An investigation of the effect of time management on the academic improvement of Iranian graduate students

This research investigates the effect of time management on the academic improvement of Sirjani graduate students. Research’s statistical population consists of 1588 Sirjani graduate students in the 2011-2012 class year. Based on Krejcie and Morgan’s table, 310 students were selected as the sample and were tested using questionnaire. The results of research hypotheses test indicated that time management and its dimensions (Commitment, current situation analysis, planning and follow-up and reanalysis) have a significant effect on students’ academic improvement. At the end, some suggestions are made based on research findings in order to develop the current situation of time management and academic improvement

Search for SUSY in Top Final States in the mSUGRA Scenario at CMS

A search for SUSY is performed in a low mass mSUGRA test point by looking for top quark enriched in the final states. A robust algorithm is developed to suppress the electrons faking a jet and a two constraints kinematic fit is utilized to improve the top quark extraction. It is found that the signal over background ratio is 11.0 and a 5 sigma excess can be observed with 0.2 fb^-1. The fast simulation of the detector response is used to find the CMS potential discovery for SUSY in this channel. The reach contours for 1, 10 and 30 fb^-1 are presented

The study of relationship between transformational leadership style and organizational performance in state offices of Sirjan City based on EFQM model

The present study is conducted to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership style and organizational performance in governmental offices of Sirjan city based on the EFQM model. The study has applied purpose and in terms of nature and method is descriptive - correlational. The statistical population includes all government staff in Sirjan city in 2014 that is more than 1815 people. According to Morgan table, among them, 317 subjects were selected by random class sampling method. The standardized questionnaire of transformational leadership style with 20 questions was used for data collection and standardized questionnaire of Quality Excellence Model of Europe with 42 questions was used for organizational performance. Both questionnaires had acceptable validity and their reliability based on Cronbach's alpha test was obtained to be 0.961 for transformational leadership style and 0.95 for organizational performance. Descriptive statistic and inferential statistic methods were used to analyze the data. The results of data analysis showed a significant and positive relationship between transformational leadership style and all dimensions with organizational performance in governmental offices of Sirjan city based on the EFQM model
