Simultaneidad, suplemento, palimpsesto: la lectura de la poesía en Saer

Cuandoseguimos de cerca las narraciones de Saer se vuelve difícil no reconocer la ponderación de la poesía como el género que permite expresar de manera privilegiada eso que la literatura (no) puede. Pero no deja de inquietar el hecho de que el recurso a ese género, entendido como "el ejemplo privilegiado de la literatura", sea el modo en que Saer encuentra para dar a entender qué significa narrar cuando los estándares representativos de la novela realista ya no resultan adecuados. A los fines de precisar aquello que para Saer diferencia al juego de la narración, en este escrito procuramos responder a la pregunta acerca de la específica modalidad de ingreso de la poesía en su narrativa. Para ello, acompañamos la exploración saeriana en tres momentos entendidos como instancias de interferencia entre la poesía y la narración.When we follow closely Saer prose fiction it is hard not to realize the praise of poetry as the genre which allows for express that what literature can(not). But it is disturbing that the use of this genre, understood as “the privileged example of literature”, is the way that Saer finds to present what means to narrate when the representative standards of the realist novel are no longer appropriate. In order to specify that what for Saer differentiate the narrative play, in this paper we attempt to answer the question about the specific modality of entry of poetry in his narrative. Hegel and the Problems of Liberal Consideration of Beauty

En este artículo nos proponemos indagar acerca del lugar y significado que asume la categoría de autonomía estética en lo que Hegel denomina “consideración liberal de lo bello”. A tales fines, analizamos los aspectos de su teoría de la religión del arte, cuyo modelo puede encontrarse en la organización ético-política de la polis griega, así como también los presupuestos filosóficos de su célebre teorema acerca del carácter pasado del arte “en su determinación suprema”. La hipótesis que nos guía en esta lectura sostiene que la estética hegeliana se encuentra tensionada por un movimiento doble que impide ubicar al arte en un lugar fijo: al mismo tiempo en que sostiene la necesidad de una categoría de libertad para la determinación conceptual de lo bello, ella es motivo de una constante complejización por una perspectiva que la excede. Esa perspectiva filosófico-histórica se fundamenta en una categoría del sujeto post-ético que justifica la interpretación del arte como medio de tránsito hacia figuras más avanzadas del espíritu.In this paper we propose to analyze the place and meaning of the concept of aesthetic autonomy in what Hegel calls a “liberal consideration of beauty”. In order to do that, we study the dimensions of his theory of religion in the form of art, whose model can be found in the ethical-political organization of the Greek polis, as well as in the philosophical assumption of his famous theorem on art`s past character in “its supreme determination”. Our hypothesis is that Hegel`s aesthetics is being strained by a double movement that prevents us from locating art in a fixed place: at the same time that he holds the necessity of a category of freedom for a conceptual determination of beauty, it is the object of a constant complexity by a perspective which exceeds it. This philosophicalhistorical perspective is founded on the category of a post ethical subject which justifies the interpretation of art as a means of transition to more advanced figures of the spirit

Multidimensional virtual globe for geo big data visualization

In this paper, we presented a web application created using the NASA WebWorldWind framework. The application is capable of visualizing n-dimensional data using a Voxel model. In this case study, we handled social media data and Call Detailed Records (CDR) of telecommunication networks. These were retrieved from the "BigData Challenge 2015" of Telecom Italia. We focused on the visualization process for a suitable way to show this geo-data in a 3D environment, incorporating more than three dimensions. This engenders an interactive way to browse the data in their real context and understand them quickly. Users will be able to handle several varieties of data, import their dataset using a particular data structure, and then mash them up in the WebWorldWind virtual globe. A broad range of public use this tool for diverse purposes is possible, without much experience in the field, thanks to the intuitive user-interface of this web app

Implementazione e verifica di una logica di controllo per il dosaggio di calce in sistema di abbattimento di HCl

L'abbattimento dei gas acidi nel processo di termovalorizzazione dei rifiuti dell’impianto di Ferrara avviene mediante un sistema di depurazione dei fumi (SDF) e prevede come processo di trattamento un sistema multistadio a secco, in cui il primo stadio coinvolge l'utilizzo di idrossido di calcio (Ca(OH)2), mentre il secondo impiega il bicarbonato di sodio (NaHCO3). Nei sistemi di trattamento a doppio stadio, a parità di abbattimento complessivo dei gas acidi, esiste una configurazione di ottimo economico dell’abbattimento tra i due stadi, che minimizza i costi operativi. Inoltre, data l’eterogeneità del rifiuto alimentato nel forno a griglia del termovalorizzatore, i fumi provenienti dalla camera di combustione presentano un contenuto di gas acidi (principalmente, HCl, e diossido di zolfo, SO2) fortemente variabile nel tempo, pertanto, anche il punto ottimale presenta una variabilità temporale. In questo contesto, nasce la necessità di controllare il processo, favorendo il mantenimento di tale ottimo economico, senza causare instabilità al sistema. Per questo studio, si è implementata e testata una logica di controllo feedback feedforward trim (FFT) a set point variabile. In seguito, sono stati definiti e calcolati specifici parametri di performance al fine di valutare l'efficacia del sistema di controllo. I risultati ottenuti contribuiscono allo sviluppo di uno strumento di calcolo automatizzato ed aggiornabile in base ai parametri che influenzano l’ottimo economico. Inoltre, lo strumento non solo può essere utilizzato per il caso specifico del termovalorizzatore di Ferrara, ma è applicabile anche a ciascun impianto di Waste-to-Energy (WtE) gestito da HERAmbiente sul territorio italiano

Rahel Jaeggi is one of the leading figures of contemporary Critical Theory. In November 2023, she visited Argentina on occasion of the celebration of the I National Conference of Critical Theory, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute for Social Research at Frankfurt am Main. The phantasmagoric fold of culture industry

Si bien la formulación paradigmática de la teoría de la industria cultural fue llevada a cabo por Adorno y Horkheimer en Dialéctica de la Ilustración, un examen atento no puede reducir el horizonte de su mirada a un espacio tan limitado. Las derivas de esta teoría en las discusiones políticas y académicas actuales, se comprenden en gran parte por el excesivo recorte del corpus textual a la hora de evaluar su operatividad explicativa y su potencialidad para interpretar la ideología cultural del mundo contemporáneo. En el presente artículo nos proponemos examinar la estructura interna de la industria cultural a partir del análisis del concepto de fantasmagoría tal como es usado por Adorno. En las conclusiones esbozaremos los desafíos que la interpretación de Adorno plantea al lugar del arte en la cultura contemporánea.Even though the paradigmatic formulation of the theory of cultural industry was developed by Adorno (and Horkheimer) in Dialectic of Enlightenment (1944/47), an accurate examination cannot reduce its scope to such a limited space. In fact, the reception of this theory in the current political and academic discussions can be understood by this excesive reduction of the textual corpus. It can explain the general misunderstanding at the time of evaluating its explanatory capability and its potentiality to interpret the cultural ideology of the contemporary world. The present article is intended to revise such deficit by examining the internal structure of cultural industry. In order to do so, this paper analyses the concept of phantasmagoria as it is used by Adorno. Aspects of a critical concept of aesthetical aura

Las reflexiones de la teoría crítica de la sociedad respecto de la diferenciación moderna de la razón le otorgan al arte –y a su experiencia– una singularidad que se presenta bajo un modo de resistencia. Un momento ejemplar de estas indagaciones se expresa en la discusión acerca del concepto de aura para dar cuenta de la diferencia artística. En este escrito nos proponemos reconstruir los aspectos de un concepto crítico de aura estética a partir de la interpretación de su lugar y significación en la teoría social del arte de Theodor Adorno. Para ello revisamos la polémica que sostuvo con Benjamin en torno al carácter pasado del aura; distinguimos los aspectos de la fundamentación del concepto de aura artística en términos de negatividad estética; y, finalmente, extraemos algunas conclusiones en relación con la contribución teórica de este concepto para la crítica de las ideologías estéticas.The reflections of Critical Theory of society about the modern differentiation of reason, assign to art –and its experience– a singularity which presents itself as a mode of resistance. A paradigmatic moment of this inquiry is the discussion about aura as a key concept to give account of what artistic difference means. In this paper we propose to reconstruct a critical concept of aesthetical aura by means of an interpretation of its place and meaning in Theodor Adorno’s social theory of art. In order to do that, we revise the controversy with Benjamin around the past character of aura; we distinguish the aspects of the foundation of the concept of artistically aura in terms of aesthetical negativity; and, finally, we extract some conclusions in relation to the theoretical contribution of this concept to the critique of aesthetical ideologies.Fil: Prestifilippo, Agustín Lucas.
