Dynamics of wave equations with moving boundary

This paper is concerned with long-time dynamics of weakly damped semilinear wave equations defined on domains with moving boundary. Since the boundary is a function of the time variable the problem is intrinsically non-autonomous. Under the hypothesis that the lateral boundary is time-like, the solution operator of the problem generates an evolution process U(t, τ ) : Xτ → Xt, where Xt are timedependent Sobolev spaces. Then, by assuming the domains are expanding, we establish the existence of minimal pullback attractors with respect to a universe of tempered sets defined by the forcing terms. This paper is divided into two sections. The first establishes the emergence of the concept of online learning and the development of Information Technology Literacy, and how they interact in the context of Online Knowledge Management in Work and Organizational Psychology. It also determines and analyzes the learning and production process within this urea. The second part describes a web-based training experience with a sample of 160 students, which lasted a semester. It outlines the objectives,practical exercises, methods, results and main findings in terms ofskills enhanced through the performance patterns followed by the students in the learning process.Este artículo se ha dividido en dos secciones. La primera establece la emergencia conceptual del espacio en línea de aprendizaje y el desarrollo de la alfabetización en las tecnologías de la información, y cómo ambos se dan la mano en el contexto de la gestión del conocimiento en línea y la psicología del trabajo. También fija y analiza los procesos deaprendizaje y produccidn en este espacio. La segunda describe una experiencia de formación basada en Internet en la que se implicó a una muestra de 160 alumnos durante un semestre. Se reseñan los objetivos, los ejercicios prácticos, los resultados y las constataciones más importantes en términos de destrezas a través de los patrones de desempeño seguidos por el alumnado en el proceso de aprendizaje

Processing parameters in laser powder bed fusion metal additive manufacturing

JPO acknowledges Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT - MCTES) for its financial support via the projects UIDB/00667/2020 and UIDB/50025/2020 .As metallic additive manufacturing grew in sophistication, users have requested greater control over the systems, namely the ability to fully change the process parameters. The goal of this manuscript is to review the effects of major process parameters on build quality (porosity, residual stress, and composition changes) and materials properties (microstructure and microsegregation), and to serve as a guide on how these parameters may be modified to achieve specific design goals for a given part. The focus of this paper is on laser powder bed fusion, but elements can be applied to electron beam powder bed fusion or direct energy deposition techniques.publishersversionpublishe

Probe of Spin Dynamics in Superconducting NbN Thin Films via Spin Pumping

The emerging field of superconductor (SC) spintronics has attracted intensive attentions recently. Many fantastic spin dependent properties in SC have been discovered, including the observation of large magnetoresistance, long spin lifetimes and the giant spin Hall effect in SC, as well as spin supercurrent in Josephson junctions, etc. Regarding the spin dynamic in SC films, few studies has been reported yet. Here, we report the investigation of the spin dynamics in an s-wave superconducting NbN film via spin pumping from an adjacent insulating ferromagnet GdN layer. A profound coherence peak of the Gilbert damping is observed slightly below the superconducting critical temperature of the NbN layer, which is consistent with recent theoretical studies. Our results further indicate that spin pumping could be a powerful tool for investigating the spin dynamics in 2D crystalline superconductors.Comment: 11 pages, 4 figures, and S
