Integrated Marketing Communication in Project Activities

The paper deals with integrated marketing applied in project activities. The reason for this is the fact that such activities should refine their offer with a supplement in the project documentation but in the means of a different approach to the market. The amendment addresses recommendations to investors for the future construction and maintenance of facilities, and Lean and BIM in the design, construction and maintenance of facilities. That is why, during market processing, investors are offered an offer that solves the project task, includes design with visualization, and construction supervision, but already at this stage also includes certain maintenance solutions. This is only possible if the customers are approached comprehensively. For this there is an integrated marketing activity or process, where already in the market research, customers are informed about a kit containing everything from design, through construction to maintenance of the facility. Successful application of this process requires appropriate hardware and software support, as well as trained personnel for marketing. In scientific terms, a new method of integrating marketing activities in the business process of project activities is proposed. In application terms, a business process organization model integrated with marketing is presented, which enables the project company to connect with the market more dynamically and efficiently

An Approach to the Application of the Internet of Things in Logistics

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology of the future that is being widely applied in business environment. Companies around the world are starting to apply IoT technologies to ensure the most efficient business possible. The importance of the application of this technology has been particularly evident in improving logistics processes. This paper describes IoT applications in processes such as supply chain management, i.e. control of transport and storage of goods and materials. Examples of smart solutions offered by IoT technology are presented. Various technologies and standards are used in the implementation of the IoT. The scientific community is increasingly researching new technologies such as NB-IoT and 5G, which provide an even greater potential for IoT development. Therefore, this paper shows a comparison of these technologies and explains how IoT devices work with them

The assessment and ranking of failures in the information technology industry based on FMEA and MCDM

In the course of global trends, the development and application of information technologies have emerged as a valuable source of the economy at both the micro and the macro levels. According to the results of the best practice, the application of a piece of software with failures is known to possibly to serious consequences. The analysis and elimination of potential failures in commercial software is the problem that represents one of engineers’ most important tasks. In this paper, a new integrated model for the evaluation and ranking of software failures is proposed. The cost aspect is integrated into the traditional severity index. The assessment of the severity indices, as well as a possibility of detection, is based on the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis - FMEA framework. The weights of the overall severity index, the occurrence of failures, and the possibilities of detection are calculated by applying the best-worst method. The determination of the rank of the identified failures is given by applying conventional Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution - TOPSIS. Some papers put BCT in the context of land registries (LRs), land cadastres (LCs), land registration, land administration (LA) and land management (LM) and its implementation benefits. Some eight years later, from its beginnings in 2014, the question of the future of the proposed concept and whether it has one, has been raised. The Scopus database was analysed using bibliometric analysis methodology and Rstudio software with the Bibliometrix R-package and the Shiny package environment. Based on this research, significant interest and growth in the topic was found in both technical and land-governance directions. Different approaches to the topic have been established in the global north and global south. From today’s perspective, the future of BCT in both worlds is guaranteed

International Scientific Conference ''Organization and Maintenance Technology'' - OTO 2019 : Conference Proceedings of the 28th International Scientific Conference ''Organization and Maintenance Technology''

Organizacija i tehnologije održavanja 2019. odvija se pod okriljem Panon-a, Instituta za strateške studije - Osijek, Fakulteta elektrotehnike, računarstva i informacijskih tehnologija - Osijek, Građevinskog i arhitektonski fakultet - Osijek i Centara kompetencija d.o.o. za istraživanje i razvoj - Vinkovci. Od prvog skupa ''Organizacija održavanja u novim uvjetima'' održanog 20. travnja 1990. na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu Osijek održano je još 29 skupova u jedanaest različitih gradova Slavonije i Baranje. Kontinuirani rad odraz je potrebe za dijalogom i razmjenom iskustava na području održavanja kojim se promiče razvoj tehnike i znanosti. Dosadašnja iskustva kroz 522 prezentiranih i publiciranih radova ukazuju na pad zastupljenosti radova autora strojarske struke, najviše radova autora elektrotehničke, a zatim građevinske, ekonomske, poljoprivredne i prehrambeno tehnološke struke. Udio autora koji su zaposleni na tehničkim fakultetima Sveučilišta J.J. Strossmayera značajno dominira u ukupnom broju radova. Potreba visokoobrazovanog kadra koji danas bavi održavanjem za cjeloživotnim obrazovanjem nameće potrebu daljnjeg razvoja skupova OTO prema znanstvenoj izvrsnosti. Znanstveno stručni skupovi OTO predstavljaju priliku za neposrednu razmjenu iskustava stručnjaka iz svih područja održavanja s ciljem istraživanja i analize primjene novih metoda i postupaka. Skup nastoji podići razinu znanja o održavanju uzimajući u obzir kontinuirani napredak tehnike i tehnologije u svim sferama gospodarstva, infrastrukture i javnih službi. Dvadeset osmi međunarodni znanstveno stručni skup Organizacija i Tehnologija Održavanja kolokvijalno OTO 2019 održan je 12. 12. 2019. godina u Vinkovcima u organizaciji Panon-a – Institut za strateške studije - Osijek, Fakulteta elektrotehnike, računarstva i informacijskih tehnologija - Osijek, Građevinskog i arhitektonski fakultet - Osijek i Centara kompetencija d.o.o. za istraživanje i razvoj - Vinkovci. Službeni jezici Skupa su hrvatski i engleski.
