Kecenderungan Kecanduan Gim Daring Dan Konformitas Kelompok Gim Daring Pada Remaja
On Edge Dominating Number of Tensor Product of Cycle and Path
A subset S' of E(G) is called an edge dominating set ofG if every edge not in S' is adjacent to some edge in S'. The edge dominatingnumber of G, denoted by Îł'(G), of G is the minimum cardinality takenover all edge dominating sets of G. Let G1 (V1, E1) and G2(V2,E2) betwo connected graph. The tensor product of G1 and G2, denoted byG1â¨âG2 is a graph with the cardinality of vertex |V| = |V1| Ă |V2|and two vertices (u1,u2) and (v1,v2) in V are adjacent in G1â¨âG2ifu1 v1 â E1 and u2,v2 âE2 . In this paper we study an edge dominatingnumber in the tensor product of path and cycle. The results show thatÎł'(Cnâ¨âP2) = â2n/3â for n is odd, Îł'(Cnâ¨âP3) = n for n is odd, and theedge dominating number is undeďŹned if n is even. For n âeven number,we investigated the edge dominating number of its component on tensorproduct of cycle Cn and path. The results are Îł'c(Cnâ¨âP2)= ân/3â andÎł'c(Cn â¨âP3) = ân/2â which Cn ,P2 and P3, respectively, is Cycle order n,Path order 2 and Path order 3
The Tree Inclusion Problem: In Linear Space and Faster
Given two rooted, ordered, and labeled trees and the tree inclusion
problem is to determine if can be obtained from by deleting nodes in
. This problem has recently been recognized as an important query primitive
in XML databases. Kilpel\"ainen and Mannila [\emph{SIAM J. Comput. 1995}]
presented the first polynomial time algorithm using quadratic time and space.
Since then several improved results have been obtained for special cases when
and have a small number of leaves or small depth. However, in the worst
case these algorithms still use quadratic time and space. Let , , and
denote the number of nodes, the number of leaves, and the %maximum depth
of a tree . In this paper we show that the tree inclusion
problem can be solved in space and time: O(\min(l_Pn_T, l_Pl_T\log
\log n_T + n_T, \frac{n_Pn_T}{\log n_T} + n_{T}\log n_{T})). This improves or
matches the best known time complexities while using only linear space instead
of quadratic. This is particularly important in practical applications, such as
XML databases, where the space is likely to be a bottleneck.Comment: Minor updates from last tim
Structure-guided design and optimization of small molecules targeting the protein-protein interaction between the von hippel-lindau (VHL) E3 ubiquitin ligase and the hypoxia inducible factor (HIF) alpha subunit with in vitro nanomolar affinities
E3 ubiquitin ligases are attractive targets in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, however, the development of small-molecule ligands has been rewarded with limited success. The von Hippel-Lindau protein (pVHL) is the substrate recognition subunit of the VHL E3 ligase that targets HIF-1Îą for degradation. We recently reported inhibitors of the pVHL:HIF-1Îą interaction, however they exhibited moderate potency. Herein, we report the design and optimization, guided by X-ray crystal structures, of a ligand series with nanomolar binding affinities
Pola Gaya Hidup dalam Keuangan Keluarga (Studi Kasus:unit Kerja Institusi Pendidikan Swasta di Bandung)
This research was conducted to discover lifestyle patterns in family finances. This research was conducted in a private educational institution in Bandung. Data collection technique used in this research is survey technique with questionnaires and the data analysis technique that used in this study is descriptive analysis. It has been found that the lifestyle patterns of employees at one of private educational institution in Bandung generally still have a good patterns. This is proved by the monetary sequences of their revenues and expenses. Also, the priority selection of their needs and wants in fulfilling their life style is still in control. From this research, it is known generally the respondents already have their own house, vehicles, and mobile communication devices like hand phone. The purchasing frequency of hand phone in average is less than 2 times per year. Moreover, the respondents have already had a habit of saving/investing and buying insurance. To fill their spare time, respondents prefer to gather with their family, go to mall with frequency of 1-4 times per month and do exercise. But, the problem that needs to be taken care of is how to handle their credit cards/loans because a lot of respondents have routine spending of paying credit card installment/loans. From this research, it is also found that there is still a lack of awareness for making simple bookkeeping of their revenues and expenses. Therefore to make them family finances literate, they need to follow a counseling and training on family finances. Even, they are suggested to follow the counseling and training with their family members

Bar Evolution Over the Last Eight Billion Years: A Constant Fraction of Strong Bars in GEMS
One third of present-day spirals host optically visible strong bars that
drive their dynamical evolution. However, the fundamental question of how bars
evolve over cosmological times has yet to be addressed, and even the frequency
of bars at intermediate redshifts remains controversial. We investigate the
frequency of bars out to z~1.0 drawing on a sample of 1590 galaxies from the
GEMS survey, which provides morphologies from HST ACS two-color images, and
highly accurate redshifts from the COMBO-17 survey. We identify spiral galaxies
using the Sersic index, concentration parameter, and rest-frame color. We
characterize bars and disks by fitting ellipses to F606W and F850LP images,
taking advantage of the two bands to minimize bandpass shifting. We exclude
highly inclined (i>60 deg) galaxies to ensure reliable morphological
classifications, and apply completeness cuts of M_v <= -19.3 and -20.6. More
than 40% of the bars that we detect have semi major axes a<0.5" and would be
easily missed in earlier surveys without the small PSF of ACS. The bars that we
can reliably detect are fairly strong (with ellipticities e>=0.4) and have a in
the range ~1.2-13 kpc. We find that the optical fraction of such strong bars
remains at ~(30% +- 6%) from the present-day out to look-back times of 2-6 Gyr
(z~0.2-0.7) and 6-8 Gyr (z~0.7-1.0); it certainly shows no sign of a drastic
decline at z>0.7. Our findings of a large and similar bar fraction at these
three epochs favor scenarios in which cold gravitationally unstable disks are
already in place by z~1, and where on average bars have a long lifetime (well
above 2 Gyr). The distributions of structural bar properties in the two slices
are, however, not statistically identical and therefore allow for the
possibility that the bar strengths and sizes may evolve over time.Comment: Accepted by ApJ Letters, to appear in Nov 2004 issue. Minor

Sterol 14Îą-Demethylase as a Potential Target for Antitrypanosomal Therapy: Enzyme Inhibition and Parasite Cell Growth
SummarySterol 14Îą-demethylases (CYP51) serve as primary targets for antifungal drugs, and specific inhibition of CYP51s in protozoan parasites Trypanosoma brucei (TB) and Trypanosoma cruzi (TC) might provide an effective treatment strategy for human trypanosomiases. Primary inhibitor selection is based initially on the cytochrome P450 spectral response to ligand binding. Ligands that demonstrate strongest binding parameters were examined as inhibitors of reconstituted TB and TC CYP51 activity in vitro. Direct correlation between potency of the compounds as CYP51 inhibitors and their antiparasitic effect in TB and TC cells implies essential requirements for endogenous sterol production in both trypanosomes and suggests a lead structure with a defined region most promising for further modifications. The approach developed here can be used for further large-scale search for new CYP51 inhibitors
