Satisfaction conditions in anticipatory mechanisms
The purpose of this paper is to present a general mechanistic framework for analyzing causal representational claims, and offer a way to distinguish genuinely representational explanations from those that invoke representations for honorific purposes. It is usually agreed that rats are capable of navigation (even in complete darkness, and when immersed in a water maze) because they maintain a cognitive map of their environment. Exactly how and why their neural states give rise to mental representations is a matter of an ongoing debate. I will show that anticipatory mechanisms involved in rats’ evaluation of possible routes give rise to satisfaction conditions of contents, and this is why they are representationally relevant for explaining and predicting rats’ behavior. I argue that a naturalistic account of satisfaction conditions of contents answers the most important objections of antirepresentationalists

Nosing Analysis of Pressure Cylinders
Import 31/08/2009V diplomové práci je prováděna analýza tváření hrdel tlakových lahví. Hlavním cílem je vytvořit realistický model tohoto procesu v programu QForm pro větší průměr lahve – 360 mm. Analýza je provedena pro dvě rychlosti přísuvu zápustky: 250 mm/s a 350 mm/s. K vytvoření modelu bylo využito poskytnuté výkresové dokumentace a vstupních hodnot. Materiálem polotovaru je ocel 34CrMo4. Následně získané parametry procesu, především sílu a kroutící moment, budou využity k navržení nového kovacího stroje určeného pro větší průměry lahví.The dissertation focuses on the analysis of pressure bottle neck forming. The main goal is to generate a realistic model of this process in the QForm program for a larger bottle diameter – 360 mm. The analysis has been carried out for two die feed motion speeds: 250 mm/s and 350 mm/s. In order to generate the model the provided drawing documentation and output values were used. The semi-product material is 34CrMo4 steel. The subsequently gained process parameters, the force and torque in particular, will be used to design a new forging machine specified for larger bottle diameters.345 - Katedra mechanické technologievýborn
