Uz same modele, bilo je potrebno kreirati animacije i interakciju likova. Our task was to develop a 3D game using Unity game engine. The game consists of two levels in which the player must find hidden objects and defeat the enemies. We started developing the game by modeling characters and the environment, which proved to be very time-consuming. Along with the models, it was necessary to create animations and interactions between characters. Enemy characters were added the ability to detect obstacles and player character using the ray-cast functions that were implemented in their scripts. We used the database to authenticate players and save their scores. The database was first created locally and then placed on a free server. Database changes are performed through PHP scripts, which are located on the server and are invoked from the game engine

Lepidactylus triarticulatus N. Sp., A New Haustoriid Amphipod from the Northern Gulf of Mexico

    Get PDF
A new haustoriid amphipod, Lepidactylus triarticulatus n. sp., from the northern Gulf of Mexico is described and illustrated. The known range is from northern Padre Island, Texas, to Grand Isle, Louisiana. The species is ecologically plastic. On surf-exposed sandy beaches it is most abundant at the highest intertidal levels, but in fine-grained sands of wave-sheltered localities it occurs throughout the intertidal region into shallow subtidal depths. In central Texas bays it has been collected subtidally at salinities as low as 10 ppt. There are differences in morphological details of peraeopod 7 between the intertidal and subtidal populations which we regard as an ecotypic variation. A provisional generic characterization is given for the genus Lepidactylus Say

Effects of Retained Pine and Hardwood Basal Areas on Percent Cover of Plants Utilized by Bobwhite Quail

Percent cover of seven forage species utilized by bobwhite quail (Colinus virginianus) was determined before thinning and 2 and 4 years after thinning a 35-year-old loblolly pine-hardwood stand. Combinations of three loblolly pine (15, 18, and 21 m2/ha) and three hardwood (0, 3.5, and 7 m2/ha) basal areas were replicated three times. Percent cover was determined for American beautyberry (Callicarpa americana), blackberry (Rubus spp.), tick trefoil (Desmodium spp.), lespedeza (Lespedeza spp.), panic grass (Panicum spp.), yellow wood sorrel (Oxalis stricta), and three-seeded mercury (Acalypha spp.). Percent cover of American beautyberry and blackberry increased with time. Tick trefoil and panic grass were negatively related to time after thinning. However, lespedeza, yellow wood sorrel, and three-seeded mercury were not influenced significantly by time after thinning. Blackberry and panic grass were negatively related to pine basal area, while all other plant species were not affected. Three-seeded mercury was the only species not negatively related to hardwood basal area. Canopy cover and relative light intensity in the understory demonstrated an inverse relationship

Delayed Apoptotic Cell Clearance and Lupus-like Autoimmunity in Mice Lacking the c-mer Membrane Tyrosine Kinase

Mice lacking the membrane tyrosine kinase c-mer have been shown to have altered macro-phage cytokine production and defective phagocytosis of apoptotic cells despite normal phagocytosis of other particles. We show here that c-mer–deficient mice have impaired clearance of infused apoptotic cells and that they develop progressive lupus-like autoimmunity, with antibodies to chromatin, DNA, and IgG. The autoimmunity appears to be driven by endogenous antigens, with little polyclonal B cell activation. These mice should be an excellent model for studying the role of apoptotic debris as an immunogenic stimulus for systemic autoimmunity
