MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING PADA MATERI BILANGAN PECAHAN

This study aims to improve students’ mathematical problem-solving ability through the Problem-Based Learning Model in Fractions learning material at grade VII of Junior High School SMP Negeri 10 Gorontalo. This classroom action research (CAR) involved 25 students as the subject and were conducted collaboratively between the researcher and teachers. This research was carried out in two cycles, and the first and second cycle consisted of three meetings, respectively. The instruments applied were an observation sheet of the teacher’s ability to manage the Problem-Based Learning Model, the observation sheet of students’ activity using the model above, and the ability tests to solve mathematical problems in the Fraction material. Further, the data were collected from observation and written tests. The results show an enhancement of the teacher’s ability in managing the Problem-Based Learning model and students’ activity using this model and the outcomes of mathematical problem-solving skill in the fractions learning material from cycle I to cycle II. Therefore, this finding indicates that the Problem-Based Learning model can be accepted as an alternative in learning Fractions at the research site

PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MISSOURI MATHEMATICS PROJECT (MMP) PADA MATERI SEGIEMPAT DAN SEGITIGA

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) pada materi Segiempat dan Segitiga di kelas VII-6 SMP Negeri 2 Gorontalo. Penelitian tindakan kelas melibatkan siswa kelas VII-6 dengan jumlah 30 orang yang terdiri dari 15 orang siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian pada proses pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa pada siklus I yaitu ranah afektif dengan kriteria baik dan sangat baik mencapai 54,17%, ranah psikomotorik dengan kriteria baik dan sangat baik mencapai 56,67%, ranah kognitif siswa yang tuntas dengan persentase 66,67% dan pada siklus II yaitu ranah afektif dengan kriteria baik dan sangat baik mencapai 80,83%, ranah psikomotorik dengan kriteria baik dan sangat baik mencapai 83,33%, ranah kognitif siswa yang tuntas dengan persentase 90%. Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Materi Teorema Pythagoras Menggunakan Aplikasi Geogebra di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 15 Gorontalo

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Teorema Pythagoras dengan menggunakan aplikasi GeoGebra. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 15 Gorontalo pada tahun ajaran 2021-2022 semester genap. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan 20 siswa dan seorang guru sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar pengamatan guru, lembar pengamatan siswa dan tes hasil belajar. Penelitian ini berlangsung dengan 2 siklus. Hasil pengamatan kegiatan guru yang mencapai kategori baik dan sangat baik meningkat dari 61,25% menjadi 82,5%. Selanjutnya hasil pengamatan siswa yang mencapai kategori baik dan sangat baik juga maningkat dari 61,11% menjadi 80,56%. Untuk hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan yaitu 64,91% menjadi 81,83%. MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF DENGAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING

The purpose of this research is to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes on ball material through interactive multimedia learning with discovery learning models. This research was conducted in class IX-4 of MTs Negeri 2 Boalemo in the 2019/2020 school year with a total of 21 student. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted with 1 cycle. The instruments used are in the form of teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and learning outcomes tests. The results of observations of teacher activities obtained a minimum category of good or very good with a percentage of 87.5% and the results of observations of student activities obtained a minimum category of good or very good with a percentage of 91%. Meanwhile, for the learning outcomes test, 19 students achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), or about 90.5%, and 2 students did not complete the test, or around 9.5%. The average student's mathematics learning outcomes on the ball material are 89% or meet the indicators of succes
