Mathematic learning for the eighth-grade students at Muhammadiyah Junior high School Banguntaoan (SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan) Yogyakarta uses lecture method, discussion, and question and answer, which resulted in the students less enthusiastic during the mathematic lessons. Also, the mathematics lesson that is considered difficult, and the method is considered less fun is an obstacle for students to get a satisfactory mark. This research aims to find whether there are differences on students' result of learning mathematics using group investigation learning model and think pair share learning model and to compare the effectiveness of both models on the result of learning mathematics of the eighth-grade students of even semester at SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan Yogyakarta in the academic year 2016/2017. This research population is the eighth-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan, which are class VIIIA, VIIIB, and VIIIC. The sample of this research is taken from two classes using a random sampling technique for the classes. It is obtained from the experiment class VIIIB and the experiment class VIIIA. The design of this research is the posttest-only control design. The data collection is obtained using the test method. The instrument is tested using validity, reliability, and different potency test. The data analysis technique used for prerequisite analysis tests is the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. The result of this research at a significant level 5% and df= 60 indicates that: (1) There are differences in the students' learning mathematics results using the group investigation learning model and Think Pair Share learning model. It is showed by the value of and  so that  and (2) group investigation learning model is more effective than Think Pair Share learning model on the students’ result of learning mathematics. It is indicated by the value of and  so that

Exciting and Innovative Learning and Student enthusiasm can influence to the student learning outcomes. This thesis aims to know whether there is a difference between the results of mathematics learning using a cooperative learning model for Make a match and Talking stick type. Then, it also aims to know which learning model is more effective between the cooperative learning model for Make a match type and Talking stick type to the mathematic learning outcomes of the seven-grade student of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gamping at Even Semester in 2016/2017 Academic Year. The type of this research is included in experimental research. The populations in this research are all seven grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gamping at Sleman Regency in the 2016/2017 academic year, consisting of three classes with the total number of students 108. This research sample is seven-grade student A as the experimental class I, seven-grade student B as the experimental class II and seven-grade student C as the test class. Purposive sampling technique is used as a sample selection. The research instrument is a test of mathematic learning outcomes in the form of multiple-choice questions. Instrument test includes validity test, different ability test, and reliability test. The data analysis technique used in this research is a prerequisite analysis test consisting of normality test and homogeneity test. Hypothesis test uses a t-one side test and a t-two side test. The result of the research shows that the t-two side test with 5% significances and 67 degrees of freedom achieves the value of = 0,2278 and = 1,99601. It means that there is no difference between the value of mathematic learning outcomes of the student using a cooperative learning model for Make a match type and Talking stick type

In SMP Negeri 3 Sentolo, the learning activities tend to teacher learning-centered, it causes boredom and tiring of students. This can affect student learning results. One can be applied to solve this problem as an alternative learning model is a cooperative learning model NHT type and Talking Stick type. Therefore the purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning model NHT type and Talking Stick type of VII students in SMP Negeri 3 Sentolo Kulonprogo on even semester in the academic year of 2015/2016. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Sentolo Kulonprogo academic year 2015/2016. That is consisting of six classes with 168 students. The samples were taken two classes used random technique sampling for each class. It is obtained VII A as the experimental class I and VII C as the experimental class II. The data analysis technique used a prerequisite test. It includes a normalized test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test of two parties and one party. Based on the calculation of the two parties hypothesis test with significance level a = 5% and 56 degrees of freedom obtained value  and  so ,  then accepted H0 means there is no difference in the students' mathematics learning result which uses cooperative learning model NHT type and Talking stick type. On the other hand, for one party  hypothesis test with significance level a = 5% and 56 degrees of freedom is obtained  and  so , then accepted H0 it means both cooperative learning model NHT type and Talking stick type no more effective than the other one

Students' learning outcomes may depend on several factors. It is assumed that learning interest, parental involvement, and anxiety are related to the students' learning outcomes. This research aims to know whether there is a positive and significant relationship between learning interest, parental involvement, and anxiety and mathematic learning outcomes of grade VIII students in the odd semester of SMP Cokroaminoto Wanadadi, Banjarnegara Regency, in the academic year of 2016/2017. The populations of this research are 95 students in grade VIII of SMP Cokroaminoto Wanadadi, Banjarnegara Regency, in the academic year of 2016/2017, consisting of grade VIII A, VIII B, and VIII C. Grade VIII B students were taken as the sample through random sampling class. The data were collected using a questionnaire, which is useful to obtain the data on the learning interest, parental involvement, and anxiety in mathematics. Besides, a test was also carried out to get the data on the learning outcomes in mathematics. The instrument was tested using a validity test, differential test, and reliability test. Prerequisite analysis tests include normality tests, linearity tests, and independence tests. The data were analyzed using product moment analysis and multiple linear regressions. The research findings indicate that there is a significant relationship between learning interest, parental involvement, as well as anxiety and mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII students in the odd semester of SMP Cokroaminoto Wanadadi Banjarnegara regency in the academic year of 2016/2017. It can be seen from the results showing that Fcount>Ftablethat is 10.022 > 2.95 with R = 0.7196 and R2 = 0.51780 with Y= 29.5269 + 0.5797 X1+ 0.1417 X2– 0.2878X3, with Relative Contribution X1 = 77.7748%, Relative Contribution  X2 = 9.9445%,and Relative Contribution  X3 = 12.2807%, SE X1 = 40.2718%, Effective Contribution X2 = 5.1492%, and Effective Contribution X3 = 6.2590%

Teacher-centered learning often makes students feel bored and not interested in participating in learning mathematics. This causes students to be less active in learning activities so that students become less familiar with the material described by teachers and resulted in low learning outcomes of mathematical learning. This study aims to determine whereas more effective learning between mathematics learning using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach with mathematics learning using a traditional approach to mathematics learning outcomes of students. The population in this study is the seventh-grade students of MTs Negeri Godean Sleman in the academic year 2015/2016 which consists of 4 classes. The sampling technique using a purposive sampling technique (sampling technique with certain considerations) to the class that obtained class VII B as an experimental class and class VII A as a control class. The data was collected using the test method. Instrument testing used validity, reliability, and difficulty level. The data analysis technique used analysis prerequisites of normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The result showed that 1) there is a different learning outcome between learning mathematics using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach with learning mathematics using a traditional approach. It’s based on two-tailed t-test obtained  and  with a significance level of 5% and the degrees of freedom, respectively and   , which meanings , and than is rejected and  accepted. 2) Learning mathematics using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach is more effective than learning mathematics using the traditional approach through mathematics learning outcomes on seventh-grade students of MTs Negeri Godean Sleman in the academic year of 2015/2016. It is based on the one tiled t-test obtained  and  with a significance level of 5% and the degrees of freedom, respectively and  which meanings , and than is rejected and  accepted.
