Significaciones sobre violencia y paz en niños de diferentes estratos socioeconómicos

El presente estudio tiene como propósito explorar y analizar los conceptos y significados de violencia y paz, que cuatro niños y niñas de nueve y diez años han construido a partir de sus contextos. Se hizo uso de una aproximación ideográfica para entender las narrativas individuales y colectivas de estos niños y niñas, donde se reconocieron sus historias, imaginarios y prácticas de vida alrededor de la violencia y la paz. A su vez, se realizó un estudio comparativo, pues dos de los participantes pertenecen a estrato uno del municipio de Soacha y los otros dos pertenecen a estrato seis. Los hallazgos giran en torno a que existen diferencias entre los cuatro niños y sus narrativas independientes. Es por el contexto donde se desarrollan y las relaciones interpersonales que cada uno posee, que se construyen significados y discursos en torno a la violencia y la paz.This study has as a purpose to explore and analyze the construction of meanings about concepts of violence and peace, that boys and girls between the ages of nine and ten build in their own contexts. An ideographic method is used as an attempt to understand the individual and collective meanings of the participants, who describe and recreate particular situations in their daily life. At the same time it was a comparative study, the four children belong to different social classes. The findings of the study include that there are differences between the kids and the narratives of each one of them. Because of the environment where they develop and their personal relationships, each one of them has the capability to build their own meaning and speech for violence and peace.Psicólogo (a)Pregrad
