Spectra of nearly pure 16O3{^{16}}O_{3}, nearly pure 18O3{^{18}}O_{3}, and mixtures of these isotopes and 16O16O18O,16O18O16O,16O18O18O{^{16}}O{^{16}}O{^{18}}O, {^{16}}O{^{18}}O{^{16}}O, {^{16}}O{^{18}}O{^{18}}O, and 18O16O18O{^{18}}O{^{16}}O{^{18}}O will be shown. Intensities and air-broadened halfwidths have been derived for selected lines
