Soliton collisions in Bose-Einstein condensates with current-dependent interactions
We study general collisions between chiral solitons in Bose-Einstein
condensates subject to combined attractive and current-dependent interatomic
interactions. A simple analysis based on the linear superposition of the
solitons allows us to determine the relevant time and space scales of the
dynamics, which is illustrated by extensive numerical simulations. By varying
the differential amplitude, the relative phase, the average velocity, and the
relative velocity of the solitons, we characterize the different dynamical
regimes that give rise to oscillatory and interference phenomena. Apart from
the known inelastic character of the collisions, we show that the chiral
dynamics involves an amplitude reduction with respect to the case of regular
solitons. To compare with feasible ultracold gas experiments, the influence of
harmonic confinement is analyzed in both the emergence and the interaction of
chiral solitons.Comment: 15 pages, 12 figure
Can TM system form an unconditional basis for Banach spaces?
The research on the algorithm of analytic signal has received much attention
for a long time. Takenaka-Malmquist (TM) system was introduced to consider
analytic functions in 1925. If TM system satisfies hyperbolic inseparability
condition, then it is an orthogonal basis. It can form unconditional basis for
Hilbert space and Schauder basis for Banach space
. In characterizing a function space, a
necessary condition is whether the basis is unconditional. But since the
introduction of TM systems in 1925, to the best of our knowledge, no one has
proved the existence of a TM system capable of forming an unconditional basis
for Banach space . TM system has a simple and
intuitive analytical structure. Hence it is applied also to the learning
algorithms and systematically developed to the reproducing kernel Hilbert
spaces (RKHS). Due to the lack of unconditional basis properties, it cannot be
extended to the reproducing kernel Banach spaces (RKBS) algorithm. But the case
of Banach space plays an important role in machine learning. In this paper, we
prove that two TM systems can form unconditional basis for
Validation of Konsung Compass 2000 Dry Biochemical Analyzer
Dry biochemical analyzers have been increasingly popular in many tests by primary hospitals, field hospitals and other areas subject to economic and medical underdevelopment as well as poor transportation. With the increasing demand for POCT in primary medical care around the world, upgrading of dry biochemical analyzers has been a hot topic in technical research. Against such context, Konsung Compass2000 dry biochemical analyzer, a POCT system with high precision and accuracy, is developed. Furthermore, the upgraded dry biochemical analyzers can, in a more convenient and accurate way, monitor glucose, lipid and other indices affecting the course of chronic diseases
A case study of College English teachers' emotional experiences in the blended teaching context
The current research on language teacher education has witnessed a surge in studies focusing on teacher emotions due to their recognized importance in teaching. However, limited efforts have been found to investigate the emotions of Chinese College English teachers in the blended teaching context. This qualitative case study aims to uncover the emotional experiences of four Chinese College English teachers and explore the causes of their emotions in the blended teaching context. Data for the study was primarily gathered through interviews and case documents. The findings indicate that teachers in Eastern China experienced more positive emotions than negative emotions in the blended teaching context, while teachers in Western China exhibited the reverse pattern. These emotions were caused by their continuous appraisal of the interaction between their personal goals and various ecological systems. The research findings underscore the crucial role of teacher emotion in blended teaching and provide implications for enhancing blended teaching practices
Advanced Research on cis-Neonicotinoids
cis-Neonicotinoids are a type of neonicotinoid, in which the nitro or the cyano group are in cis-configuration relative to heteroaromatic moiety, which show excellent activities against a range of insect species. This review covers cis-neonicotinoids with commercialization
perspectives, structural optimization (phenylazoneonicotinoids and chlorothiazolyl analogues of Paichongding), modes of action studies, radiao-synthesis of Paichongding and Cycloxaprid, and photostability of neonicotinoids
Transcriptome analysis of Rpl11-deficient zebrafish model of Diamond-Blackfan Anemia
AbstractTo comprehensively reflect the roles of Rpl11 on the transcriptome of zebrafish model of Diamond-Blackfan Anemia (DBA), we performed whole-genome transcriptome sequencing on the Illumina Hi-Seq 2000 sequencing platform. Two different transcriptomes of zebrafish Rpl11-deficient and control Morpholino (Mo) embryos were collected and analyzed. The experimental design and methods, including sample preparation, RNA-Seq data evaluation and treatment, were described in details so that representative high-throughput sequencing data were acquired for assessing the actual impacts of Rpl11 on zebrafish embryos. We provided the accession number GSE51326 for easy access to the database
Integrated analysis of long non-coding RNAs and mRNAs associated with glaucoma in vitro
IntroductionIn recent years, the biological functions and important roles of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been widely reported in many diseases. Although glaucoma is the leading cause of blindness worldwide, the specific mechanisms of lncRNAs in the pathogenesis and progression of glaucoma remain unclear. Our research aims to elucidate the differentially expressed lncRNAs and mRNAs in glaucoma and to provide a basis for further exploration of the specific mechanism of action of lncRNAs in the progression of glaucoma.MethodsWe performed RNA sequencing on samples from a pressurized model of R28 cells and performed bioinformatics analyses on the sequencing results. The expression consistency of lncRNAs in clinical samples from patients with glaucoma or cataracts was detected using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR).ResultsRNA sequencing results showed that lncRNAs in cluster 5 were upregulated with increasing stress after typing all significantly altered lncRNAs using k-means in a cellular stress model. KEGG analysis indicated that they were associated with neurodegenerative diseases. Differentially expressed lncRNAs were verified by RT-qPCR, and the lncRNA expression levels of AC120246.2 and XLOC_006247 were significantly higher in the aqueous humor (AH) of patients with glaucoma than in those with cataracts. For LOC102551819, there was almost no expression in the AH and trabecular meshwork in patients with glaucoma but high expression was observed in the iris. ConclusionOur research proposes potential diagnostic or intervention targets for clinical applications as well as a theoretical basis for more in-depth research on the function of lncRNAs in glaucoma
