Atlanta Chamber Players, Music of Norway

The Atlanta Chamber Players return to KSU joined by a special guest artist, cellist Efe Baltacigil. Hailing from Turkey, Baltacigil is currently the Principal Cellist of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra and a member artist of the prestigious Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. ASO Concertmaster David Coucheron and his sister, pianist Julie Coucheron, will perform works composed in their native land of Norway. Grammy nominated violinist, conductor, and recording artist Andrés Cárdenes has garnered international acclaim from critics and audiences alike for his versatile career and masterful performances. In addition to serving as Concertmaster for the Pittsburgh Symphony for over 20 years, Cárdenes has performed as soloist with over 100 orchestras across four continents including The Philadelphia Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, St. Louis Symphony, and Bavarian Radio Orchestra.
