    PREDIKSI KREDIT DAN INDEKS MUSIMAN (SEASONAL INDEX) PADA BANK PERKREDITAN RAKYAT DI KABUPATEN JEMBER

    This research aims to analyze the credit's predictive value, the development pattern of credit distribution, and the credit fluctuations of 13 Rural Banks in Jember, influenced by seasonal index variables, credit interest, NPL, LDR, ROA, CAR, and operational efficiency ratio. This study used an explanatory research approach. The sample consisted of all Rural Banks' quarterly financial reports in 2014-2019 taken by a purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed using three methods, i.e., double exponential smoothing, moving average ratio, and multiple linear regression analysis methods. Results showed that, according to each data analysis method, ten Rural Banks experienced increased credit distribution. However, the other three Rural Banks experienced a decrease in credit distribution. The study results also indicated an increasing trend in the development pattern of credit distribution.     Analysis of Financial Ratio to Profitability in PT. Pegadaian Indonesia 2008-2022

    This article aims to know and analyze the effect of liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, and activity ratios on profitability ratios at PT Pegadaian Indonesia. The population of this research is PT Pegadaian Indonesia. The sample used in this study is the 2008-2022 financial statements of PT Pegadaian Indonesia. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of PT Pegadaian's annual financial reports for the 2008-2022 period. Sources of data were obtained through the website www.pegadaian.co.id/ Reports-Performance/ Report- Annual. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the liquidity ratio had a significant positive effect on profitability; PT Pegadaian Indonesia had sufficient assets to pay off its short-term obligations so that the company's operational activities were not disrupted. The solvency ratio has a significant positive effect on profitability; the increasing company debt used for operational financing will generate profits so that the company is still able to fulfill its obligations. The activity ratio does not have a significant negative effect on profitability; PT Pegadaian Indonesia is likely to be more concerned with repaying creditors than using cash to pay returns to shareholders so that no matter how much the value of income received by utilizing assets owned does not affect the profitability obtained

    The purpose of this study is to deeply explore the cooperation system in paddy farming in Bangsalsari District Jember. This study uses a positivist paradigm with a qualitative method and case study approach. Research informants were collected from the snowball sampling method, consisting of 4 landowners and 4 sharecroppers. The results showed that the cooperation system was manifested in the muzara’ah contract. This study found that the Islamic values implemented in the muzara’ah business practice were consisted of not doing the despotic act, being fair and trustworthy, and implementing profit sharing and halal principles. This study designed a model of business cooperation based on revenue sharing. This study also conducted a financial analysis by calculating the net agricultural income and the value of the revenue sharing for the landowners and the farmers.     Abstract: Generally the purpose of this study was to determine the influence of viral marketing, celebrity endorser and brand image against consumer buying decisions in Distro RMBL. The population in this research was the whole followers of Distro RMBL’s instagram account and the total sample of this research was 110 respondents. The independent variables were viral marketing, celebrity endorser and brand image whereas the dependent variable in this research was consumer buying decisions and this research measured by using multiple linear regression analysis. This research’s result indicated that viral marketing, celebrity endorser and brand image influent positively and significantly to consumer buying decisions simultantly. Partially, viral marketing influent consumer buying decisions positively and significantly, celebrity endorser influent consumer buying decisions positively and significantly and also brand image influent consumer buying decisions positively and significantly.Keywords: Viral Marketing, Celebrity Endorser and Brand Imag

    Pembentukan "Klinik Halal" Dalam Upaya Mewujudkan Halal Industri di Indonesia 2024

    The "Dosen Mengabdi di Desa" Program (Prosendi Desa) is conducted in Tegal Besar Village, Kaliwates District, Jember Regency, which has significant potential for the development of the halal industry towards Indonesia's Halal Industry 2024. The program aims to expedite halal certification for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by implementing a packaging house concept. The program utilizes the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, involving the collaboration of stakeholders such as government officials, MSME owners, and the Halal Center of UIN KHAS Jember. Through information dissemination, socialization, counseling, and direct assistance, MSME owners are guided in obtaining the necessary business legality in the form of a Business Identification Number (NIB) and Halal Certificate. The solution is divided into two phases. In the first year, efforts include issuing additional NIBs, establishing a "Halal Clinic" in the village, and conducting regular socialization and publications. In the second year, a guidebook for self-declaration halal certification, assistance in registering on sihalal.com, support for field verification and document revisions, and monitoring the certification process are provided. The expected contributions are in two phases. Firstly, by increasing the number of NIBs for MSMEs, the program aims to motivate business owners and bring added value to their activities. Secondly, the establishment of the Halal Clinic aligns with agency theory, addressing human nature, organizational aspects, and information needs. The program's ultimate goal is to ensure a significant number of MSMEs in Tegal Besar Village comply with mandatory halal certification requirements by the end of 2024. This initiative will not only enhance the halal industry but also promote awareness and compliance with halal standards among MSMEs, contributing to the broader goal of Indonesia's Halal Industry in 2024

    The presence of MSME-scale businesses in Indonesia has improved the country's economy, especially during the economic crisis hit, one of which was during the COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic has also changed the business flow of all business actors, including MSMEs. During the pandemic, all business people who initially only marketed their products conventionally began to take advantage of technological sophistication, especially on social media. The use of social media and technological sophistication is an alternative to develop the existing market potential while making it easier for business actors to find what consumers need. The use of technology is also applied to products produced by MSMEs, one of which is Zayyan Art Design, an MSME actor in the craft sector. One of Zayyan Art's obstacles to running their business is that they can’t use social media to market their products. The purpose of the activities that have been carried out is to help improve skills by increasing the capacity of human resources with a digital perspective. This increase is expected to help increase the number of sales of partner products so that partner problems can be slightly reduced especially in financial problems and an increase in partner income. The method that has been used in this activity is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). This concept is one of the strategies in service activities whose main activity is community development in the form of training and assistance in using technology in marketing for Zayyan Art. The form of training that has been held is in the form of tutorials on making product marketing videos and making digital product catalogs. The results of the service activities that have been carried out are an increase in employee skills in using social media and expanding the market reach of Zayyan Art products

    Model of Strengthening Halal Branding as an Implementation of Wellness Economy for MSMEs in Jember Regency

    The new lifestyle of the people that emerged as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic which emphasizes the importance of a healthy lifestyle also influences economic and social activities in implementing the wellness economy. Healthy food can be traced from raw materials, processes, finished products and physical presentation to hygiene and in the concept of sharia it is called halal food which legally has a halal certificate. The purpose of this study was to identify MSMEs that already have halal certificates, analyze challenges and opportunities, analyze the effect of halal branding on sales, and formulate a model for strengthening MSME halal branding in Jember Regency. The method used is the Mix Method, beginning with a qualitative descriptive with secondary data collection, observation, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results obtained are about 8, There are 764 MSMEs in Jember Regency and only 5% are halal certified. The minimum number of MSMEs that have halal certificates is because there are obstacles such as a lack of understanding of registration procedures, too many registration requirements, small businesses, time constraints
