    Woman and Man\u27s Speech Style Used by the Main Characters in Lol (Laughing Out Loud) Movie

    Language is important for the society because it is part of human life. In common communication, a person may use a certain code or variety that is called as style. The style which occurs in spoken discourse is called as speech style. Speech styles are the characteristics mode arranging the words, particularly the use of language between male and female. In this study, the writer is interested in investigating the differences between woman and man which is reflected in LOL movie. The research problems of this study are (1) What are the speech style used by the female main characters in LOL movie?; (2) What are the speech style used by the male main characters in LOL movie? This study used descriptive qualitative approach. The data were the conversations between the female and male main characters. In analyzing the data, the writer used gender differentiation theory proposed by Adelaide Haas (1979, p.616). It is stated that male speech and female speech style have been observed to differ in their form, topic, content, and use. The finding shows that both women and men have differences in the way of speaking. Based on form, female characters tend to swear and use more slang words while man character does not show it. Based on the topic, women are likely to talk about life\u27s trouble, pornography, and life style. The topic that man builds in this movie is also the life trouble. The content of the conversation of this movie supports the theory that woman has positive value judgment and man has hostile judgment. Based on use, women are assertive while men are nonassertive. In conclusion, based on Adelaide Haas\u27 theory, the writer found out that women and men language are mostly different. It happened because women like to maintain the relationship between each other while men like to say what they want to say

    Reward merupakan suatu penghargaan yang diberikan kepada seseorang yang memiliki kelebihan biasanya reward diberikan kepada orang yang memiliki prestasi, berperilaku baik, rajin, tekun, dan lain-lain, reward berlaku disetiap instansi pada anak usia dini reward menjadi pegangan para guru dalam mengkondisikan anak di kelas pada setiap kegiatan pembelajaran dan hal ini akan berpengaruh terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu penulis ingin mengetahui bagaimana penerapan reward dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar pada anak usia dini di TK Tunas Muda II Karas Magetan dan ingin mengetahui apakah reward dapat mempengaruhi kemandirian belajar anak di Taman Kanak-kanak dan dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode bermain sambil belajar, diagram bintang, pemberian hadiah berupa benda/barang yang membuat anak bangga dan disukai oleh anak. Penelitian ini langsung meneliti kegiatan belajar mengajar siswa, kegiatan guru, kepala sekolah, dan keadaan lingkungan sekolah. Peneliti juga meneliti bagaimana cara siswa atau peserta didik dalam menghadapi masalah, aktivitas keseharian di dalam kelas, guru dalam menghadapi perilaku siswanya dalam kemandirian belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian penulis bahwa reward diterima berbeda-beda oleh anak tergantung cara pemberian reward itu diberikan kepada anak dengan pemberian yang mendidik maka setiap anak akan menerimanya dengan semangat dan merupakan suatu penghargaan, peneliti berharap semoga dalam penelitian ini berdampak baik dan menjadi acuan belajar yang baik bagi siswa, guru dalam mengkondisikan anak di kelas agar kemandirian belajar anakakan tercipta dengan baik

    The objectives of research are to explain the method and procedure of recruitment used by PDAM of Malang City; to elaborate the method and procedure of selection used by PDAM of Malang City; and to provide explanation about the judgment used by PDAM of Malang City over the applicant to obtain the qualified employee. Research type is descriptive qualitative. Data collection technique involves interview and documentation. The results showed that PDAM Malang in using an external recruitment by utilizing newspapers and internet media with the online registration system to recruit appicants, recruitment procedure started from report fields that require employees to the board of directors, then from the board of directors to HR, and HR process further. Selection is done by two methods, namely the selection method of administration and management selection methods. Selection procedure by PDAM of Malang city from the test theory, practice test, interview, test academic aptitude test, the interview board of directors, and the last is a health test.     Kebersihan makanan dan minuman sangatlah penting, karena berkaitan dengan kondisi tubuh manusia, terutama makanan dan minuman yang dikonsumsi oleh anak-anak, karena mereka memiliki imunitas yang lebihrentan terhadap penyakit. Namun, kebanyakan dari anak usia sekolah mempunyai kebiasaan untuk jajan. Sering kali jajanan tersebut dijajakan di pinggir jalan atau di pinggir saluran pembuangan air dan ditempatkan pada area terbuka sehingga memudahkan terjadinya kontak antara pangan yang dijajakan dengan mikroba. Padahal mikroba adalah salah satu penyebab dari berbagai penyakit (foodborne disease). Penelitian ini meneliti kualitas makanan jajanan anak sekolah dasar dengan melihat adanya bakteri Escherichia coli yang terkandung dalam jajanan tersebut. Sampel makanan berasal dari penjaja jajanan yang berdagang di sekitar sekolah dasar di daerah Sisingamangaraja. Sampel yang diambil merupakan makanan yang tidak mengalami pemanasan sebelum disajikan dan minuman yang dibuat saat akan disajikan dan tidakdikemas secara tertutup. Dilakukan tiga metode pengujian, yaitu uji pemeriksaan mikroba, uji pemeriksaan Coliform dan uji konfirmasi E.coli.uji pemeriksaan mikroba menggunakan Nutrient Agar sebagai media umum, uji pemeriksaan Coliform menggunakan Lactose Broth dan Brilliant Green Lactose Broth sebagai media khusus untuk menguji keberadaanColiform, dan uji konfirmasi Eschrichia coli menggunakan Eosin Methylane Blue Agar sebagai media khusus untuk pengujian Escherichia coli. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan hasil yang positif terhadap adanya bakteri pada media umum, bakteri Coliform dan diduga terdapat bakteri Escherichia coli pada kedua sampel. Untuk itu, diperlukan pengujian lebih lanjut guna memastikan bakteri yang terkandung adalah Escherichia coli

    Pleurotus ostreatus or white oyster mushroom had been produced commercially on an industrial scale as food and supplements. It is because of this oyster mushroom contained nutritions that were nutriceutical benefit. These fungi acted as anti-tumor, lower cholesterol and anti-oxidants. Based on the wealth of information on the nutritions and the many benefits of this white oyster mushroom, we run the research to obtain information related to the potent of oyster mushrooms in mice. So that white oyster mushroom can be used as a potent medicine to heal various diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the potency of white oyster mushroom as nutrition growth in mice. This study began with the optimization of the white oyster flour making. Mice in dose of 100 mg / KgBW showed the highest body weight compared to other doses. In the body length parameter indicated that the treatment group with dose of 100 mg / KgBW gave an average body longest compared to other groups. This dose also rise the highest feed intake while the group with the least amount of feed intake was in dose of 200 mg / KgBW

    This study aims to determine how the synergy District Government Kepulaun Meranti in waste management. This study uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research, which can be interpreted as a problem-solving process was investigated by describing the state of the research subjects were based on the facts that appear during the study were then followed by the popularity of existing theories.Based on the results of this study concluded that synergy Kepulauan Meranti regency government in waste management in 2016 had not been effective. Waste management do Office Market, Hygiene and conducting collection and pengakutan rubbish you may have on household waste and rubbish commerce. While the Department of Public Works do the construction of roads and bridges to facilitate the flow of transport of transporting waste, construction of TPS made of concrete / cast to facilitate people throw garbage, construction of drainage as cleanup efforts drains so that the waste does not accumulate in trenches and facilitate attendant waste collector for membersihaknya, besides TPA to establish areas as intended. The Environment Agency only empower the community in waste management through education and training recycle waste, but these activities have not shown significant results in waste management in Kepulauan Meranti District. Obstacles in the waste management collide at the disposal site (TPA) which is narrow, while the new location is very remote and there is no access to the landfill. Infrastructure landfill (garbage cans) and freight transport was minimal. Human resources owned is still very limited does not correspond with the area. Management of waste management is still using the old pattern or the traditional ie the way in fuel.     Effects of Education, Nutrition Status, Treatment Compliance, Family Income, and Family Support, on the Cure of Tuberculosis in Mojokerto, East Java

    Background: Tuberculosis is an important global public health issue. Countries around the world have committed to control the disease with various programs. However, the cure of Tuberculosis treatment in many countries is still low, which can hamper the success of Tuberculosis control program. Productivity of Tuberculosis patients continues to decrease that leads to socioeconomic burden. This study aimed to examine the effects of education, nutrition status, treatment compliance, family income, and family support, on the cure of Tuberculosis. Subjects and Method: This was an observational analytic study with case control design. The study was conducted in Mojokerto, East Java, from April to May, 2017. A total sample of 108 Tuberculosis patients were selected for this study by fixed disease sampling. The sample consisted of 35 uncured cases of Tuberculosis and 73 cured cases of Tuberculosis. The dependent variable was cure of Tuberculosis. The independent variables were education, nutrition status, treatment compliance, family income, and family support. The data was collected by a set of questionnaire and analyzed using path analysis. Results: Nutritional status (b= 1.31; 95% CI= 0.41 to 2.22; p= 0.004) and treatment compliance (b= 1.07; 95% CI= 0.17 to 1.97; p= 0.019) directly and positively affect the cure of Tuberculosis. Nutritional status was affected by high education (b= 1.62; 95% CI= 0.62 to 2.63; p= 0.002), family income (b= 1.66; 95% CI= 0.70 to 2.62; p= 0.001), and strong family support (b= 1.50; 95% CI= 0.36 to 2.63; p= 0.010). Treatment compliance was affected by high education (b= 0.84; 95% CI= -0.14 to 1.81; p= 0.093), family income (b= 1.36; 95% CI= 0.42 to 2.30; p= 0.005), and strong family support (b= 2.08; 95% CI = 0.96 to 3.19; p<0.001). Conclusion: Cure of Tuberculosis is directly affected by nutritional status and treatment compliance. Education, family support, and family income, indirectly affect cure of Tuberculosis.
