    Wavelet transform based new interpolation technique for satellite image resolution enhancement

    In this research paper, we propose a new interpolation technique based on the Stationary Wavelet Transform (SWT) and iterative back projection (IBP) for satellite images. Firstly the low resolution image is interpolated by using bicubic interpolation and then decomposed into different subband images by SWT. Each subband is decimated to four lower low resolution images. The four low resolution images are interpolated and registered by using bicubic interpolation and IBP respectively. Inverse SWT (ISWT) is used to generate a Super-resolved output image. The proposed interpolation technique has been tested on several remote sensing images. The quantitative PSNR and SSIM results as well as the visual results show the superiority of the proposed interpolation technique over the other interpolation and image resolution enhancement techniques. For one of the images the PSNR of the proposed method has achieved 3.84dB, 2.11dB, and 1.1dB more improvements than bicubic interpolation, Irani and Peleg technique, and Wavlet Zero Padding technique respectively

Population used was the entire women's atlet Shorinji Kempo Rumbai Pekanbaru as many as 8 people. This study uses total sampling technique the entire population sampled. Based on the determination of sample, the sampel of 8 people. As the independent variable (x) was training twistink trunk curl while the dependent variable (y) is the Power and endurance abdominal muscle. Were obtained and collected through the free test and post test before and after exercise twistink trunk curl using a meansuring tool that is sit up 30 second Test. The methodof processing data using descriptive statistics calculation sand to test the hypothes is using the t test.The hypothesis proposed in this studyis the effect ofexercise twistink trunk curl To Power and endurance abdominal muscle In the women atlets Shorinji Kempo Rumbai Pekanbaru.The result softhe ttest produced 20,44 and 1,895ttableat thesignificant leve lof 0.05.     The development pattern of Eretan Wetan Coastal Fishery Port needs to be adjust to the development of fishery activities. The aims of this research are to analyze operational level PPP Eretan Wetan and analyze the level of utilization of basic and functional facilities. As soon as formulating to strategies building the operational capacity of PPP Eretan Wetan. The used method is by using the descriptive survey method with case study. Data are collected through observation, interviews, documentation and collected data from PPP Eretan Wetan. Data collection process is limited only in the periode of 2007 – 2011. SWOT analysis is used to determine the operational capacity. From the research result, it can be found that the level operational and utilization rate of facilities in PPP Eretan Wetan not all used optimally, can be seen from the use of the pier, which is 12,5% and 27% auction house. Strategy to increase the operational capacity of P PP Eretan Wetan is: continue the development of PPP aggressively, quickly add basic amenities, functional and support that has not been met, groove cruise facilities should frequently in dredging due to silting, providing docking facilities and ice plants; addition of fleet fishing vessels, so that fish production can be optimized, increasing the quality of human resources through training and empowerment of fishermen and baskets, Developing cooperation with the fish processing industry; additional support facilities and improved quality of fish marketing facilities to support the marketing of fish, and increase the number of environmentally friendly fishing gear that accordance with the target economically important fisheries

    Diagnostic and prognostic accuracy of miR-21 in renal cell carcinoma: A systematic review protocol

    Introduction: Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is the most common neoplasm in adult kidneys. One of the most important unmet medical needs in RCC is a prognostic biomarker to enable identification of patients at high risk of relapse after nephrectomy. New biomarkers can help improve diagnosis and hence the management of patients with renal cancer. Thus, this systematic review aims to clarify the prognostic and diagnostic accuracy of miR-21 in patients with RCC. Methods and analysis: We will include observational studies evaluating the diagnostic and prognostic roles of miR-21 in patients with renal cancer. The index test and reference standards should ideally be performed on all patients. We will search PubMed, SCOPUS and ISI Web of Science with no restriction of language. The outcome will be survival measures in adult patients with RCC. Study selection and data extraction will be performed by two independent reviewers. QUADAS-1 will be used to assess study quality. Publication bias and data synthesis will be assessed by funnel plots and Begg's and Egger's tests using Stata software V.11.1. Ethics and dissemination: No ethical issues are predicted. These findings will be published in a peerreviewed journal and presented at national and international conferences. Trail registration number: This systematic review protocol is registered in the PROSPERO International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews, registration number CRD42015025001

    Supervised machine learning for 3D light microscopy without manual annotation : application to spheroids

    We demonstrate the possibility to realize supervised machine learning for a cell detection task without having to manually annotate images through the sole use of synthetic images in the training and testing steps of the learning process. This is successfully illustrated on 3D cellular aggregates observed under light sheet fluorescence microscopy with a shallow and deep learning detection approach. A performance of more than 90% of good detection is obtained on real images

    Dielectric elastomer stack actuator-based autofocus fluid lens

    Extremely small cameras and many cell phones simply do not have enough room to allow users to move a rigid lens the distance required for a varying range of focal lengths. An adaptive liquid lens, however, enables small cameras to focus without needing extra room. An autofocus liquid lens provides several advantages over a traditional lens in terms of efficiency, cost, compactness, and flexibility. But one of the main challenges in these lenses is a high driving voltage requirement of around at least 1.8 kV. In this paper, we propose a new design of a liquid lens based on a dielectric elastomer stack actuator (DESA), which significantly overcomes the aforementioned existing problem. The lens consists of a frame (a thin DESA membrane with a hole in the middle), silicon oil, and water. A voltage range is applied on the membrane in order to change the hole dimension. Due to change of hole dimension, a change in meniscus occurs that changes the focal length of the lens. In this research work, various experimental results are achieved by configuring two DESA with different active areas. Depending on the active area of the membrane, the length of the laser beam on the plane varies from 6 to 35 mm, and the driving voltage is in the range of 50–750 V
