Novice Teachers’ Professional Development During the Induction Year

AbstractThe key problem of the current study can be worded as the question: what are the changes that occur in novice teachers’ development during the first year of work? The data sources include novice teachers’ and their mentors’ responses to the questionnaires focusing on changes in teacher competencies and self-efficacy beliefs during the induction year. The teaching skills of the novice teachers grew during their first year at work and their assessments were reasonably adequate. Self-efficacy grows through positive experiences of own classroom teaching. Novice teachers with high self-efficacy were more satisfied with their coping in the first year at work than the teachers with average and low self-efficacy. Positive first experiences and strong sense of efficacy are important from the viewpoint of the future career

Recent Fixed Point Techniques in Fractional Set-Valued Dynamical Systems

In this chapter, we present a recollection of fixed point theorems and their applications in fractional set-valued dynamical systems. In particular, the fractional systems are used in describing many natural phenomena and also vastly used in engineering. We consider mainly two conditions in approaching the problem. The first condition is about the cyclicity of the involved operator and this one takes place in ordinary metric spaces. In the latter case, we develop a new fundamental theorem in modular metric spaces and apply to show solvability of fractional set-valued dynamical systems

Iterative Algorithms for Solving the System of Mixed Equilibrium Problems, Fixed-Point Problems, and Variational Inclusions with Application to Minimization Problem

We introduce a new iterative algorithm for solving a common solution of the set of solutions of fixed point for an infinite family of nonexpansive mappings, the set of solution of a system of mixed equilibrium problems, and the set of solutions of the variational inclusion for a β-inverse-strongly monotone mapping in a real Hilbert space. We prove that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of the above three sets under some mild conditions. Furthermore, we give a numerical example which supports our main theorem in the last part

Existence and Algorithm for the Systems of Hierarchical Variational Inclusion Problems

We study the existence and approximation of a solution for a system of hierarchical variational inclusion problems in Hilbert spaces. In this study, we use Maingé’s approach for finding the solutions of the system of hierarchical variational inclusion problems. Our result in this paper improves and generalizes some known corresponding results in the literature
