Un siècle de kibboutz : un regard institutionnaliste sur une institution atypique

Depuis son apparition, le modèle du kibboutz n’a cessé de fasciner. Cette expérimentation sur la terre d’Israël d’une micro-société égalitaire et solidaire, rejetant vigoureusement la logique capitaliste, vient de fêter ses cent ans. À la différence de nombreux autres projets utopistes, le kibboutz a survécu. Cependant, pour ce faire, il a été contraint d’évoluer. Le collectivisme intégral des premiers temps s’est effrité. Une forme de différentiation entre les individus y est admise, voire encouragée de nos jours - cela, afin de sauvegarder la base solidaire. L’objectif de cet article est de poser un regard sur les changements enregistrés à l’intérieur du kibboutz. Comme la réflexion se focalisera sur la rencontre entre ses valeurs et la réalité économique, elle s’appuiera sur la branche de l’institutionnalisme mettant l’accent sur la distinction entre le cérémonial et l’instrumental, qui semble parfaitement adaptée à cette intention.From the beginning, the kibbutz model never ceased to fascinate. This experiment on the land of Israel of a microsociety based on equality and solidarity, firmly rejecting the capitalist logic, has just celebrated its first century. Unlike numerous other utopian projects, the kibbutz could survive. Yet, this institution had to evolve. Integral collectivism has crumbled. Nowadays, a kind of differentiation among individuals is admitted and even encouraged, this in order to keep the basic solidarity. This article explores the changes that took place within the kibbutz. Since it addresses the confrontation between its values and its economic development, it relies on the branch of institutionalism bringing out a distinction between ceremonial and instrumental values, which seems to be fitted to this purpose

Formés surtout de villageoises, les Self-Help Groups (SHG) sont des associations qui encouragent leurs membres à entreprendre des activités économiques afin d’aider leurs familles. Leur action est également supposée permettre aux femmes d’y être mieux respectées. La micro finance fournit aux SHG les moyens de leur développement. Après avoir décrit le contexte dans lequel ils ont émergé, cet article se propose de présenter les caractéristiques essentielles des SHG à travers les critères d’évaluation de la National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). Il s’efforcera ensuite d’évaluer leurs performances économiques aussi bien que sociales.Mainly formed by village women, Self-Help Groups (SHG) are associations that encourage their members to undertake economic activities in order to support their family. Résumé : : Cet article explore les effets de l’introduction de la mesure des performances individuelles dans un sport collectif. L’apparition des statistiques dans le basketball français s’inscrit dans une logique de professionnalisation. Le découpage des séquences de jeu en actions individuelles peut se justifier dans le cadre de ce sport. Il conduit même à l’émergence de normes et à une rationalisation des pratiques. Cependant, le recours aux statistiques se heurte à des limites, que ce soit en matière de complexité de l’outil ou de comportements individualistes induits qui mettent à mal la solidarité à l’intérieur de l’équipe. Abstract : This paper explores the impact of introducing measuring in a team sport. The emergence of statistics is connected to the professionnalization of French basketball. Dividing sequences of game into individual actions may be helpful in an analytical perspective. It also leads to the development of norms. Yet, resorting to statistics raises many kinds of difficulties, both in terms of complexity of the tool or in terms of individualistic inclinations that may break the solidarity within the team
