Constructive characterization of historical rammed-earth walls in Almohad fortresses in the ancient Reign of Seville

The TPenA binding site in TREK-1 channels

In this study, a new class of K2P blockers, derivatives of tetraethyl ammonium (TEA) with longer alkylic side chains (TnA) is described. Their binding site is determined by site-directed mutagenesis and inside-out giant patch recordings. Experiments on the inhibitory mechanism of TEA derivatives in TREK-1 channels are shown, which reveal that these molecules act as open channel blockers, similar to their mode of action in other channel families like voltage-gated potassium channels.

The poster exhibited during the congress showed the results of the archaeological research made since 2006 in Constantina castle, as well as the dissemination project. cultural tourism should be attracted only by rigorous research and dissemination projects, which is the case of Constantina (Seville)

This paper is dealing with the remains of islamic urbanism in Seville city. Written sources, but specifically archaeological research has been the main point of view. The approach was possible due to the publication of rescue excavation reports by the Anuario Arqueológico de Andalucía and some other articles and monographies. Up to know we can consider three differents periods of the Islamic Seville: Omeyya, Petty-Kings-Almorávid and Almohad

Secure Dynamic Cloud-based Collaboration with Hierarchical Access

In recent years, the Cloud has emerged as an attractive way of hosting and delivering services over the Internet. This has resulted in a renewed focus on information security in the case where data is stored in the virtual space of the cloud and is not physically accessible to the customer. Through this thesis the boundaries of securing data in a cloud context, while retaining the benefits of the cloud, are explored. The thesis addresses the increasing security concerns of migrating to the cloud andutilising it for data storage. The research of this thesis is divided into three separate areas: securing data in an untrusted cloud environment, ensuring data access control in the cloud, and securing data outside the cloud in the user's environment. Each area is addressed by separate conceptual designs. Together these comprise a secure dynamic cloud-based collaboration environment with hierarchical access. To further validate the conceptual designs, proof of concept prototypes have been constructed. The conceptual designs have been devised by exploring and extending the boundaries of existing secure data-storage schemes, and then combining these with well-known security principles and cutting-edge research within the field of cryptography. The results of this thesis are feasible conceptual designs for a cloud-based dynamic collaboration environment. The conceptual designs address the challenges of secure cloud-based storage and allow the benefits of cloud-based storage to be utilised. Furthermore, this thesis provides a solid foundation for further work within this field

Crystals of the title compound, C18H26O2, were grown from ethyl acetate. Due to the racemic precursor, the title compound is also obtained as a racemate. Disorder was observed during structure refinement, originating from two possible half-chair conformations of the non-aromatic ring. The disorder was refined by introducing split positions in the cyclo-hexane ring regarding the two possible R and S-enantiomers at the chiral CH group [ratio 0.744 (3):0.256 (3)]. The crystal structure features pairs of inversion-related molecules connected by pairs of non-classical C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds
