Projektni indeks energetske uÄinkovitosti broda za prijevoz rasutog tereta
U novije vrijeme, poveÄanje osvijeÅ”tenosti po pitanju zaÅ”tite okoliÅ”a i interes za razvoj tehnoloÅ”kih rjeÅ”enja koja bi doprinijela smanjenju ispuÅ”tanja Å”tetnih plinova nije zaobiÅ”ao ni brodograÄevnu industriju. U fazi osnivanja broda potrebno je obratiti posebnu pozornost na energetsku uÄinkovitost broda. VeliÄina kojom se izražava takva uÄinkovitost naziva se projektni indeks energetske uÄinkovitosti (EEDI). Od 1. sijeÄnja 2013. godine, novi brodovi moraju zadovoljiti referentnu razinu EEDI-a za odreÄeni tip broda. Razina emisije mora se pooÅ”triti svakih pet godina. Zbog toga se oÄekuje da Äe EEDI potaknuti nastavak inovacija i tehniÄki razvoj svih komponenata koje utjeÄu na energetsku uÄinkovitost broda. EEDI je izražen u gramima ugljiÄnog dioksida ( ) po prevezenoj toni i milji (Å”to je manji EEDI brod je energetski uÄinkovitiji) i raÄuna se pomoÄu izraza koji se temelji na tehniÄkim projektnim parametrima za odreÄeni brod. U ovom radu analiziran je EEDI na primjeru broda za prijevoz rasutog tereta āStojaā koji je izgraÄen u pulskom brodogradiliÅ”tu Uljanik. Uz analizu dostupne literature, koja se prvenstveno odnosi na regulatorni okvir u podruÄju energetske uÄinkovitosti brodova, proveden je proraÄun EEDI-a za gore navedeni brod, kao i njegova usporedba sa zahtijevanom vrijednoÅ”Äu, oslanjajuÄi se na proraÄunske veliÄine dobivene od brodogradiliÅ”ta. Analiziran je utjecaj pojedinih proraÄunskih veliÄina na vrijednost EEDI-a, te opÄenito moguÄnosti poboljÅ”anja projekta s aspekta energetske uÄinkovitosti
Hierarchycal Decision Making Using the AHP Method
Rad se temelji na osnovnim rezultatima Thomasa L. Saatyja iz podruÄja teorije odluÄivanja. Predstavljena je potrebna teorijska podloga AHP metode kao i osnovni rezultati
i njihovi dokazi koji su potrebni za njenu praktiÄnu upotrebu. U radu je obraÄena, kao
jedna od moguÄih, metoda svojstvenog vektora. Za praktiÄno rjeÅ”avanje navedenom metodom uvedena je metoda potencija za numeriÄki izraÄun svojstvenog vektora i svojstvene
vrijednosti. Nakon Ŕto su ostvarene sve pretpostavke, u radu je predstavljeno programsko
rjeÅ”enje za rjeÅ”avanje problema odluÄivanja u obliku grafiÄkog suÄelja koristeÄi AHP metodu za hijerarhiju s tri nivoa. Sinteza rada je primjer odabira kuÄe od nekoliko ponuÄenih
u odnosu na kriterije. Na samom kraju rada umetnut je programski kod praktiÄnog dijela

proofs. This paper presents the principal eigenvalue method as one of the given possibilities. Power method has been introduced for numerical calculating eigenvector and
eigenvalue of interest. After all conditions have been fulfilled, in this paper we show
software solution using graphical interface for solving decision problems for three-level
hierarchy. Paper synthesis is an example of choosing a house among several with respect
to the criterions. At last, we included program code for the practical part of the paper in

Special attention has to be paid to the ship's energy efficiency during the ship's design phase. The quantity to express ship's efficiency is called the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI). As of January first 2013, new ships must meet the EEDI reference level, defined for a certain type of ship. The level of emitted must be sharpened every five years. Therefore, it is expected that EEDI will stimulate the continuos innovation and technical development of all components that will affect the energy efficiency of the ship. EEDI is expressed in grams of carbon dioxide ( ) per ton and mile transported (the smaller the EEDI the more energy efficient the ship is) and is calculated using a formula based on technical design parameters for a particular vessel. In this thesis, EEDI was analyzed on the example of the āStojaā bulk carrier that was built at the Uljanik shipyard in Pula. Along with the analysis of available literature, which is primarily concerned with the regulatory framework in the field of energy efficiency of ships, an EEDI calculation for the above-mentioned vessel was made, as well as its comparison with the required value, relying on the input data obtained from the shipyard. The impact of calculation parameters on the value of EEDI and the general improvement of the project's energy efficiency were analyzed
Projektno rjeÅ”enje sustava grijanja, hlaÄenja i ventilacije supermarketa
U radu je dano rjeÅ”enje instalacije grijanja, hlaÄenja i ventilacije za zgradu supermarketa ukupne korisne povrÅ”ine 1800 m2. Zgrada je smjeÅ”tena na podruÄju grada Zagreba. RjeÅ”enje grijanja i hlaÄenja je dano u dvije varijante. Prva varijanta je sa stropnim ventilokonvektorima dok je druga varijanta rjeÅ”enje s podnim grijanjem/hlaÄenjem.
RjeÅ”enje ventilacije je u oba sluÄaja isto. Ventilacija je izvedena pomoÄu dvije zasebne klima jedinice, kompaktne izvedbe smjeÅ”tene unutar objekta pod stropom.
Toplinski i rashladni izvor je dizalica topline zrak-voda, koja radi u sprezi sa rashladnim postrojenjem za tehniÄko hlaÄenje robe u supermarketu i iskoriÅ”tava toplinu kondenzacije. Postignuto je 100% iskoriÅ”tenje otpadne topline dobiveno radom rashladnog multiseta za tehniÄko hlaÄenje.
Procjena potroÅ”nje energije za zgradu je dobivena pomoÄu norme HRN EN ISO 13790 mjeseÄnom metodom.
Na kraju su usporeÄene dvije varijante rjeÅ”enja sa strane investicijskih i pogonskih troÅ”kova za jednu godinu koriÅ”tenja. Na osnovu dobivenih rezultata vidljivo je da je rjeÅ”enje podnog grijanja i hlaÄenja energetski uÄinkovitije, ali investicijski skuplje. Povrat investicije za sluÄaj rjeÅ”enja podnoga grijanja/hlaÄenja u odnosu na rjeÅ”enje grijanja/hlaÄenja sa stropnim ventilokonvektorima je 7,4 godine
Performance engineering for HEVC transform and quantization kernel on GPUs
Continuous growth of video traffic and video services, especially in the field of high resolution and high-quality video content, places heavy demands on video coding and its implementations. High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) standard doubles the compression efficiency of its predecessor H.264/AVC at the cost of high computational complexity. To address those computing issues high-performance video processing takes advantage of heterogeneous multiprocessor platforms. In this paper, we present a highly performance-optimized HEVC transform and quantization kernel with all-zero-block (AZB) identification designed for execution on a Graphics Processor Unit (GPU). Performance optimization strategy involved all three aspects of parallel design, exposing as much of the applicationās intrinsic parallelism as possible, exploitation of high throughput memory and efficient instruction usage. It combines efficient mapping of transform blocks to thread-blocks and efficient vectorized access patterns to shared memory for all transform sizes supported in the standard. Two different GPUs of the same architecture were used to evaluate proposed implementation. Achieved processing times are 6.03 and 23.94āms for DCI 4K and 8K Full Format, respectively. Speedup factors compared to CPU, cuBLAS and AVX2 implementations are up to 80, 19 and 4 times respectively. Proposed implementation outperforms previous work 1.22 times
Diagnosis of Visceral Leishmaniasis by Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology of an Isolated Cervical Lymph Node: Case Report
A 61-year-old woman presented with an isolated, painless, slightly enlarged right laterocervical lymph node without any other signs and symptoms of disease. Laboratory test including hematological and biochemical parameters were normal. A cervical ultrasonography demonstrated one lymph node (10 mm) on the right laterocervical side and one small reactive lymph node on the left laterocervical side. The fine needle aspiration (FNA) smears revealed a polymorphic population of cells composed of lymphocytes, histiocytes, epitheloid cells, plasma cell, tingible body macrophages and macrophages infiltrated with Leishmania amastigotes. Treatment was initiated with Stiboglukonat Na (Pentostam) and led to a full recovery

Clinical and Epidemiological Characteristics of Brucellosis in Hospitalised Patients
Retrospektivno su analizirane kliniÄke i epidemioloÅ”ke karakteristike bruceloze u 91 bolesnika koji su bili hospitalizirani u Klinici za infektivne bolesti u Tuzli od 1.1.2000. godine do 1.8.2008. godine. Definitivna dijagnoza bruceloze postavljena je na temelju pozitivnih rezultata hemokulture i/ili nekog od relevantnih seroloÅ”kih testova (ELISA test, ROSE-BENGAL aglutinacija). VeÄina bolesnika bila je iz 5 opÄina Tuzlanskog kantona: Živinice, Tuzla, Lukavac, Kalesija, i Srebrenik, ukupno (81,3 %) bolesnika. NajveÄi broj bolesnika (93 %) bio je iz ruralne regije. Bilo je znatno viÅ”e muÅ”karaca (82,4 %). VeÄina bolesnika bila je u dobi od 20 ā 29 godina i 50 ā 59 godina po 25,3 %. NajviÅ”e bolesnika bilo je hospitalizirano u proljetnim mjesecima, travnju 24,1% i svibnju 23,0 %. Kontakt s inficiranim životinjama registriran je kod 82,4% bolesnika. VodeÄi simptomi i znaci bolesti bili su poviÅ”ena temperatura, bolovi u zglobovima, opÄa slabost, noÄno znojenje, glavobolja, hepatosplenomegalija, a najvažniji patoloÅ”ki laboratorijski nalazi ubrzana sedimentacija eritrocita i poviÅ”ena vrijednost C-reaktivnog proteina. Bolesnici su lijeÄeni kombinacijom streptomicina ili gentamicina s doksiciklinom u odraslih, ili gentamicinom i trimetoprim-sulfametoksazolom u djece, u trajanju 6 tjedana. Komplikacije su dokumentirane u 23,0 % muÅ”karaca i 1,1% žena. Orchiepididimitis je utvrÄen u 6,5 %, pneumonija 4,3 %, periferni artritis 4,3%, spondilitis 3,2 %, sakroileitis 2,1 %, epiduralni absces u 2,1 % i spondilodiscitis u 1% bolesnika. Relaps je zabilježen u 13,1 % bolesnika. Svi bolesnici su izlijeÄeni. Bruceloza je rastuÄi javno-zdravstveni problem u Tuzlanskom kantonu, ali i Å”ire u Bosni i Hercegovini.The clinical and epidemiological characteristics of brucellosis were retrospectively analysed in 91 patients hospitalised in the Clinic for Infectious Diseases at the University Clinical Centre Tuzla from January 1st 2000 to August 1st 2008. The diagnosis of brucellosis was confirmed by positive results of bloodculture and/or by serology testing (ELISA, Rose Bengal plate agglutination). The great majority, 74 (81,3 %), of the patients were from 5 municipalities of Canton Tuzla: Živinice, Tuzla, Lukavac, Kalesija and Srebrenik. The majority of patients (93,0 %) were inhabitants of rural regions. The males were significantly dominant (82,4 %). Most of the patients were in age group 20 ā 29 years and 50 ā 59 years (25,3 % respectively). The patients were mostly hospitalized during spring season, especially in April (24,1 %) and May (23,0 %). Contact with infected animals was registered in 82,4% of patients. The leading symptoms and signs of the disease were fever, arthralgias, weakness, night sweating, headache, hepatosplenomegaly, and the most important pathological laboratory findings were high erythrocyte sedimentation rate and elevated value of C-reactive protein. The adult patients were treated with a combination of streptomycin or gentamicin with doxycycline, and the children were treated with gentamicin and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole during 6 weeks. Complications were documented in 23,0 % of males and 1,1% of females. Orchiepididymitis was found in 6,5 %, pneumonia in 4,3 %, peripheral arthritis 4,3 %, spondylitis 3,2 %, coxitis 2,1 %, epidural abscess in 2,1 %, and spondylodiscitis in 1% of patients. Relapse of the disease was registered in 13,1 % of patients. All patients were cured. Brucellosis is a growing public health problem in Canton Tuzla and in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Human West Nile virus infection in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Aim To describe the first two cases of West Nile virus (WNV) neuroinvasive infections in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Methods At the Clinic for Infectious Diseases of the University Clinical Centre Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H), specific screening for WNV infection was performed on patients with neuroinvasive diseases from 1 August to 31 October 2013. Serum samples were tested for the presence of WNV IgM and IgG antibodies using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); positive serum samples were further analyzed by detection of WNV nucleic acid of two distinct lineages (lineage 1 and lineage 2) in sera by RT-PCR.
Results Three (out of nine) patients met clinical criteria, and two of them had high serum titre of WNV specific IgM antibodies (3.5 and 5.2). Serum RT-PCR testing was negative. Conformation by neutralization testing was not performed. Both cases represented with encephalitis. None of these cases had recent travel history in WNW endemic areas, or history of blood transfusion and organ transplantation, so they represented autochthonous cases.
Conclusion Although there were no previous reports of flavivirus infections in B&H, described cases had high titre of WNV specific antibodies in serum, and negative flavivirus-vaccination history, they were defined as probable cases because recommended testing for case confirmation was not performed. The West Nile virus should be considered a possible causative pathogen in this area, probably in patients with mild influenza-like disease of unknown origin and those with neuroinvasive disease during late summerand early autumn
FRET-Capture: A Sensitive Method for the Detection of Dynamic Protein Interactions
The FRET-Capture approach exploits a bound solvatochromic fluorophore, 4-N,N-dimethylamino-1,8-naphthalimide, as a FRET donor in both inter- and intramolecular energy transfer.
