The low availability of information concerning the development of pharmaceutical industry and pharmaceutical market in Indonesia has lead into misunderstanding of development of pharmaceutical industry and the level of pharmaceuticals consumption in Indonesia. During the year of 1993 PT. Corinthian Infopharma Corpora has conducted research on sales of ethical drugs including the generic and OTC drugs in 7 (seven) big cities in Indonesia and the research findings determined ¡00 pharmaceutical companies with big sales records. The result of the survey of market share of sales and total production of 20 commonly used drugs are reported. The data shows variation in market share of sales and total production of 20 commonly used drugs. The data shows extreme and indiscriminate variation in drug prices among the generic and the trade mark drugs. It is argued that the government should intervene to regulate and control drug prices. Consumers should also take the initiative to campaign for social justice and fair play in drug pricing

Orphanages as institutions which accommodate, nurture, and educate orphans and underprivileged, majority are unable to survive long due to lack of public support. The lack of such assistance due to lack of publication of the existence of an orphanage to the general public and donors. To solve this problem, we did community service to orphanages in order to publicize its existence to the general public and donors with the title: Smart Pawon: “Smart Orphanage Web On Network as the Applied Technology for Developing Orphanage in Malang". The objective of this community service is to publicize the existence of the orphanage to the public and donors that will be easier for them to locate and provide assistance to orphanages. With the help of the community and donors, the orphanage is expected to be able to survive and rapidly evolving. This community service has been carried out for 4 months from preparation, data collection, purchase a domain and website creation, website management training and publications website\u27s existence. Equipment used include computers, the Internet, and the supporting equipment such as tables, and electrical current. Community service that has been done has realized the target outcome is the creation of a website holding orphanages www.pawon.net site map with the address, and the creation of a website that is a partner orphanage orphanage website Nurul Abyadh www.nurulabyadh.com, Sunan Ampel orphanage website www.pa-sunanampel.com, website – Taqwa-Alqolbi orphanage www.taqwa-alqolbi.com. Comparison of Dialogue Method with Android-Based Image Media and Dialogue Method Without Media to Vocabulary Mastery and Speaking Skills

This study aims to determine whether there is a difference in the simultaneous mastery of vocabulary and speaking skills of students who follow the dialogue method with android-based image media and those who follow the dialogue method without media. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental Design with the type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research is all elementary schools in Buntu Batu DistrictThe research sample was 20 students of class III SDN 89 URU and 20 students of class III SDK TO'PAE, using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using test techniques to determine vocabulary mastery in the form of multiple-choice questions and oral speaking skills tests. The results of the research based on descriptive analysis showed that the control class was 85,500 and the control class was 55,750. While the results of the inferential analysis indicated that the dialogue method with android-based image media had simultaneous differences in vocabulary mastery and speaking skills with a sig value of 0.00<0.05. Kajian Dampak Perubahan Garis Pantai Terhadap Penggunaan Lahan Berdasarkan Analisa Penginderaan Jauh Satelit Di Kecamatan Paiton, Kabupaten Probolinggo Jawa Timur

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak Perubahan garis pantai terhadap Perubahan lahan pesisir di Kecamatan Paiton dalam jangka waktu 16 tahun dengan menggunakan analisa penginderaan jauh satelit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif yakni metode penelitian ilmiah yang sistematis terhadap bagian-bagian dan fenomena serta hubungan-hubungannya yang berkaitan dengan fenomena alam sedangkan metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling Method yaitu penentuan lokasi pengambilan sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan-pertimbangan tertentu. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya Perubahan garis pantai berdasarkan hasil overlay Peta LPI tahun 1993 dan citra satelit Landsat 1996 di kecamatan Paiton periode tahun 1993-1996 berkurang sepanjang 909,397 m, lahan yang terakresi seluas 38,5435 ha dan lahan yang tererosi seluas 56,21 ha. Hasil overlay citra Landsat 1996 dan Ikonos 2009 terjadi penambahan garis pantai sepanjang 1.193,489 m, lahan yang terakresi seluas 11,863 ha dan lahan yang tererosi seluas 12,492 ha. Hasil pengolahan data arus didapatkan besarnya arus sepanjang pantai sebesar 1,829 m/s, kecepatan gelombang sebesar 6,187 m/s dengan Mean Sea Level sebesar 168 cm. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Perubahan garis pantai akan berdampak pada Perubahan lahan di Kecamatan Paiton setiap tahunnya akibat dari erosi dan akresi

At Latest ten years, the paddy land at Tangga Batu area is use changed into plantation. This research was conducted to study characteristics of soil at some land uses ( paddy, rubber- cacao, and palm of 1,5 and 10 years old ).Soil sampling is conducted by using survey method. Soil samples are taken as soil sample disturbed and non distrubed at three (3) points in eachs land use randomly. The result showed that there is decreasing of total nitrogen at plantation and increasing of P- available at mixed farm (rubber – cacao). There are no changes of soil characteristics such us like potassiumexchange, pH, soil permeability, soil texture, and soil respirationat some land uses ( paddy, rubber- cacao, and palm of 1,5 and 10 years old )

Grain size parameter of sediment in Leupung Beach, Aceh Province

We investigated the sediment conditions on the Leupung Beach, located in Aceh Besar District, Aceh Province. Sampling was carried out in November 2018 at 3 stations along the coastline. Sediment sampling was carried out in the swash zone area by dividing each station into two zones, namely upper swash zone (USZ) and lower swash zone (LSZ). Sediment samples were taken vertically using a modified coring pipe to a depth of 15 cm. Sediment stratification was done by dividing the sample into 3 layers, where each layer has a thickness of 5 cm. The results obtained are sediment in the USZ area in the form of fine sand; moderately sorted to moderately well-sorted; symmetrical to coarse skewed; mesokurtic to very leptokurtic, while LSZ in the form of fine sand; moderately sorted to moderately well-sorted; symmetrical to coarse skewed; platykurtic t o leptokurtic. The difference in position between LSZ and USZ, relative to the water level, gives a difference in the grain size distribution between the two

Pengaruh Pemberian Subkronik Ekstrak Kelopak Bunga Rosella (Hibiscus Sabdariffa L.) terhadap Kadar Sgpt Sgot dan Alp

Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) has been known as traditional medicinal plants. It needed to evaluate the safety of roselle extract on long-term oral administration. The research aimed to determine the savety of ethanolic extract of roselle calyx. Subchronic toxicity study of ethanolic extract of roselle calyx had been carried out on 60 Sprague Dawleys (SD) rats for 28 days. The roselle extract was administered orally every day, with doses of 50,100 and 200 mg/kgBW. There are 2 satellite groups, kept for another 14 days after the treatment in order to detect a delayed occurrence of toxic effect. Satellite group was given extract 200 mg/kgBW for 28 days and followed aquadest treatment for 14 days. At the end of experiment the blood was collected for meansuring SGPT, SGOT and ALP activity. The result showed that treatment of roselle calyx extract had no significant changes in SGPT SGOT, ALP activity. The delayed effect was not also observed. The ethanolic extract of roselle calyx didn't show toxic effects on the liver on subchronic administration
