A New Class of Solutions to the Strong CP Problem with a Small Two-Loop theta
We present a new class of models which produce zero theta (QCD} angle at the
tree and one-loop level due to hermiticity of sub-blocks in the extended quark
mass matrices. The structure can be maintained typically by non-abelian

Corporate Brand Image: Antecedents, Mediating Role and Impact on Stakeholder Expectations
Corporate identity and image are shaped by the entirety of perceptions of a variety of stakeholders, both existing and potential ones, such as customers, suppliers, employees, general public, opinion makers, and government officials. Our study is an empirical investigation of corporate brand image and impact on one such stakeholder group made up of prospective employees. A large multinational, a technical and scientific research firm, a major recruiter of graduates from campuses of reputable universities across the nation was chosen as the subject. This paper develops and tests a path model of the antecedent factors affecting corporate brand image and specific expectations that stakeholders may have of a corporate brand. Based on a thorough literature review, a corporate brand image model that treated as antecedents the four constructs, awareness of organisationâs products, perceptions about culture, personality of the focal firm, and general expectations was proposed. Specific expectations that respondents may have about working with the firm was modeled to be influenced by the corporate brand image of the firm surveyed and also by the mentioned four antecedent constructs. The model is fitted to empirical data obtained from a national sample of 368 respondents using LISREL 8.5 methodology, and strong support was found for five, partial support for two of the nine hypotheses tested. Substantial evidence can be seen for the mediating role of corporate brand image in shaping specific expectations that stakeholders have from the corporate brand. Practical significance and managerial implications for marketing investments and organisational performance are detailed.
High Energy Quark-Antiquark Elastic scattering with Mesonic Exchange
We studies the high energy elastic scattering of quark anti-quark with an
exchange of a mesonic state in the channel with .
Both the normalization factor and the Regge trajectory can be calculated in
PQCD in cases of fixed (non-running) and running coupling constant. The
dependence of the Regge trajectory on the coupling constant is highly
non-linear and the trajectory is of order of in the interesting physical

Suppression and Enhancement of Soliton Switching During Interaction in Periodically Twisted Birefringent Fiber
Soliton interaction in periodically twisted birefringent optical fibers has
been analysed analytically with refernce to soliton switching. For this purpose
we construct the exact general two-soliton solution of the associated coupled
system and investigate its asymptotic behaviour. Using the results of our
analytical approach we point out that the interaction can be used as a switch
to suppress or to enhance soliton switching dynamics, if one injects

Soliton formation from a pulse passing the zero-dispersion point in a nonlinear Schr\"odinger equation
We consider in detail the self-trapping of a soliton from a wave pulse that
passes from a defocussing region into a focussing one in a spatially
inhomogeneous nonlinear waveguide, described by a nonlinear Schrodinger
equation in which the dispersion coefficient changes its sign from normal to
anomalous. The model has direct applications to dispersion-decreasing nonlinear
optical fibers, and to natural waveguides for internal waves in the ocean. It
is found that, depending on the (conserved) energy and (nonconserved) mass of
the initial pulse, four qualitatively different outcomes of the pulse
transformation are possible: decay into radiation; self-trapping into a single
soliton; formation of a breather; and formation of a pair of counterpropagating
solitons. A corresponding chart is drawn on a parametric plane, which
demonstrates some unexpected features. In particular, it is found that any kind
of soliton(s) (including the breather and counterpropagating pair) eventually
decays into pure radiation with the increase of the energy, the initial mass
being kept constant. It is also noteworthy that a virtually direct transition
from a single soliton into a pair of symmetric counterpropagating ones seems
possible. An explanation for these features is proposed. In two cases when
analytical approximations apply, viz., a simple perturbation theory for broad
initial pulses, or the variational approximation for narrow ones, comparison

We analyse the reversible magnetisation and heat capacity of YBa2Cu3O7âδ in the âvortex liquidâ state and find that both properties are reasonably well described by the 3D XY critical-fluctuation model. The free-energy density in the âvortex liquidâ state has a particularly simple form over a wide range of fields (H) and temperatures (T). Detection and construction of an elliptic solution to the complex cubic-quintic Ginzburg-Landau equation
In evolution equations for a complex amplitude, the phase obeys a much more
intricate equation than the amplitude. Nevertheless, general methods should be
applicable to both variables. On the example of the traveling wave reduction of
the complex cubic-quintic Ginzburg-Landau equation (CGL5), we explain how to
overcome the difficulties arising in two such methods: (i) the criterium that
the sum of residues of an elliptic solution should be zero, (ii) the
construction of a first order differential equation admitting the given
