    Influence of Computer Clipboard Transfer of Image Data on Print Quality Perception and Measurement

    In todayā€™s virtual environment transfer of data within the system is a necessary and standard operation. Computer clipboard is one of the common data transfer methods. This paper tests the changes in image data during the transfer from one program to another. Computer programs and systems use different standards, which causes changes in colour values due to different image standards used by programs and systems. Each transfer between programs causes adaptation of image data to new program standards. That shift is visible on images from inside the system. The difference grows even more on the printed sample. Calibration strip and photographs were used as research elements. Calibration strip was generated in Monaco Profiler. The analysis was performed on measured numerical values, and it showed significant colour changes in samples. The visual research was made on printed photo samples and has shown that the visibility of colour changes more or less depends on the motif type

    Zbog razlike između oblika zapisa pojedinih grafičkih alata dolazi do prilagođavanja podataka prilikom njihovog prijenosa. Ovaj rad istražuje promjene koje nastaju prijenosom piksel grafika između različitih grafičkih alata koriÅ”tenjem međuspremnika kroz određivanje sličnosti fotografija prije i nakon prijenosa te mjerenje razlika u vrijednostima boja koje su nastale tijekom prijenosa. U prvom ispitivanju od 132 planirana smjera prijenosa piksel grafika uspjeÅ”no je provedeno njih 91. Određivana sličnost fotografija prije i nakon prijenosa, izračunata po SSIM algoritmu, pokazala je da je u 11 slučajeva izvrÅ”en savrÅ”eni prijenos, odnosno prijenosom nije doÅ”lo do izmjene strukturnih informacija fotografije. Nadalje, u većini slučajeva (79,34%) prijenosom je nastala fotografija s malim odstupanjima u strukturi u odnosu na početnu fotografiju (SSIM indeks iznosi 0,9 do 0,99). Analizom rezultata drugog ispitivanja pokazalo se da su evidentirane visoke vrijednosti u razlikama boja nastalih tijekom prijenosa dobivene za boje koje na fotografijama zauzimaju malu povrÅ”inu te time nemaju veliki utjecaj na vidljivu kvalitetu prijenosa. U trećem ispitivanju, usporedbom dobivenih razlika u vrijednostima boja kod prijenosa grafika u RGB i CMYK prostoru boja, pokazalo se da koriÅ”teni prostor boja utječe na kvalitetu prijenosa, na način da se promjene u vrijednostima boja događaju manje pri koriÅ”tenju RGB nego CMYK prostora boja. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata moguće je potvrditi hipotezu da su promjene u vrijednostima boja u piksel grafikama nastale prijenosom međuspremnikom uzrokovane nekompatibilnoŔću operativnog sustava i grafičkih alata. Nadalje, potvrđeno je da, unatoč evidentiranim promjenama u vrijednostima boja, transformirane datoteke udovoljavaju kriterijima i prikladne su za svakodnevnu uporabu. Naposljetku, na temelju dobivenih rezultata moguće je vrednovanje sustava za upravljanje bojom na razini operativnog sustava te definiranje preporuka za koriÅ”tenje međuspremnika. Preporuke idu u smjeru da je opravdano koriÅ”tenje međuspremnika za svakodnevnu uporabu, no za profesionalnu uporabu preporučuje se izbjegavanje prijenosa međuspremnikom. Također, zbog manjih promjena vrijednosti boja, preporučuje se koriÅ”tenje RGB umjesto CMYK prostora boja za prijenos piksel grafika međuspremnikom

    Incunabula are printed materials created in Europe from the time of Johann Gutenberg\u27s invention until 1500. Incunabula originate from the Latin language (lat. Incunabulum) and mean cradle or the beginning of something. In this paper, the representation of individual states and cities in the creation of incunabula is investigated and presented. The persons responsible for such development are also listed. Special attention is given to the presentation of Croatian incunabula. The mentioned works describe the characteristic features. Incunabula testify to a high level of culture, standards, and technological development of a particular area. The studied works reveal and confirm, as confirmed in this paper, the attitude of society towards literacy, education, and the national culture of each nation. Tvrtka treba biti spretna u upravljanju odnosima s kupcima, upravljanju internim resursima te upravljanju poslovnim partnerima. Prema koncepciji marketinga ključ u postizanju ciljeva vidi se u kreiranju i isporuci superiornih vrijednosti za kupce na odabranom ciljnom tržiÅ”tu i prenoÅ”enje poruke njima učinkovitije od konkurencije. Služeći se strategijom niskih troÅ”kova, diferencijacije proizvoda i strategijom fokusiranja. Company should be skillfull in managing relations with buyers, managing internal resources, and managing business partners. Defined by conception of marketing, key to fulfilling the goals is shown in creating and delivering superior values to buyers on a chosen market, and delivering the message to them better than the competition. For this, strategy of low cost, product diferentiation and focus strategy are used. Positive value for buyers is a result of choosing the values, delivering the values and sending the message about the values. Consumers don't buy the product, they buy value. Value that comes from a product is delivered by it's possession and use. In this way the needs and aspirations of consumers are fullfilled, what evenutally leads to a certain value for consumers. With the example of Natura Ltd, it is shown how can a company deliver to its buyers and consumers value that they want and need

    Der Zusammenhang von Persƶnlichkeitsfaktoren und einigen dynamischen Eigenschaften des kognitiven Systems

    Rad se bavi razmatranjem odnosa faktora ličnosti i nekih dinamičkih osobina funkcioniranja ljudskoga kognitivnoga sustava. Provedene su mjere ličnosti prema petofaktorskom modelu (BFI) i mjere kognitivnog funkcioniranja preko CRD-serije kognitivnih testova. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na neuroticizam i ekstraverziju kao najznačajnije prediktore mjera kognitivnog funkcioniranja odnosno dinamičkih osobina kognitivnog sustava. Općenito, nalazi upućuju na nemogućnost nezavisnog mjerenja kognitivnih funkcija, bez upliva osobina ličnosti.The paper deals with the relationship between personality factors and some dynamic characteristics of the human cognitive system functioning. Personalities have been measured according to the Five-Factor Model (FFM) and cognitive functions tested through CRD series of cognitive tests. The results indicate neuroticism and extraversion as the most important predictors of cognitive functioning measures, that is, the dynamic characteristics of the cognitive system. On the whole, the findings point to the impossibility of independent measuring of cognitive functions without the influence of personality traits.Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit dem Zusammenhang von Persƶnlichkeitsfaktoren und einigen dynamischen Eigenschaften der Funktionsweise des menschlichen kognitiven Systems. Es wurden Messungen der Persƶnlichkeit nach dem FĆ¼nf- Faktoren-Modell (BFI) und der kognitiven Funktionsweise mit Hilfe der CRD-Serie von kognitiven Tests durchgefĆ¼hrt. Diese Ergebnisse zeigen, dass Neurotizismus und Extraversion die wichtigsten PrƤdikatoren der Messung der kognitiven Fuktionsweise bzw. der dynamischen Eigenschaften vom kognitiven System sind. Im Allgemeinen weisen die Ergebnisse auf die Unmƶglichkeit der unabhƤngigen Messung der kognitiven Funktionsweise hin, ohne den Einfluss von Persƶnlichkeitsmerkmalen

    Do Nutrition Habits Influence on Parkinson`\u27s Disease Clinical Presentation?

    Introduction: Parkinson\u27s disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder characterized with alpha-synuclein pathology. For the majority of patients, except for some genetic forms, etiology is still unknown. There are some implications that food intake and gut microbiota could contribute to PD. Aim: The aim of this paper is to analyze the influence of protein, fruit and vegetable intake on the clinical presentation of idiopathic Parkinson disease Patients and methods: Patients with idiopathic PD were surveyed for demographic data and nutritional habits in regards to protein, fruit and vegetable intake. Motor symptoms were evaluated using the Unified Parkinson Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) part III and IV, cognitive impairment using Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) and depression using Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). Results: We have analyzed data of 96 patients. Patients using fewer dairy products have more often tremor type of PD (p<0.040). We did not find any differences in severity of motor symptoms, disease stage, age when disease start, frequency of motor complications and fluctuation of therapy, depression and cognitive impairment according to protein, fruit and vegetable ingestion. Conclusion: Higher intake of dairy products could influence the appearance of less favorable forms of Parkinson\u27s disease (rigor type). Protein, fruit and vegetable intake do not influence the disease appearance, severity of motor symptoms, motor fluctuation and complication of therapy, disease stage, the appearance of cognitive impairment nor depression in Parkinson\u27s disease patients.
