    Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berbantuan Alat Peraga untuk Meningkatkan Minat dan Hasil Belajar Fisika Siswa MA

    The implementation of the 2013 curriculum led to several innovations in the learning process including using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study aims to determine the interests and learning outcomes of students after being treated with the PBL model assisted by teaching aids. This type of research is a pre-experimental study with a one-shot case study design. The research sample consisted of 14 students of MA Uswatun Hasanah Semarang. The data collection technique used a written test instrument and a student interest questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of students analyzed by the N-gain test have increased with an N-gain coefficient of 0.21 which is included in the low criteria. The percentage of students' interest in learning obtained an average result of 81.786% so that it is categorized as very good. The results also showed that the use of the PBL model resulted in 85% completeness of the learning outcomes of the Circular Motion material so it could be concluded that the PBL model assisted by teaching aids had an influence on the learning outcomes of students

    Quality of Biocompost Resulting from Biopore Holes Based on Light Intensity and Acidity Degree (pH)

    The use of chemical fertilizers that are not balanced with the provision of organic fertilizers can damage the soil. Chemical fertilizers can also damage the balance of nutrients in the soil and lower soil pH. Therefore, organic fertilizers are needed to help restore soil fertility and LRB as a medium for composting organic fertilizers. The biopore infiltration hole (LRB) is "activated" by providing organic waste. This waste will be used as a source of energy for soil organisms to carry out their activities through the decomposition process. This decomposed waste is known as compost. Compost is a term for man-made organic fertilizer made from the decomposition process of the remains of living things (plants or animals). The investigation of this study was to determine the quality of compost based on light intensity and acidity (pH) from the results of biopore infiltration holes (LRB) as well as good physical properties of compost. This type of research is an experimental research. Good quality compost has low resistance. The pH value of the compost in samples A,B,D,E is 6.5-7.5 so it is neutral, while the pH of the compost sample C is 8.5 is alkaline. The intensity of the light is high. The results of the lowest light intensity in the compost from this study were leaf compost + sawdust + EM4 of 990 lux, fermented in LRB for 2 weeks. Meanwhile, the highest light intensity value was found in the compost of raw material leaves which were fermented for 1 month at 1017 lux. So the greater the value of light intensity in the compost, the better quality it has, because it can improve soil fertility. ©2019 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved

    Development of Online Mechanics Concept Inventory (OMCI) Instrument Based on Local Wisdom

    This study discusses the development of online mechanics concept inventory (OMCI) instrument based on local wisdom. The purpose of this study to determine the quality of the online mechanics concept inventory instrument based on local wisdom. The type of this research is Research and Development (RD). The developed instrument is integrated with local wisdom, so that every item has literacy as a stimulus for the question. The concept inventory instrument is one of the test tools presented online which is used to measure students' conceptual understanding. The research model used is Borg and Gall. The instrument developed were validated by expert judgment. The results of the validation assessment are in the form of qualitative and quantitative content validity. The results of qualitative validity can be seen in terms of materials obtained on an average of 99.2%, construction is averaged 93.3%, and language is averaged 97.4%. While the quantitative analysis of validity is done using Aiken's v equations obtained an average of 0.841 of valored 0.841 is so high, it is worth being used to measure understanding the conception of learners

    Pengaruh penggunaan modul fisika berbasis kearifan lokal pada materi usaha dan energi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 3 Kendal tahun ajaran 2016/2017

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 3 Kendal menggunakan modul fisika berbasis kearifan lokal pada materi usaha dan energi serta untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaan modul fisika berbasis kearifan lokal. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design yang hampir sama dengan desain pretest-posstest control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen. Rata-rata nilai siswa setelah diberi perlakuan menggunakan modul fisika berbasis kearifan lokal lebih tinggi yaitu 87,59 dibandingkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol yang tidak diberi perlakuan yaitu 79,33. Uji perbedaan dua rata-rata diperoleh thitung = 4,130 dan ttabel = 2,002 karena thitung > ttabel, maka hipotesis pengaruh penggunaan modul fisika berbasis kearifan lokal pada materi usaha dan energi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 3 Kendal yang diajukan dapat diterima. Rata-rata N-Gain tingkat pengaruh kelas eksperimen memperoleh 0,52 memiliki pengaruh berada pada kategori sedang dan kelas kontrol memperoleh 0,27 memiliki pengaruh berada pada kategori rendah. Respon siswa terhadap penggunaan modul fisika berbasis kearifan lokal memperoleh hasil yang sangat baik dengan rata-rata 84,7%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran menggunakan modul fisika berbasis kearifan lokal memberikan pengaruh yang baik ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa dan memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan modul fisika berbasis kearifan lokal
