Análisis de la vulnerabilidad sísmica, utilizando el método de Benedetti - Petrini, del pabellón "U" de la institución educativa privada Claretiano - Trujillo

Esta tesis tiene por objeto de estudio, la estructura mas antigua del colegio Claretiano de Trujillo y determinar su nivel de vulnerabilidad sísmica aplicando el método de Benedetti – Petrini a fin de saber el estado en el que se encuentra después de más de sesenta años desde su construcción. La investigación fue desarrollada a través de una inspección visual, toma de datos en campo y un estudio de esclerometría para sus elementos estructurales, para luego procesar los datos usando los once parámetros descritos en el método Benedetti – Petrini, llegando a la conclusión que el ala izquierda del pabellón U del colegio Claretiano de Trujillo posee una vulnerabilidad baja. Para estar conformes con el resultado obtenido por el método, se procedió a usar el software ETABS para el modelamiento estructural de la edificación, llegando a concordar con los resultados obtenidos a través del métodoThe purpose of this thesis is to study the oldest structure of the Claretian College of Trujillo and to determine its level of seismic vulnerability by applying the Benedetti - Petrini method in order to know the state in which it is located after more than sixty years since its construction. The research was developed through a visual inspection, data collection in the field and a sclerometry study for its structural elements, to then process the data using the parameters once described in the Benedetti - Petrini method, reaching the conclusion that the left wing of pavilion U of the Claretiano highschool in Trujillo has a low vulnerability. Conserved domains control heterochromatin localization and silencing properties of SU(VAR)3-7

The Drosophila protein SU(VAR)3-7 is essential for fly viability, chromosome structure, and heterochromatin formation. We report that searches in silico and in vitro for homologues of SU(VAR)3-7 were successful within, but not outside, the Drosophila genus. Protein sequence homology between the distant sibling species Drosophila melanogaster and Drosophila virilis is low, except for the general organization of the protein and three conserved motives: seven widely spaced zinc fingers in the N-terminal half and the BESS and BoxA motives in the C-terminal half of the protein. We have undertaken a fine functional dissection of SU(VAR)3-7 in vivo using transgenes encoding truncations of the protein. BESS mediates interaction of SU(VAR)3-7 with itself, and BoxA is required for specific heterochromatin association. Both are necessary for the silencing properties of SU(VAR)3-7. The seven zinc fingers, widely spaced over the N-terminal half of SU(VAR)3-7, are required for binding to polytene chromosomes. One finger is necessary and sufficient to determine the appropriate chromatin association of the C-terminal half of the protein. Null controllability of the heat equation with boundary Fourier conditions: the linear case

In this paper, we prove the global null controllability of the linear heat equation completed with linear Fourier boundary conditions of the form ∂y ∂n + β y = 0. We consider distributed controls with support in a small set and nonregular coefficients β = β(x, t). Exact controllability to the trajectories of the heat equation with Fourier boundary conditions: the semilinear case

This paper is concerned with the global exact controllability of the semilinear heat equation (with nonlinear terms involving the state and the gradient) completed with boundary conditions of the form ∂y ∂n + f(y) = 0. We consider distributed controls, with support in a small set. The null controllability of similar linear systems has been analyzed in a previous first part of this work. The project proposes a new use of the old Quito airport, currently Bicentenario Park., in order to reactive the area, taking into account the urban plot. The main objective of this project is to reactivate the area, because since trade in this sector was affected due to the relocation of the airport, which is why i propose to revive the area through a joint program and create different types of spaces public in a controlled manner in order to meet the needs of the citizens of the city of Quito.El proyecto propone dar un nuevo uso al antiguo aeropuerto de Quito, actualmente Parque Bicentenario., con el fin de reactivar la zona, tomando en cuenta la trama urbana. Programa “Dios existe”, usando videos-fórum, para comprender el sentido de la vida, en estudiantes de un colegio de Chiclayo

En la actualidad, se observa en la población de los adolescentes, el incremento de suicidios, embarazos precoces, drogadicción, vandalismo, que provocan en la persona, en donde el autor Viktor Frankl lo llamaría, un “vacío existencial”. Por eso, esta investigación tiene como objetivo, Demostrar la influencia de un programa “Dios existe”, usando videos-fórum, para comprender el sentido de la vida, en estudiantes de un colegio de chiclayo-2020. Esta investigación pertenece al paradigma positivista, de tipo cuantitativo, de nivel preexperimental. El instrumento utilizado fue el test, tomado de Limo (2011), del cual se realizó una adaptación acorde al contexto de la población de estudio, para recolectar datos para su posterior análisis. La población de la presente investigación estará conformada por 185 estudiantes del tercer grado de secundaria del Colegio Manuel Pardo de Chiclayo, en el año 2020. La técnica de muestreo que se usará es la no probabilística, quedando la muestra conformada por 37 estudiantes del aula de tercero C. En donde se verificará si el programa “Dios existe”, usando videos-fórum, influye positiva o negativamente para comprender el sentido de la vida, en estudiantes de un colegio de Chiclayo2020

En esta actualidad, se observa en adolescentes, el incremento de suicidios, embarazos precoces, drogadicción, vandalismo, que provocan en la persona, en donde Viktor Frankl lo llamaría, un “vacío existencial”. Entonces, esta investigación tiene como objetivo, elaborar un programa educativo "Dios existe" para la comprensión del sentido de la vida, de los estudiantes de segundo grado de secundaria del colegio Manuel Pardo de Chiclayo, año 2020. Esta investigación pertenece al paradigma positivista, de tipo cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo y diseño no experimental. El instrumento utilizado fue el test, tomado de Limo (2011), del cual se realizó una adaptación acorde al contexto de la población de estudio, recolectando datos para su posterior análisis. La población de la presente investigación estuvo conformada por 140 estudiantes del segundo grado de secundaria del Colegio Manuel Pardo de Chiclayo, en el año 2020. La técnica de muestreo usada fue la no probabilística, quedando la muestra conformada por 30 estudiantes del aula de segundo C. De los cuales, se obtuvo como resultado, después de aplicar el instrumento, que por lo menos el 53% de estudiante cuentan con una deficiente comprensión del sentido de la vida, por lo que se concluye la necesidad del programa educativa “Dios existe” para elevar la comprensión del sentido de la vida

On the Controllability of Parabolic Systems with a Nonlinear Term Involving the State and the Gradient

We present some results concerning the controllability of a quasi-linear parabolic equation (with linear principal part) in a bounded domain of ${\mathbb R}^N$ with Dirichlet boundary conditions. We analyze the controllability problem with distributed controls (supported on a small open subset) and boundary controls (supported on a small part of the boundary). We prove that the system is null and approximately controllable at any time if the nonlinear term $f( y, \nabla y)$ grows slower than $|y| \log^{3/2}(1+ |y| + |\nabla y|) + |\nabla y| \log^{1/2}(1+ |y| + |\nabla y|)$ at infinity (generally, in this case, in the absence of control, blow-up occurs). The concentration space of the textile mills in the colonial Andean world aggravated the tension between the indigenous workers and the black slaves. Ignoring the protective legislation issued in favor of the natives, the owners took advantage of the inversion of social values that was widely accepted and the thirst for compensation brought about by the frustrations of slavery, that turned the Indians into «slaves of the slaves», thus turning the blacks of the mill into true servile thugs. We will study the mechanisms of the system and its consequences in the second half of the 17th century through the case of the San Ildefonso mill, located near Ambato, in modern-day Ecuador.El espacio concentracionario de los obrajes textiles del mundo andino colonial exacerbó las tensiones entre los trabajadores indígenas y los esclavos negros. Haciendo caso omiso de la legislación protectora emitida a favor de los naturales, los dueños se valieron de la inversión de los valores sociales admitida por muchos y de la sed de compensación suscitada por las frustraciones de la esclavitud, que hacían de los indios los «esclavos de los esclavos», para transformar a los negros de los obrajes en verdaderos matones serviles.
