El currículum integrado en el panorama educativo español

    Get PDF
The author, after recognizing the difficulty that has the organization of the curriculum from an innovator logic and different to the distribution in isolated matters, makes a run for some integrated attempts (global) realized in our national context. The coincidences between them are identified, these that undoubtly point at a realizable alternative that has an important tradition between the most anxious groups and experiences in the innovator educational panorama. The implementation of these experiences is not easy due to its non-hegemonic character, and this aspect before being an obstacle must be understood as a challenge with a capacity of breaking with the monotonous curricular discours

We present deep imaging observations of activated asteroid P/2016 G1 (PANSTARRS) using the 10.4m Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC) from late April to early June 2016. The images are best interpreted as the result of a relatively short-duration event with onset about 35030+10\mathop{350}_{-30}^{+10} days before perihelion (i.e., around 10th February, 2016), starting sharply and decreasing with a 247+10\mathop{24}_{-7}^{+10} days (Half-width at half-maximum, HWHM). The results of the modeling imply the emission of \sim1.7×\times107^7 kg of dust, if composed of particles of 1 micrometer to 1 cm in radius, distributed following a power-law of index --3, and having a geometric albedo of 0.15. A detailed fitting of a conspicuous westward feature in the head of the comet-like object indicates that a significant fraction of the dust was ejected along a privileged direction right at the beginning of the event, which suggests that the parent body has possibly suffered an impact followed by a partial or total disruption. From the limiting magnitude reachable with the instrumental setup, and assuming a geometric albedo of 0.15 for the parent body, an upper limit for the size of possible fragment debris of \sim50 m in radius is derived.Comment: Accepted by ApJ Letter

The dust environment of Main-Belt Comet P/2012 T1 (PANSTARRS)

Main-Belt Comet P/2012 T1 (PANSTARRS) has been imaged using the 10.4m Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC) and the 4.2m William Herschel Telescope (WHT) at six epochs in the period from November 2012 to February 2013, with the aim of monitoring its dust environment. The dust tails brightness and morphology are best interpreted in terms of a model of sustained dust emission spanning 4 to 6 months. The total dust mass ejected is estimated at \sim6--25×106\times10^6 kg. We assume a time-independent power-law size distribution function, with particles in the micrometer to centimeter size range. Based on the quality of the fits to the isophote fields, an anisotropic emission pattern is favored against an isotropic one, in which the particle ejection is concentrated toward high latitudes (±45\pm45^\circ to ±90\pm90^\circ) in a high obliquity object (II=80^\circ). This seasonally-driven ejection behavior, along with the modeled particle ejection velocities, are in remarkable agreement to those we found for P/2010 R2 (La Sagra) \citep{Moreno11a}.Comment: Accepted for publication in The Astrophysical Journal Letter

Las conclusiones apuntan que la escuela rural no puede limitarse exclusivamente a lo contextual debiendo apoyarse en elementos que la definan: perspectiva comunitaria (familiar), innovadora, transformadora, contextual y global, diversa y de altas expectativasThe main purpose of this investigation is to understand how the education for diversity is developed in rural schools in the south of Spain. The research is composed of two studies with an articulated methodology: one is general and statistical, targeting the population at large, and the other one is a qualitative case study that allows to situate and contextualize observation. The research draws on various data collection tools and information sources, both qualitative and quantitative. In the first study, nine teachers from five unitary schools in the province of Huelva participated through questionnaires and structured interviews. In the second, one of the participating establishments was selected (for being representative and offering a response to diversity in the typology of unitary schools). Information on this particular establishment was obtained through techniques such as observation, interviews (with teachers, students, families...), document analysis, etc. The findings show that inclusive processes in this type of schools are in the process of disappearing. The conclusions suggest that rural schools should not be limited to operate in context, instead they should seek support in elements that define them: community perspective (family), being innovative, contextual and global, diverse and with high expectatio

Influential factors in the school improvement. A study case in Freinet schools

    Get PDF
Research has shown that distributed leadership, collaborative culture, educational innovation and formative assessment are essential factors to drive improvement processes in schools. Therefore, this paper aims to describe and understand how the factors associated with school improvement influence student learning and teacher professional development. METHOD. Given the qualitative nature of the research, a descriptive-interpretive case study is carried out in four Freinet schools in Liège (Belgium) that are analyzed in depth. These schools have developed a bottom-up educational improvement process to create a school network. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis, participant and non-participant observations of teaching practices. RESULTS. Results show that the four factors have influenced the design of a common Educational Project in the school network, the implementation of personalized training seminars in schools, the decrease in the ratios and the integration of ICT in the teaching process-learning. DISCUSSION. Research on the bottom-up improvement process is essential to deepen the knowledge about the creation of school networks

editorial reviewedIn this work we introduce the fast chaos indicator MEGNO (Mean Exponential Growth factor of Nearby orbits). This technique is widespread for studying of the dynamical behaviour of planetary system in the framework of the gravitational N-body problem. We present some examples in both Solar System and exoplanetary systems and we show some of our last results for the Luyten's system, the closest multi-planetary system known to us so far

The Dust Environment of Short Period Comets

editorial reviewedIn this work we present a characterization of the dust environment of various Short Period Comets, with the purpose to improve the knowledge on their physical properties. Among this comet family members, we focused over 30P/Reinmuth 1, 78P/Gehrels 2, 123P/West-Hartley and P/2011 W2 (Rinner). We analyze CCD imaging observations during the last three years in Sierra Nevada Observatory (OSN), and perform a Monte Carlo dust tail analysis in order to retrieve the dust environment that best fits the observations. The dust parameters that we obtain are the mass lost rate, ejection terminal velocities, size distributions, and ejection morphology. In addition, we derive from the models the Afρ curves as a function of the heliocentric distance and compare them with the ones provided by the astronomical association Cometas-Obs during the passage of these objects at dates close to perihelion. Three of the comets studied, 78P, 123P, and Rinner, can be accurately fitted by an isotropic ejection model. However, for 30P, an anisotropic ejection model is required, with active areas on the surface located between latitudes -30° to +30°. From our study we derive that 78P/Gehrels 2 is the most active comet at perihelion, with a dust production rate of Qd= 550 kg/s, larger than the average of this comet family. The others three targets show a moderate dust loss rate

Short-term variability of comet C/2012 S1 (ISON) at 4.8 AU from the Sun

We observed comet C/2012 S1 (ISON) during six nights in February 2013 when it was at 4.8 AU from the sun. At this distance and time the comet was not very active and it was theoretically possible to detect photometric variations likely due to the rotation of the cometary nucleus. The goal of this work is to obtain differential photometry of the comet inner coma using different aperture radii in order to derive a possible rotational period. Large field of view images were obtained with a 4k x 4k CCD at the f/3 0.77m telescope of La Hita Observatory in Spain. Aperture photometry was performed in order to get relative magnitude variation versus time. Using calibrated star fields we also obtained ISON's R-magnitudes versus time. We applied a Lomb-Scargle periodogram analysis to get possible periodicities for the observed brightness variations, directly related with the rotation of the cometary nucleus. The comet light curve obtained is very shallow, with a peak-to-peak amplitude of 0.03 ±\pm 0.02 mag. A tentative synodic rotational period (single-peaked) of 14.4 ±\pm 1.2 hours for ISON's nucleus is obtained from our analysis, but there are other possibilities. We studied the possible effect of the seeing variations in the obtained periodicities during the same night, and from night to night. These seeing variations had no effect on the derived periodicity. We discuss and interpret all possible solutions for the rotational period of ISON's nucleus.Comment: 15 pages, 3 Figures, 2 Tables, accepted for publication in A&
