    Genius Learning menggunakan gaya belajar yang berdasarkan pendekatan preferensi sensori dan profil kecerdasan (multiple intellegence). Penerapan strategi Genius Learning, berangkat dengan satu keyakinan dan pengharapan bahwa apabila setiap anak didik dapat dimotivasi dengan tepat dan diajar dengan cara yang benar yang menghargai keunikanya maka semua dapat mencapai suatu hasil pembelajaran yang maksimal. Hasil yang diperoleh terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan genius learning di kelas eksprimen dengan kelas yang diajarkan konvensional di kelas kontrol pada materi pokok fisika topik listrik dinamis di kelas IX SMP Swasta Raksana Medan Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010. Ini berarti ada pengaruh strategi genius learning di kelas eksperimen yang memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik

    The Effect of Learning Inquiry Training Model on Student Learning Outcomes on Measurement Materials

    This research aims to know the effect of learning model of inquiry learning results students training material measurement. This type of research is quasi experiment. Sampling done by cluster random sampling by taking 2 classes from grade 9 i.e. class X SCIENCE experiments as a class-B that add up to 35 people and class X SCIENCE-C as control classes that add up to 35 people. The instruments used to find out the results of student learning is the learning outcomes tests have been validated in multiple choice form numbered 15 reserved and activity sheets students. The results of the value obtained 37.71 pretes and postest 70.11. The t-test analysis retrieved thitung greater than ttabel so that it can be concluded no difference due to the influence of the learning model of inquiry learning results students training material measurement

    Identifikasi dan Uji Toksisitas Ekstrak Metanol dari Daun Tanaman Sirsak (Annona Muricata L)

    Soursoup (Annona muricata L) was used in herbal medicine. This Annonaceae familymember contains alkaloids, tannins, and several other chemical constituents, includingasetogenin that allegedly to have cytotoxic potential. The n-hexane and methanolmacerating method was applied to isolate the secondary metabolites from the stem barkof this plant. The separation was carried out by vacuum liquid chromatography (VLC),column chromatography, and gel chromatography respectively. Characterization of thefractions was established using UV-Vis and FTIR spectrophotometry. Toxicity assaywas conducted by Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method. The LC 50 of 3 rd to 11 thfractionts of the methanol extract wer 4481.25; 37; 11.46; 0.85; 3.02; 0.23; 10.97; 8.53and 4093 ppm, respectively. The 3 rd and 11 th fractionts were not toxic, whereas otherfractions were toxic and potential to be used as an anticancer

    On the link between conscious function and general intelligence in humans and machines

    In popular media, there is often a connection drawn between the advent of awareness in artificial agents and those same agents simultaneously achieving human or superhuman level intelligence. In this work, we explore the validity and potential application of this seemingly intuitive link between consciousness and intelligence. We do so by examining the cognitive abilities associated with three contemporary theories of conscious function: Global Workspace Theory (GWT), Information Generation Theory (IGT), and Attention Schema Theory (AST). We find that all three theories specifically relate conscious function to some aspect of domain-general intelligence in humans. With this insight, we turn to the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and find that, while still far from demonstrating general intelligence, many state-of-the-art deep learning methods have begun to incorporate key aspects of each of the three functional theories. Given this apparent trend, we use the motivating example of mental time travel in humans to propose ways in which insights from each of the three theories may be combined into a unified model. We believe that doing so can enable the development of artificial agents which are not only more generally intelligent but are also consistent with multiple current theories of conscious function

    Perancangan Sistem Scheduling Job Menggunakan Drum Buffer Rope untuk Meminimasi Keterlambatan Order dan Manufacturing Lead TIME pada Bagian Machining Mpm di PT Dirgantara Indonesia

    PT Dirgantara Indonesia (DI) adalah Perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur pesawat. Salah satu bagian produksi di PT DI yaitu bagian Machining, Medium Perismatic Machine (MPM), memiliki jumlah mesin terbanyak dan menerima order dengan jumlah terbanyak terutama untuk program Airbus. Proses pada Machining terdiri atas preoperation, main operation, dan next operation. Main operation yaitu di work center Deckel Maho memiliki waktu proses terlama dibandingkan proses lainnya sehingga terjadi bottleneck. Secara kapasitas Deckel Maho masih mampu memenuhi order yang datang, namun sistem kerja pada preoperation masih berdasarkan utilitas sehingga order release dilakukan tanpa melihat beban di Deckel Maho. Rata-rata Manufacturing Lead Time (MLT) existing adalah 47,66 jam dan rata-rata queue time di depan Deckel Maho adalah 24,47 jam. Masalah keterlambatan penyelesaian order juga terjadi di MPM yang disebabkan oleh rule sequencing yang digunakan adalah First Come First Served. Rule ini tidak sesuai dengan kondisi aktual di shop floor. Dalam mencapai tujuan penyelesaian order yang tepat waktu dan minimasi MLT, maka diusulkan penjadwalan dengan pendekatan metode drum buffer rope, yaitu menjadwalkan stasiun bottleneck sebagai control point dan sumber daya non bottleneck lainnya mengikuti penjadwalan stasiun bottleneck tersebut. Aturan sequencing yang diusulkan adalah Earliest Due date sebagai prioritas pertama untuk meminimasi jumlah order yang terlambat. Apabila terdapat due date di quality control yang sama, maka pertimbangkan total time di Deckel Maho yang terkecil untuk diprioritaskan dengan Shortest Processing Time untuk meminimasi flow time. Apabila total time di Deckel Maho sama, maka pilih order secara random. Setelah menggunakan drum buffer rope, MLT usulan menjadi 20,39 jam dan queue time menjadi 2,71 jam. Order yang terlambat di bulan Februari pada kondisi existing dengan rule sequencing FCFS adalah 5 order sedangkan pada kondisi usulan tidak ada order yang terlambat

    : Premarital sex is one of the biggest problems regarding various case of juvenile delinquency. Teenagers with well knowledge about premarital sex will tend to have positive attitude or go away from premarital sex behavior. Goal of this research was to know the attitude of teenagers about premarital sex behavior to X grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Manado. This research was based on observational studies by the approach of cross sectional study. Sample was taken by purposive sampling technique with a total of 68 respondents. Instrument used in this research was questionnaire. Results of this was used statistical technique of Chi square test with degrees of freedom = 0,05 or 95%. From the statistical test the value gotten was p = 0,000 < α = 0,05. Conclusion of this research that there are relationships between knowledge and attitude of teenagers about premarital sex behavior to X grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Manado
