Investment is a number of commitments or a number of funds or resources made at this time with the aim of obtaining future profits. One method that can be used to form an optimal portfolio is to use the mean variace approach. Asset selection is carried out on food commodities namely rice, eggs, cooking oil, granulated sugar, and red chili. From the data processing it is found that the weight of each commodity is cooking oil (99.95%), eggs (0.03%), granulated sugar (0.04%), red chili is negative (-0.02%), and rice (0.00%). So that it can be estimated that the expected profit is -0.0024% and risk is 0.0001%

Desain dan Perancangan Prototype Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Bayu Model Savonious

Angin adalah energy yang mudah ditemukan dalam keseharian dan juga merupakan energi yang tidak akan pernah habis,namun pemanfaatan energy angin ini masih sangat rendah  karena potensi angin yang tergolong rendah yaitu berkisar 3 hingga 5 m/s,untuk memanfaatkan energy angin ini untuk menjadi energy yang tepat guna dan upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah salah satunya dengan merancang kincir angin untuk menghasilkan listrik dengtan energy yang tergolong rendah tersebut. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan dengan merancang kincir angin jenis vertical jenis savonious ini,perancangan ini dimaksudkan agar mampu memanfaatkan energy angin untuk dikonversikan kedalam bentuk energy listrik. Untuk itu, dalam perancangan  ini dikembangkan prototipe dengan melakukan perancangan kincir angin savonious untuk pembangkit tenaga listrik menggunakan generator DC untuk menghasilkan energi listrik yang maksimal dengan memanfaatkan kecepatan angin yang relatif rendah. Dengan perancangan ini dapat membangkitkan listrik dengan menggunakan kincir angin savonious 3 sirip,dengan menggunakan kecepatan 2.6 m/s di ambil rata-rata 300.4 mV dan 3.03 mA, kecepatan 3.3 m/s diambil rata-rata 370.8 mV dan 3.91 mA dan  kecepatan ke 3.7 m/s diperoleh rata-rata 421 mV dan 4.56 mA

Kinerja Soil Stabilizer Polymer Termoset Terhadap Sifat Fisik dan Sifat Mekanis Tanah Pasir sebagai Material Jalan

Soil stabilizer polymer hasil campuran lateks polyester tak jenuh Yukalac 157 BQTN-EX dengan lateks pekat karet alam (LPKA),  disebut soil stabilizer termoset (SSTS). Campuran ini homogen pada perbandingan 90/10 dan stabil hingga hari ke 28 penyimpanan, dapat digunakan sebagai perekat tanah pasir untuk meningkatkan sifat kekuatannya. Melalui berinteraksi gugus polar pada polester dengan partikel tanah pasir diprediksi dapat membentuk komposit yang memiliki sifat mekanis yang tangguh sebagai material jalan. Hasil uji mekanis komposit tanah yang distabilkan dengan SSTS  meningkat hingga penambahan SSTS 35%. Kuat tekan meningkat hingga penambahan  SSTS 25% dan menurun pada penambahan  lebih tinggi . Daya serap air menurun dengan peningkatan jumlah SSTS. Hasil uji termal terdapat pergeseran puncak dari  polyester, SSTS dan komposit campuran SSTS dengan tanah pasir
