ELECTRICAL ENERGY CONSERVATION IN A DISTILLERY PLANT- A CASE STUDY

    Get PDF
Energy is a main function for each kind of process. It is the central force behind our productivity, our leisure and our environment. Energy Audit is the integral part of Energy Management. The energy audit can unearth huge profits to the industry. It quantifies the energy uses according to its various functions. It attempts to balance the total energy inputs with the output or the uses. The energy conservation and maximization strategies for a process industry like distillery plant are cost effective, which conserve the environment automatically. The electrical energy audit of a distillery plant has wide scope of energy conservation. The audit has been successfully completed and concluded with the saving of the 18500 kWh per year of energy. The most of the electrical energy is utilized to drive electrical motors used for various processes. Energy will be saving in case of motors with the help of the variable frequency drives, which reduces the speed of the motors as well as energy. The distillery has the beneficial of Rs. 1, 20,910 by implementing given recommendations

    Efficient Deep-Web-Harvesting Using Advanced Crawler

Due to heavy usage of internet large amount of diverse data is spread over it which provides access to particular data or to search most relevant data. It is very challenging for search engine to fetch relevant data as per user’s need and which consumes more time. So, to reduce large amount of time spend on searching most relevant data we proposed the “Advanced crawler”. In this proposed approach, results collected from different web search engines to achieve meta search approach. Multiple search engine for the user query and aggregate those result in one single space and then performing two stages crawling on that data or Urls. In which the sight locating and in-site exploring is done f or achieving most relevant site with the help of page ranking and reverse searching techniques. This system also works online and offline manner

REVIEW OF THREADED FASTENERS LOOSENING AND ITS EFFECTS

Threaded components are the most important structural elements influencing significantly the strength and endurance of the whole structural assembly. Threaded connections are used for their ability to develop a clamping force and for the disassembly possibility that is important for maintenance. It has also been widely observed that fasteners turn loose when subjected to dynamic loads in the form of vibration. This reduces the preload force of bolt and leads to joint failure. Such failure can be catastrophic in safety critical applications. Threaded fasteners facilitate some machine parts such that they can be readily assembled or disassembled without making any damage to either of the components. This is needed for the purpose of clamping, setting up, servicing, inspection, overhauling, etc. However, under hostile vibration condition, threaded fasteners often fail to retain the tightening torque, thereby causing its loosening. History of evolution of screw fasteners dates back to few thousand years ago

Analysis of A Sequential Java Code for Automaticparallelization in Distributed Networks for High Performance Computing –A Runtime Approach

The popularity of the Internet and the availability of powerful computers and high-speed networks as low cost commodity components are changing the way we use computers today. This technology opportunity has led to the possibility of using networks of computers as a single, unified computing resource. Itis possible to use multiple computers as a single unified resource for high performance computing. The Java Development Environment (JDE) includes several features which facilitate the production of stable, robust code for parallel processing. Threads provide an efficient and effective paradigm for utilizing tightly coupled systems and socket communication, remote method invocation (RMI) are for distributing environments. The work focuses on an automatic parallelization of a Java code to improve the performance of a program execution. At run time it parallelizes the code for execution. The research focuses on a new parallel execution technique in which the sequential java code is analyzed and parallelized so that each part of code is executed on different system in a network in accordance with the availability of the computers in a network. It speeds up the execution of a particular application to a great extent

Finite Element Analysis and Experimental Study of Composite Leaf Spring

Leaf springs are the suspension components used in the automobile industry. For conservation of natural resources and to economize energy, weight reduction has been the focus of automobile Industries. Weight is the main issue related to the automobile industry. Thus automobile manufacturers are giving importance to reduction of weight. While reducing weight of the component designer has to think about increasing or maintaining strength of the component

“Analysis of Graphite/epoxy/coconut Coir Composite Material Using Finite Element Method in Comparison with Experimental Solution”

In this research paper composite material is manufactured by using hand layup method and mechanical properties are investigated. By using natural fibers with the epoxy and graphite fibers, the mechanical properties of the composite material show better results. Tensile strength and bending strength after testing found is very high as compared other composite material with natural fibers. At the end it is found that this graphite/ epoxy/ coconut coir composite material is feasible for the mechanical application. Also it is found that tensile and bending strength is high

Fabrication of composite materials by using short pineapple leaf fiber PALF : A Review

    No full text
Composite materials (also called composition materials or shortened to composites) are materials made from two or more constituent materials with significantly different physical or chemical properties, that when combined, produce a material with characteristics different from the individual components. The individual components remain separate and distinct within the finished structure. The new material may be preferred for many reasons: common examples include materials which are stronger, lighter or less expensive when compared to traditional materials. In the last decades, the use of natural fibers as reinforcement in polymeric composites for technical application has been a research subject of scientist. Interest in natural fibers has increased worldwide due to their low cost, low density, hardness, higher fatigue endurance, good thermal and mechanical resistivity and to their environmental friendliness
